Juri really thought Riva over did it this time. Riva had packed Ruel up like a pack mule and Juval laughed at him while Ruel wore a sheepish grin on his face. Riva and Juri stood to one side as the men packed everything onto a boat.
"It's the only way to get to the Rochester's; they have an island all to themselves," said Prince Juval when she enquired as to the purpose of the boat.
When she had initially agreed to go with Juval to the picnic, she thought it was just a one-day event, but she thought wrong. Turns out the picnic was just the opening event to a week-long house party.
Riva had laughed at her astonishment after asking if there was anything else she wanted her to pack in her luggage. She was the only one who didn't know what she was agreeing to when accepted Juval's invite and it ticked her off even more.
"You seem more cheerful now," Juval said.
