The twins were completely confused as they saw this giant man in such rage. Why is he so angry? What did I do? But he wasn't looking at me at all. He was glaring at these two. I looked at them but then I noticed it. It wasn't two. It was just one person. The woman. In her hands she had a type of needle. How did I not see this? Did she just hypnotize me? She looks back to me and just smirks. Her eyes were mismatched. One was white while the other was green. The only thing that still stayed with how she looked was the scar around her neck.
Jeremy's growl made both her and I look at him. He had claws already and his teeth. They had those four fangs. Sharp and ready. I felt completely hypnotized. His eyes were a bright yellow. They were almost glowing. He took one step and I flinched.
"Touch her and I will rip your throat out you freaking Empath!" Jeremy snaps at her
I hear gentle growls and I looked at Jeremy once again seeing how angry he looked. What is an Empath? Why did he say if she touched me he'd kill her? What did he mean by that? Jeremy isn't my mate why is he acting so defensive like that? Did I do something to make him obsess over me? Werewolves are so weird. Jeremy is so bipolar. This world is so confusing. So much I need to learn and so much I need to keep processing. So much information. But in a way I knew that the questions they were asking. Well she was asking. The way she asked. The way I felt.
Behind him I heard a louder growl and I noticed Luke. It's Luke! My heart brightened up and I just wanted to stand up to run to him. But this woman was by my side. It made both Alpha's growl in unison. Anger evident. She had the needle close to me. I just looked at her. I didn't feel panic at all. Is this her doing? She tried moving to me and I just fell back. She falls on me and the needle gets jabbed by the bed near my face. She looks at me angrily and tries jabbing me again. But she got grabbed behind the throat. The needle in her hands and it graced my face.
I hissed at the burning sensation. It burned for some reason. My cheek went numb. I touched my cheek as it felt really hot. What the hell was in that needle? I got raised up by Jeremy and I looked at him. His eyes now a deep crimson. Beautiful yellows and oranges swirling with hints of red. It looked beautiful for some reason.
I felt a hand on my shoulder and I looked to the side noticing Luke. His eyes were a bright green with swirls of yellow and red. What mixes. I don't know why but those colors are really beautiful. A beautiful mix that I love so much. But why can't I look away. I want to keep looking at it. A bit longer though but I felt a second pair of hands around my back and I felt the amazing feeling of the bond Luke and I have.
It felt so good and I just looked at Jeremy who looks conflicted for a moment. His eyes are now flashing back and forth between those beautiful colors and light brown he had. Why is he conflicted?
"How cute... Two Alpha's and a human... Such a disgusting view" I heard the female speak with disgust
I looked at the woman as she was on the floor clutching to her arm in pain. Seeing the blood made me feel somehow sick. I wanted to vomit so badly. I have seen so much blood that now it makes me sick. I sighed out and just looked at the two males who stared at the woman with a murderous intent. This two will rip her to shreds if it wasn't because I am in their arms. I hear someone enter and I looked towards the door. There standing is Ashton and some other male. They both looked completely confused until they saw the woman on the floor.
Ashton had walked to me while the other dude went to the woman and just grabbed her by the wounded arm. Ouch. He makes her stand up and holds her tightly. The male looked at Jeremy but he was totally ignoring everyone around him. It felt kind of weird for some reason. Two men. Holding me. Being very protective. I looked at Jeremy as his eyes were on my own once again. He looks completely worried. This man is so confusing. One moment he is deep in thought. He gets mad at me. Gets annoyed at me. What is his problem?
"Jeremy... Will you release my mate?" Luke asked between gritted teeth
He blinks snapping out of a trance and speaks "Oh... Sorry..."
He slowly removes his hands form under me while Luke adjusts my body in his arms "I have missed you so much..."
"I know..." I say as I still looked at Jeremy a little more
But I had to break eye contact and just looked at Luke as he looks really worried "Some of the pack here kept telling me that you were adamant on walking to my pack with your leg all broken... Is that true?"
"Well yeah..." I say while shrugging
"Your as stubborn as when we met..." he said through a chuckle
"It's been what? Four months?" I asked him with a gentle smile
"It's going to be six but yeah... Been a while now" he says with a gentle smile
I looked at Jeremy and I say "Thank you very much Jeremy... If it wasn't for you I would have been killed..."
He looks at me shocked and then looks away I felt eyes on me and I looked at Luke "You hungry?"
"Yeah..." I say gently
I hear a tsk from the woman and I looked at her with big eyes "I almost killed you and your here acting like nothing happened!"
I shrugged as I say "Look... I got tortured and beat up while already being trapped with those hunters... I was lucky enough I didn't get raped... Though that old man insinuated about it a few times then leaving me alone in a room... I didn't even eat or drink anything... No thank you"
She looks shocked "NO! That can't be! Our leader would never stoop that low with a filth like you!"
"My mother was offering my hand in marriage to that old guy... Disgusting he must be over 40 years old and I am barely 25" I say with no care in the world as it angered me
"Your mother is doing what now?" Luke asked me
My whole body froze up and I say "Uh... I... Uh..."
"I saw those messages last time..." Ashton responded
I looked at him in shock "What? B-B..."
"Oh yeah... Scarlet also told me and Sarah looked really pissed of just at the mention of those messages" Ashton continued
An awkward smile erupts in my face as I looked at an angry Luke and I glanced at Jeremy who also looked a bit mad. Oh great. How can they be angry with something personal? People are getting very much annoyed with such personal reasons. I stayed quiet though as I didn't want to mention anything. I don't want to make things worse. I just looked around feeling completely drowned. Their eyes on me I just felt completely afraid. I looked at Ashton doing my best to glare at him and all he did was stick his tongue at me and I just felt completely annoyed even more. I wanted to be placed down but I can barely move my own leg. I glanced at my leg and just saw how dark it looked. So much bruising. My bandages were still there but now they are lose.
My body was starting to cramp up in this position so I just looked at Luke who kept his eyes on me. I can't tell him anything as the information about my mother's arrogance is fresh in his mind. I did my very best to stay quiet but his eyes are just full on black. The anger evident. I leaned away but his arms kept adjusting to my movements. Should I ask Jeremy for help? I glanced at Jeremy and he was staring at me equally as confused and angry as Luke is. Great. I looked at Ashton once again and all he did was stick his tongue once again at me. He looks away as he looked at the man he was also sticking his tongue at out. Why are they doing that? Their like little kids.
They act so different and they are to be the second strongest of their own personal packs. Like little kids. I sighed out and just looked at Luke with relaxed eyes. My cheek still numb. I just looked at the roof as I wanted to escape this awkward situation. But I can't escape. There are two Alpha who can ran as fast as a race car. Two Beta's who literally follow orders even before they get to be worded out. Men are so weird.
"I will be keeping an eye on you from now on..." Luke spoke a bit possessive
"I would still like my alone time..." I say as I crossed my arms
"After everything that has happened... No" both Luke and Jeremy say in unison
Such a headache.
