Luke had carried me inside the pack house. We were finally back home and I saw Sarah run really fast towards us. I smiled at her as she started checking my whole body. Gentle growls here and there from each wound she could find. It made me smile gently. Ashton was telling him everything on the way about what my mother had been sending me through messages. I did snap at him a few times but Scarlet also told them about my mother. It was making my whole body shake just remembering that woman. I started to feel completely numb just remembering everything she had done to me.
It is completely annoying. I just want her out of my life. I do not wish death. I do not wish torture. I do not even wish for any kind of pain. I just want her to be away from me. Far away from me. To leave me alone. Let me live my life in peace. I just want to be relaxed and live a normal life with Scarlet and everyone here. Live an actual life and just relax. Explore. Learn more about them. Jeremy wanted her dead but seeing how she easily walked pass his pack border they wanted to know what was going on and how did it happen. How was she able to slip in unnoticed into a pack of very aggressive wolves? Jeremy and Ashton think it is because her ability. A stolen ability. Ashton had explained how some hunters will operate on humans and put a body part of a being so the human can gain the ability. She was one of the successful ones and she had gained an Empaths ability to manipulate emotions and information. Evidence. The scar around her throat. She just laughed at Ashton but the slap he gave her shut her up in seconds. She looks completely shocked. Confused that her ability isn't working in her favor.
Jeremy's beta Kyle explained that once someone knows about the ability of an empath their powers do not work anymore as people would place barriers in their brain so the Empath don't manipulate the emotions. She looks at me in shocked but I just looked away. I didn't even now she was an empath to begin with. Luke stood near while he and Ashton looked at each other. Nodding once in a while. Great they are speaking in their mind. I looked at Sarah as she looked down. I looked around though. I haven't seen or heard of Oliver.
So I looked at the two idiots having a mental conversation and asked "Where is Oliver?"
Luke looks away from me and Ashton responds "He is not feeling well..."
"I don't care... Get him here..." Luke is in shocked at my response
"B-B..."
I got angry at their hesitance "I SAID GET HIM HERE!"
"Calm down Kira... You might open your wounds..." Sarah spoke and I glanced at her
She flinches "Luke if you had hurt Oliver... I will be so mad at you!"
"He was ordered to stay by your side!" he protested
I looked at him and say "I ordered him to get himself something!"
"You are not instated as a Luna yet so he cannot follow your orders!" he responds
"But they treat me as a Luna already! Oliver is like a child... If I see him hurt I..." I groaned out loudly
I forced myself to stand up "Ki..."
"Kira nothing!" I glared at him as I felt the tears about to burst out
"Kira... Please... Your going to hurt yourself more" Sarah tries to protect me
I looked at her "I don't care... I ran for hours... I fought for dear life... All I could think about is I fucked up! I wanted to know if Oliver is alright! About Luke being mad at me! Is all I could think about all that time... I found children and in my heart seeing Oliver I see him as a child... And I don't even know his age..."
Luke looks at me and then he looks to the floor "K-Kira..."
I hear the shaky voice of Oliver I looked to the elevator and saw Oliver with a bandage on his face and head. Tears slide down. Did Luke hurt him? Did the hunters hurt me when I blacked out? Did he get hurt looking for me? Did he punish himself? What happened? I tried walking to him but Sarah stops me. Oh Oliver. He looks at me with wide eyes. He looks very much worried but I can see the tears glide down his eyes. He slowly walks to me but he was looking down. Does he feel ashamed? I escaped from Sarah's grasp and I jogged to him. It was hard but I did it.
He looks up in shock and I hugged him to me. This is all my fault in the end. He got hurt because of me. He got hurt. I didn't want him getting hurt. I touched his face but he flinched. I felt my start to ache because I am an idiot but I needed to check him myself. I unwrapped his bandage around his head and I could slowly see a scar. A scratch with a mix of burn. It looks as if someone burned him. Was it the hunters? Did they do this to him? I felt like crying more. He must have chased after them and got hurt. The bandages glide out of his face and I saw a scratch across his eye and a burn like scar on top of it. He couldn't even open his eye.
"Oh I am so sorry Oliver... How?" I asked him worriedly
He sighs out and explained gently as I touched his scar "Once they did what they did to you... They took a chance and threw acid I wasn't fast enough to dodge it... Luckily Jasmine came quickly once I signaled danger... People were calling an ambulance and the police while surrounding me so Jasmine had to carry me to the car and act like she was taking me to the hospital... Police arrived and took testaments..."
"Ok... That explains the burn but these..." I rub my thumb over the scratches
"Once Luke found out... You were taken away... Jonathan Ashton and I tried calming him down and... We all got hurt..." once he told me that part I looked at Luke
He looks down sadly and I then looked at Ashton "Show me..."
"I..."
Before he could say anything I said again "Do not make me repeat myself..."
Ashton looks at Luke but I cleared my throat so he raised his shirt and I saw the bruise with a few gentle scratches. I sighed out and just crossed my arms. I wipe the tears away as I just stared at Luke who isn't even staring at me anymore. He let his emotions take control of him and he hurt the people close to him. I could still feel Sarah's arm around me as she was now helping me stay standing. I looked at Sarah and saw the little bruise by her hair. I grabbed her face and move her hair to the side. She tried struggling away but she was in shock though so all she did was fall back and her hair revealed the bruise by her forehead.
She is also hurt. She covers it with her hand as she looks completely shocked. My hands were shacking this time. Did he also hurt Sarah in his moment of rage? My leg was about to give out so I placed all my body weight onto my good leg. I could feel the eyes on me and I looked up. Luke's eyes were really light. I sighed out. I crossed my arms once again and I looked at Ashton. I only saw three peoples wounds. I am missing the person named Jonathan. In the end Luke's rage is all my fault. I should have listened to Oliver. I should have stayed by his side. I should have just waited for him even if I died of boredom from all the clothing.
It's all my fault in the end. They all got hurt because of me. Luke must have been so angry. So enraged. He got blinded. It is no excuse to have hurt his family like that. But he did but all because hunters had kidnapped me.
"I... I want to meet this Jonathan..." I say as I looked away
"H-He went for a run..." Sarah responds
"Tell him to come back..." I say a bit lowly
"He needs fresh away Kira... Let him run..." Ashton spoke
I looked up angry and asked a bit angry "Did Luke apologize for his moment of rage?"
"H-He doesn't have to Luna... It wasn't his fault..." Ashton tried defending
I looked at Luke and I say "Even if it wasn't his fault... His claws still hurt you guys... And even now it is my fault as well I will apologize also... We both will... You guys got hurt... Oliver the most as he got literally acid to the face and on the same wound claws..."
Luke looks up to me in shock "So... So your not mad at me?"
"Oh I am even mad at myself... I blame myself for all of this... It's my fault you got angry... It's my fault Oliver got hurt... I blame myself for all of this..." I tell him in seconds
"Jonathan should be arriving shortly" Sarah responds gently
I looked at her and say with a gentle smile "Thank you..."
"But none of this is your fault!" Sarah snaps at me
I looked at her in shock "In the end it is my fault..."
"No... Those hunters are to blame!" she gets angry
Her eyes turn like amber. A golden yellow. I didn't know how to respond this time. But once I took just one step I almost fell face first. Luke was holding my around my waist. I looked back to him as he was looking at me worriedly. His eyes were light. A light brown. I can see the dark bags under his eyes. He must have been missing so many days of sleep. I still blame myself for all of this. Nobody can tell me other wise.
All this wounds are of my own actions.
