Chapter 58 - Heart Pagoda Part 3

Somewhere underground

Xu Yue could be seen walking inside of a tunnel, hundreds of dead bodies littered the around as she slowly reached the end of the tunnel

Xu Yue then looked at the small library at the end of the tunnel and smiled. She then took one of the books and sat down on a nearby chair.

A terrifying aura existed inside the library, but it seemed as if it made Xu Yue even more energetic than.

Three months later,

Chu Feng looked at the items in front of him with a smile on his face, collecting them without attracting too much attention had been, troublesome, but if they could help to the Goddess, it would be all worth it.

The several dozen martial artists from before stood behind him, all of their eyes were red as well, only compared to Chu Feng, their eyes seemed a bit diferent.

After this, Chu Feng began waiting for the Goddess to arrive.

Three days later,

Chu Feng and his followers were kneeling on the ground reverently, worshiping the Goddess that had arrived here.

"Give them to me," said Xu Yue impatiently.

As soon as she said this, Chu Feng took out a small gourd. His followers then began taking out several weird items as well.

"Good," said Xu Yue as she smelled the inside of the gourd with a smile on her face.

"Follow me," said Xu Yue as she began walking in a certain direction.

Two days later,

As she saw the town in front of them, a smile appeared on Xu Yue's face, this was the most, secluded town in the region.

"This should be enough," thought Xu Yue.

The group then walked towards the forest near of the town.

"Create a clearing," said Xu Yue while looking at the area in front of her.

Chu Feng immediately took out his sword and began cutting, even a thick tree would fall by a mere slash of his sword. It only took a few minutes for a relatively large clearing to be created.

"Give me the virgin blood," said Xu Yue as she looked at the clearing.

Thirty minutes later,

Using several special ingredients, an altar was created, Xu Yue took out a knife and cut her hand, blood falling on the altar.

"Good," mumbled Xu Yue as she felt her connection to the altar.

A few hours later,

After a few hours of preparations, the town was surrounded by four rituals situated in different directions.

Right now, Xu Yue was walking alone in the center of the town, looking at the lively townspeople.

"Big Sister, you are so pretty," said a little girl with a steamed bun in her hands.

A smile appeared on Xu Yue's face as she looked at the girl.

"You are also really cute," said Xu Yue as she ruffled the hair of the girl.

"What's your name?" asked Xu Yue with a smile on her face.

"Ming Yun," said the little girl said, the smile on her face a little bit brighter.

"My name is Xu Yue, you should remember it Ming Yun," said Xu Yue.

"Yes, Big Sister Yue," said Ming Yun.

"I am going to need a little bit of your help later," said Xu Yue, for some reason the smile on her face had become more exaggerated.

"Yes, Big Sister," said Ming Yun as she hugged Xu Yue's waist.

Ming Yun's body, alongside everyone else's in this town, began drying up.

"What's happening, Big Sister Yue?" asked Ming Yun, with a fear-filled face.

"Don't worry, when you wake up, everything will be fine," said Xu Yue as she gave Ming Yun a kiss on the forehead, putting her to sleep.

As Ming Yun began sleeping, a transformation began taking place in Xu Yue, she began shedding her skin. If her old skin had a semblance of humanity left, the new one seemed inhuman.

There was only one reason it seemed that was, it was too perfect. Right now, Xu Yue's perfect skin seemed to not be fit for a mere human.

Xu Yue also felt like her robe was a bit tight right now.

She then looked at the now dead Ming Yun, a smile appearing on her face.

She then reached down and gave her a kiss on what was left of the girl's forehead. after that, Ming Yun's body began transforming. The first thing that happened was that her nearly dead body from before regenerated itself.

There were still some differences compared to before. If before Ming Yun was a powerless little girl, right now, under her skinny body, lay great strength, of course, Xu Yue did not create this strength out of nothing, the girl always had the potential to achieve it.

Two years later,

Xu Yue and Ming Yun were walking through a lively town, being followed by Chu Feng.

A smile appeared on Xu Yue's face as the entire town started dying. Feeling the lifeforce enter her body and transform it was an exhilarating experience.

Xu Yue then disappeared.

Yao Zhen was shocked when the target suddenly disappeared, he then tried to dodge, but it was too late, as a fist punched him in the stomach, throwing him back and making him smash through a few trees.

"This is not an Innate Grandmaster level demon, I still have a chance," thought Yao Zhen as he looked at his subordinates who were being demolished by the demon.

He then took out a small bell with a glowing aura around it, throwing it toward one of his subordinates that was not yet fighting.

Yao Zhen then took out his sword and let out a slash with everything he had, with his strenght as a Peak Master the speed of the slash was far beyond human comprehension, but still, it was too slow, even though Xu Yue felt slightly uncomfortable because of the bell, she still easily dodged the attack.

Yao Zhen then lost consciousness as his body was dismembered by the uncomfortable Xu Yue.

A few minutes later,

Xu Yue frowned as she looked at the gold bell in her hand, although, unlike lesser demons, her strength was not weakened by it, but she still felt uncomfortable as she held it.

It seemed as if Xu Yue had sensed something. She then threw away the bell and leisurely walked back to the now-dead town.

Three days later,

An old monk entered the town. He chanted sutras as he walked in a certain direction, dispelling the dark aura around the town.

He then stopped and walked in a very particular direction.

A few seconds later,

The monk bent down as he picked up the golden bell, it seemed as if the monk knew where the bell was from the very beginning.

In another location,

"I should avoid the area where the Shaolin Temple is active for now," thought Xu Yue as her plans were slightly altered for now.

Ten years later,

Chu Feng, alongside more than a thousand cloaked figures, was kneeling, worshiping a statue that was more than ten meters tall, Ming Yun stood next to the statue as if protecting it for some reason.

"I need a big push," mumbled Xu Yue as she felt the strength of her body reach a limit. After the beginning, Xu Yue had become more cautious about how she operated, but she would not need to do that any longer.

She then licked her lips as she looked at the bustling city in front of her.
