I walked into a 2-story building with some glass walls on the front, and I could see different equipment from outside, so I walked in. As soon as I walked in, a buff guy with blond hair and blue eyes greeted me.
"Welcome, sir! How may I help you today? " He said with a smile.
"I paid for an army training program here," I said as he approached me. "I see," he said as he opened a holographic list and started reading through it. "Your good name?" he asked while going through the list. I said, "Steven."
After looking for my name for some time, he finally found my name. "Ah, yes, here you are," he said as he looked at the profile. "Please follow me, sir!" he said as he started walking, and as I followed him, I looked around as I was following him. There were some people here who were here early. Some were doing exercises with some trainers and some were doing them alone.
Soon we reached a stairway that went down. I thought it was an underground room or something, as I was floating. I looked at the buffed guy in front of me. It was as if he knew what I was going to ask him, but he started explaining on his own. "There are special rooms for people who want to train to join the army." I nodded as I followed him down the stairs. Soon we entered a corridor that had rooms right next to each other in a row with a gap of about 2 meters. I frowned as I saw this. "Why are the rooms so close to each other?" I thought but didn't voice it out loud as I followed him. We soon reached a room, and he opened the door, and when I glanced inside, I was shocked like, wtf man? The room is 10 times bigger inside.
The room was full of different equipment and it looked quite nice. It had some mirrors on one side of the wall and different doors that I think should lead to different rooms. But wow, it looked amazing, I thought.
But a question eventually left my mouth. "How are the rooms bigger inside?" I asked. He looked at me with a smile and said, "There is space perception whooping technology used in every room, so they are equally big and all of them have the same equipment."
Damn, that must be expensive, I thought. As I nodded to his explanation, "Your trainer will be arriving here in a short while." You can do some light exercises till then. " "Goodbye," he said as he left the room.
After he left, I started looking around like a small kid. while I did some light exercises to relax and loosen my tight muscles a bit. As I did so, I looked at the different equipment that I could use. I couldn't even recognize most of them as I looked at them. As I was lost in my thoughts, I heard the door opening, or should I say, sliding open. So I looked towards the door and saw a buff guy walking in. He was wearing an army vest with army pants. His muscles were bulging as he was walking toward me.
"So you are the person who I am going to train." He asked me with a doubtful look, "Yes I am " I replied. "I see." "You can call me Finn," he said. "OK, nice to meet you, Finn. I am Steven. " I introduced myself
"Alright, let's start," he said, with a stern voice.
1 hour later
"huff... huff Ahhhhha"I grunted while lifting some weights. "ALRIGHT, LAST 10 LEFT" Finn was cheering me on from the back as I was lifting the weights. "You said the same thing last time," I said in an annoyed tone. I have been using different gym equipment for the last hour, and after my sets, Finn will add 10 or more.
This is getting annoying, damn it. I thought to myself as I was lifting the weights. But I guess this is helping me as well. I am pushing past my limits. (1) As I was thinking about this, my last set was complete and I left the weights. "All right, Steven, give me 20 right now," Finn said as I stood up. As soon as I heard this, I lay down on the floor and started doing pushups. "huff huff huff" My breath is getting ragged.
Soon, a pain shot past my back as I got smacked on my back by Finn. "Your posture is wrong; keep your back straight," he said. "Yes sir," I replied, as soon as he said so, as I corrected my posture.
Time went by as soon as it was 8 a.m. I left the gym and made my way back to the apartment building.
I soon arrived at the apartment building. But instead of going there, I went straight to Jack's restaurant.
"Ding-ding." I opened the door and a noise reacted in my ears. I looked up and saw a classic metal bell hanging by the door. This was something new, I thought as I walked in and Jack was manning the counter. As soon as I walked in, he smiled at me and said, "Looks like your beat, hmm?" and You reek of sweat." I sighed and said, "Cut me some slack. I am trying, "I said, as I asked for some food. Soon, Jack vanished into the kitchen, and I sat there alone. I thought that not many people come here now that I thought about it. It must be hard for Jack and boring too, I guess, to stay here all day. But I shouldn't be prying into other people's businesses. I thought as I was thinking, Jack came back with some food. I ate it. I was really hungry.
After paying for my food, I said my goodbyes to Jack and started moving to the apartment building.
As I was walking back, I noticed there was a hover truck parked right outside the building. Someone must be moving in, I thought as I walked by it. It was empty. They moved all the stuff in already. I started walking up the stairs as I was thinking. As I was walking up the stairs, I saw someone walking right in front of me. It was a human girl with blond hair. I could tell that from her back as I moved. It looks like she is having trouble lifting all the stuff. I thought as I saw her, taking every step carefully, she was carrying three boxes on top of each other.
I thought it looked like a kid trying to lift three boxes as I saw her. She was taking every step carefully because she couldn't see anything in front of her. As I walked by her, I asked, "Excuse me, but do you need any help lifting those?"
"Y-yes, thank you for the help," she said. I thought she had a really cute voice when I heard it. I took the two boxers she had and left her with one at the bottom. As soon as I lifted the boxers, I saw her red
eyes. Red eyes are quite rare in the human race. I didn't stare at her eyes for too long. I was afraid of what Aimee would think if she saw me looking at a girl. As we were walking up, I said, "Hello, you can call me Steven." I introduced myself as "Ruby Lamalle, nice to meet you," she said with a smile.
"It's a nice name; it suited your eyes," I said to continue the conversation.
"I see. Thank you for the compliment. " Ruby said."Is he hitting on me?" she thought to herself, but didn't let it out.
Soon we reached the top floor. We were right next to my apartment as well. But Ruby suddenly said, "This is my room. Thank you for the help. You can leave the boxes here," she said as she was opening the door of her apartment. "No problem. If you need any help, you can call me anytime. I live next door, "I said as I walked to my apartment and opened it. As I walked it, I felt another person's presence in the apartment. "Hay, I am back," I said as I walked into the living room. "Ya, maybe you can become her friend or something. "Her name is Ruby," I said
"Wait, did you say Ruby?" Aimee asked in a hurry.
"Ya Ruby Lamalle," I said,
and soon the sound of something falling came and shook the whole apartment
