In a room without any windows, the sounds of someone breathing heavily could be heard.

I was breathing heavily as I was in the room. It was pitch black and all I could see was darkness.
I could not hear anything other than my breathing and my heart drumming against my ribs.
Even with my improved eyesight, I could not see anything.
As I was breathing deeply,

a funny sound echoed in the room. Something hit me in the back of my head. "Focus on your senses,"
I heard Jack's voice. It was as if it was coming from every corner of the room.
I was currently in the basement of Jack's restaurant. Jack had told me to meet him here, and when I arrived, he wanted to test me. He told me to use my senses and fight him in the dark.
But as soon as Jack turned the lights off, he completely vanished.
It was as if he was the darkness.
