ACE POV:
Wind romanced my face wildly. Swift flapped his wings after breaking the walls.
"That...that...bird!". Rachel couldn't help but gape.
It flew towards me and picked me up.
Oxiagal crashed into the wall, exiting the room.
Rachel grabbed my leg suddenly as Swift flew past.
She couldn't hold on to me.
We flew out of the building.
"No, the vampires! They're still in there!".
I yelled wildly, hoping to return.
It looked at me from underneath it's torso.
"They're safe!".
I was shocked for a moment.
'How did...? Oh, I can slither!'.
"Where are they then?".
"Slightly better than here!".
I heard a familiar voice in my head.
"You're welcome!".
"Merlin!" I scoffed.
I remembered the rampage Merlin made me go on. I felt pained.
"You did nothing for me, murderer!".
"Saviour's a better description!".
MEANWHILE, SOMEWHERE FAR AWAY
REBECCA POV:
We appeared in an unlikely and unknown place.
I looked at the people. They seemed almost all accounted for.
"Becca!".
I turned around. It was Sarah.
"Dad... Dad's...dead!".
She whimpered as she said it.
I wept softly.
"It's all right! It's all right, Sarah!".
"They...they killed him!".
"We have to be strong!".
We basked in our sorrowful embrace.
"Chief!".
"My dad's dead!"
"No. You!'
"I'm not your chief!".
"Yes, you are!".
"Not now, Spar!".
Soon, I picked up a familiar scent. I looked on the directions.
For the first time, I looked past my tears.
Skyscrapers were everywhere. We were at the base of a building; an alley of sort.
Two people were making out in the corner.
"Disgusting!" I scoffed.
I walked up to them.
"Excuse me!".
They didn't seem to care. One look and one could tell they were delinquent teens one virtue away from loose.
"EXCUSE ME!".
They finally stopped smooching but still managed to maintain disinterestedness.
"Where's this?".
"Fuck off, pussy!".
It was the boy.
"Swear at me again and you'll never mate again!".
He looked flustered.
"You're in the Yankees!".
"Yankees? Never heard...!".
"New York?!".
"Wait, we're in the humans'?".
