Jessica awakes to the mysterious chirping of the mysterious birds that surround the island. She put on her clothes for the day and began to pack. Since she wasn't even finished unpacking, it was easy to pack the stuff that was unpacked already. After she was done, she began to move her belongings to the Star Suit.
"Good morning." Zoe greeted Jessica as she walked in. Before taking her boxes into her room and placing it beside her bed, she waved at Zoe. "Since it's still early, you want to learn something with me?" Zoe asked Jessica. "Like?" Jessica responded as she sat on the couch. "I found a file in Astellan's archives titled Dragon King," Zoe said pulling it out from under the couch's cushion. "What?! Why would you do something so illegal?" Jesica questioned. "Because we know too little. If we want to be prepared for the future, we first need to know the past. The dragon king is a big part of the Dragonic War which is a big part of the past. Realms of MagiaTerra have hidden too many things from their people and their heirs. It's time for it to stop. We need to know everything, especially us." Zoe stated. Jessica nodded in response.
Zoe opens the file and sets it on the table for her and Jessica to read. "Date of Birth: Unknown. Name: Unknown. Place of Birth: Magicae. Species: Human/Dragon. Sex: Male. Magic Type: Unknown/Arcane Magic. Status: Deceased. No, no no! This is all? This is it? A freaking bummer! This makes me want to be on Eberus." Jessica blurted. "It's okay. At least we know that he was born in your kingdom. Maybe we can find more information there. Shit! It's almost time for class but we can continue this later." Zoe told Jessica as she began to stand. "Okay," Jessica responded.
As they both go in opposite directions to class, Zoe sees Ashamoke and speeds up to walk with him. "Hey," Zoe asserted. "Hey, I was just looking for you. You maybe want to hang out at the Vine after school?" Ashamoke continued as they walked. "It's going to be a party there." He spoke. "Sure. But is it just going to be me and you or should I invite the girls?" Zoe asked smirking. "Yeah, invite them. We're all going to head to the vine after school." Ashamoke said.
"Settle down." Mr. Juven advised the students as they walked into the class. Zoe and Ashamoke walk in and sit down at the first table they see empty. "Okay, as you all know this class is Plants 102. Congratulations, you guys made it to this class. Most people don't and end up dying by making tea out of a Daevid Flower. Can anyone tell me who is Daevid and why is the Daevid Flower named after him?" Mr. Juven questioned the class. No one answered. He looks around the class, scanning the faces of the students. "Ashamoke, answer it please." Mr. Juven said fiercely. "Daevid was the third king of Magicae. He was called Daevid, The Callous King. During his reign, he studied the land and did experiments to kill the humans. The result of his experiments was a flower, a very poisonous flower. The Daevid Flower is named after him because of its cruel nature, just like the late King Daevid." Ashamoke explained confidently. "Wow. And class, that's how you answer a question. Even if you didn't know anything about the Daevid Flower, you all should know about the third king of Magicae, he is infamous throughout all of the realms." Mr. Juven noted. "You my student, get an A+ for the day." Mr. Juven concluded. Mr. Juven was going to write something on the board but then was stopped after a commotion outside the building.
"Students and staff enter the nearest classroom immediately. This is a hard lockdown. I repeat, this is a hard lockdown." Gaeraud announced on the intercom. "Some of you come to help me with boarding the door, close the shutters, and head to the back of the room. The rest of you hide under tables." Mr. Juven roared at the class.
"Gaeraud! What is the meaning of this?" Seylah shouted at Gaeraud. "Someone is attempting to attack the building. The Queen warned me." Gaeraud trying to calm Seylah. "Who?" Seylah asked. "You wouldn't be surprised," Gaeraud responded laughing.
Sylvie walks across the driveway in front of the school. "What are you doing?" Sylvie asked. "Oh, just getting the queen's attention. Tell me, sister, why did our creator choose you to be queen?" Saeveryn questioned Sylvie with an evil smirk. "Well, I'm the eldest. That's a big reason right off the bat." Sylvie bristled. Saeveryn smiled. A magic circle appeared under Saeveryn's left hand. "Do we have to do this? It won't end well for you." Sylvie notices the ground begins to shake.
The ground beneath Sylvie begins to crumble and she screams. Saeveryn smiles in her 'agony'. Sylvie's face suddenly looks fierce and serious. She stops screaming and walks in mid-air, going towards Saeveryn. Her eyes glow and then a magic circle appears under Saeveryn. Saeveryn jumps out of the circle and a magic circle appears in her palm. "Domus XI Reverse," Saeveryn says a spell. Sylvie began to breathe harder with each second passing. Sylvie then snapped her fingers and Saeveryn flew back as she got catapulted. Before Sylvie could reach Saeveryn, dark golden balls appeared in the air and began to explode, due to a chain reaction. Sylvie begins to fly, dodging all of the explosives. While in the sky, Sylvie channeled magic into one blast and blasted it at her. Out of nowhere, a sword appeared in Saeveryn's hand, and she sliced through the blast.
"Sister! I am finally going to do what needs to be done for the realm. So, get out of my way!" Saeveryn bellowed as she flew up into the sky preparing to strike Sylvie with her sword. Sylvie counted Saeveryn's attack with her bare hands, pushing Saeveryn back to the ground. "Enough of this childish behavior. We are ending this right now!" Sylvie snapped. Vines begin to cover Saeveryn's body, and she is then buried underneath the ground. Sylvie then teleports away back to the palace.
"The lockdown is over. Students and staff please safely continue classes." Seylah said over the intercom. "What happened?" Gaeraud questioned Seylah. "Princess Saeveryn came to the school to kill everyone here who isn't a nymph. That includes Princess Jessica. Although Princess Sloan of Zaharia is here, her kingdom isn't as important to Astellan as Jessica's kingdom is. If Jessica died and if King Eris found out it was Sylvie's sister who killed Jessica, we would be at war. Magicae is not a kingdom to be messed with. So, I had you put the school on lockdown so that Sylvie could deal with Saeveryn. It was pretty dire." Seylah explained to Gaeraud. "Saeveryn's always been jealous of Sylvie being queen. But I can't believe she would go this far." Gaeraud sighed. "This isn't the end. She stirred up something that we couldn't handle. She brought doom to the realm and maybe the whole world."
