Hasan gasps as he opens his eyes. "Grayson." He said worriedly. He gets up out of his bed on climbs out of his window.
Seylah sighs as she stands in front of the building watching the Queen and her sister depart back to the capital. "Are you all okay?" Seylah asked as she turned around and the students were behind her. They all nodded their heads in a hurry. "Wait! I'm moving you, Jessica, to the Star suite. Your roommates are gonna be Zoe, Sloan, and Rose." Seylah stated. Jessica has a confused look on her face but ultimately nods and leaves with the others.
Jessica knocks on the dorm room of Aeron's. There is no answer but the door is unlocked. She walks into the dorm just to see no one. She felt cold air coming from the window and walked over there to shut it. Before shutting the window, she noticed that someone was in the room she was in. "Don't close it. I'm smoking." Hasan says sitting on his bed in the dark. "It's really cold," Jessica said attempting to start a conversation. "It's just the Nmutua breeze," Hasan said before taking a hit from his blunt. "That's Eberus?" Jessica asked. "Pure," Hasan responded. "Can I hit?" Jessica asserted. Hasan pats down on the bed.
Jessica sits next to him from his bed and takes a hit from his blunt. Her eyes glow green for a split second. "Aw, I see it's your first time," Hasan says in an intoxicated voice. Jessica puts on a fake smile for a quick second. "You know you can tell me if something is wrong, right?" Jessica asked Hasan sincerely. Hasan smiles. "Everything is amazing," Hasan said. They stare at each other for a moment and tears start to flow out of Hasan's eyes. He lays his head onto Jessica's shoulder and cries.
"B-before you, there was this other person in the group. His name was Grayson. We loved each other so much. But he's gone now and I miss him so much." Hasan says sobbing. Jessica rubs his shoulder trying her best to comfort him. "What happened to him?" Jessica asked Hasan. "That tyrant Zane hunted him because his family went against the humans and sided with the fairies. The only way he could escape him was going to Earth. Even though he isn't dead, I still miss him." Hasan says quietly. Jessica looked worried. She was going to begin to speak but they heard a firework in the distance.
A few moments later, both of their phones chime.
"Meet at HQ," Ashamoke texted in a group chat that all the knights are in.
Everyone meets at Dell Sterum
Zoe and Ashamoke were searching through books in a small library in Dell Sterum. "I found it!" Zoe shouts. They all gather in the living room. "Here. It says that the fireworks of red and white that shine from the capital call for a summit of those that call themselves the knights of the realm, and the reigning monarch whether king or queen." Zoe reads a section of a book. Everyone looks at each other in shock and they all get dressed up to go to the capital where the palace is.
They all enter the palace and then get escorted to the council room by guards. There is the queen at the head of the table.
They all sit down in the chairs of the table. "So it's true, you knights are back," Slyvie said seriously. There was a few seconds of silence. "My queen, why did you call for a summit?" Zoemira broke the silence. Queen Sylvie looks at Zoemira with a discreet but mischievous smile. "Do you know the origin of the Knights of Astellan? Do you know how long it's been since the last generation of the knights? No? Very well. I will reveal some knowledge for you, for what I want is a response. With the response I shall receive, I will know how to handle things." Sylvie explained. The knights all shook their heads in agreement to listen.
"Four-hundred twenty years ago, the Great Dragonic War broke out. During this time of discord, the realms pushed aside their differences and joined together to fight the dragons. Oh, King Baron, Queen Elaine, and I became feared throughout the realms, even minor ones. Around 200 years ago, a powerful dragon appeared. He created dozens of cataclysms throughout Magia Terra that ultimately forced us world leaders to create new world maps. His goal was to kill all dragons, for which he wasn't born one. He taught himself dragon slayer magic but used it so much his skin became scales and he turned into one of the most powerful dragons in existence. He was able to switch between his two forms but the longer he stayed a dragon, the more he lost his humanity. He is the very reason I cannot reclaim my title as 'warrior queen Sylvie'. He loved testing how long my magic could stand against his arcane magic. Until one day on Eptembersay 8th. I gathered my magic, and removed him from existence, ending the war."
"The reason he was removed is because he was targeting my kingdom. The geography of the capital looks like it does now because of a single roar of his. He would've never targeted my people if the knights didn't see their wrongs. The Knights Of Astellan formed their group to protect Astellan from dragons, from criminals that the police couldn't handle, and wars with the other realms. The Knights are like the Elementalists, just with a few differences. Anyway, the knights found a way to relocate the dragon to another planet. But once I studied the planet I called it off."
"It was Earth wasn't it?" Ash asked, before letting Slyvie finish. "Yes. I didn't want to banish the dragon to a planet that he'd destroy within a day. Instead, I asked the knights if they were willing to fight him with me. They agreed. Later that day I evacuated the people of the capital and surrounding villages. The knights put up a great fight, but ultimately they were slaughtered. 'This is your elite squad of Astellan? I gotta say though, they put up a great fight. But not as good as you, Slyvie,' he told me after killing them. I told him that his reign as the dragon king was over and we fought for two nights and days. I even drove him to resort to his human form and fight me. Ultimately, I won and ended the war." Sylvie finished explaining it in a short story.
"What was the dragon's name?" Sola asked. "I have no idea. We just always called him the dragon king or the arcane dragon." Sylvie responded. "Now, for my question: are you all the reincarnation of the last knights? See I didn't say this but, before their bodies were buried, I placed a spell on the knights. Their souls would be reincarnated. If you have their souls, I'll have no reason not to trust you all, and the small council will become reformed." Sylvie informed them. "Okay... so how do we do it?" Hasan asked. Sylvie smiled and her eyes turned white. A few moments later, the eyes of the knights turned white as well. Then everyone's right eye turned red then back to normal.
"Very well. You all are free to go, Knights of Astellan." Sylvie smiled graciously.
They all head back to the Isle of Titania which holds the school they dwell within.
Jessica walks to the dormitory corridor and enters it. When she turned on the lights, she saw a note on her bed. "Due to safety precautions, you have been moved to the Star Suit with the following students, Rose Radmideing, Princess Sloan Utama Mava Zaharia of Isthmus Zaharia, and Princess Zoe Griffin Astellan of the Astellan Kingdom, Princess of Nymphs and all in the Realm within each kingdom border, and Princess of Circle Magic. First thing in the morning get up early to pack your things so you can make it to class. Sincerely, Headmistress Kirby." Jessica whispered as she read the letter to herself.
She sighs. "Well, what a day."
