Lavina's tear-strickened face accidentally met hers when she raised her head in her direction. Her perplexed eyes followed her every movement.
Gala lifted her finger above her lips to hush her down. Ajayka's fragment of soul hadn't noticed her presence. Fortunately, Lavina grasped the message she wanted to relay and acted like she didn't see her.
She continued her stride towards Ajayka, whose actions were dubious. And that's not the only thing that puzzles her; the fact that Ajayka's soul was here was enough sign that she was conspiring to do something detrimental.
'And where's Carlia? I thought those two were inseparable.' She thought out of curiosity.
