"Carlia!?" Lavina exclaimed, her face as pale as paper, and met her halfway."What are you doing here? H-h-how did you find me?" She stuttered as she vigilantly peeked behind her to check if she was with someone else. She silently sighed with relief when she was sure that Carlia went here alone.
The witch took her hand right away and clasped it so tightly that it surprised her a bit. She felt a heavy emotion underlying those touches, but she decided to ignore the subtle sign that Carlia showed her.
Carlia, with a smile on her face, answered the inquiring witch. "I was able to trace your scent." She lied. She then cast a glance towards the hesitant orc, a few feet away from them. "Aren't you going to introduce me to your..." She trailed off as she swayed her head to the right, making eye contact with the orc. The orc nodded at her and reluctantly smiled, which she didn't acknowledge.
