When the first book was opened, I quickly read through it while attempting to comprehend everything. My body has sped up my thinking, yet it's not always simple to understand what it wants me to comprehend. The book claims that mana has a variety of abilities, including the ability to cure, give people superhuman strength, and enable them to create things out of nothing, but I was curious as to where it originated and what it is that creates mana. I read all of the different books in the group but was unable to find a solution to my own query in any of the pages. After reading them all, I had a basic understanding of the issue.
Humans learn about mana from other species in this universe, some of which can utilise it from birth and some of which cannot, like humans. Artificial cores are made by humans to try to control their own mana.
Different grades on fake or artificial mana cores provide information about the mana core's quality. In terms of the actual grades, they range from E to S. There are three separate levels in each one where mana can be found. All artificial mana cores are made with grades E to C, whereas organic mana cores are made with grades B to S. They are extremely uncommon and obtained from genuine living creatures.
The three grades of mana core are stage 1, stage 2, and stage 3. Stage 1, being the highest, and Stage 3, being the lowest.
I have no true idea of the grade or core stage of my core. To learn it for myself, I would have to wait till I enlisted in the military. After that, I studied the many elements of mana, which include fire, water, earth, and air, in addition to some other components like poison, space-time distortion, and several more.
After reading all of this, I looked down at the book I was holding and noticed my missing nails. This reminded me of the healing mana I had read about, so I quickly pulled it out and carefully read it. The book says I should concentrate my mana where I want it to heal and let it seep into the region where it will try to repair itself naturally.
I was about to give it a try right then, but the book had a caution that stated that if the process was carried out without any prior expertise, it may accidently cause the bodily part we were trying to cure to explode.
I was ready to give it a try, but hearing this gave me the chills. Therefore, in order to get some expertise, I may need a test subject. In fact, if I want to learn how to use it to cure myself, I may need more than one. I sat upright on my study table as I touched a cube with several pattrons since it was a portable computer that could be carried everywhere after considering what to experiment on and deciding to purchase a few experiment mice. Since access to this sort of technology in slums is quite rare, I had never used it before.
I eventually purchased a couple of the test subjects after attempting to figure out how to utilize the cube, and I sat there admiring my room's ceiling. I was startled to see that it was the middle of the night when I glanced at the time, so I got up and walked over to the bed. I felt so fantastic when I got into the bed that I almost moaned. It took me over a minute to fall asleep after lying down, despite how comfy it was.but when I opened my eyes,
I didn't want to see that room again in my life when I opened my eyelids. It was the same room where I was chained to a chair for hours and tortured, and that burly man watched as I sobbed in agony. He enjoyed it whenever one of my nails was ripped out.
"N-n-no why am I here again?" I asked as I watched the smiling man. I escaped him, I thought. I killed them. I killed them all. I corrected myself and looked around, and what I saw made me have a cold sweat run down my back. All of them were smiling while they looked at me. While I was in agony, they all laughed as I was chained up.
As I watched it, suddenly the tiles from the floor started to disappear. As I watched it, one by one, all of the tiles under me disappeared in front of my eyes. I panicked. And then I was back in the dream where my parents died right in front of me, but this time something changed. That alien looked at me, not the kid me, but the me who was standing there and walked over to me. But soon the ground under my feet shook and I fell down again. As I fell into a dark abyss, I maintained eye contact with the alien.
Suddenly, I fell into the water. There was still light coming through the place where I fell, so I looked around and the water was everywhere I looked. I couldn't breathe or swim in that water. I soon started sinking. The light from the surface of the water soon disappeared as I sank into the darkness. It was as if I was sinking into an abyss. The never ending darkness was comfortable. It was as if I had merged with it.
But then I opened my eyes again, but this time I was in my room. I was breathing heavily and I was covered in sweat. When I looked at the mirror, it nearly made me fall off my bed in shock. My one eye was black. There was no red color like before, but it dissappeared soon and the red colored eye came back just like normal. But after that, I looked down at my hands and froze again. My nails grew back over night, but they were pitch black, like someone had painted them black. They had a few white shining dots, just like the mana core I ate back in the slums. "What is going on?" I asked myself when I saw this.
