A young Xu Yue looked at the woman in front of her with a smile on her face.
"What's your name, big sister?" asked Xu Yue, unconsciously looking at the woman's chest.
"My name is Bing Yue," said Bing Yue as she bent over and looked at the little girl in front of her.
"Big sister Yue, are you here to take me away?" asked Xu Yue with a mischievous smile on her face.
"You are so smart," said Bing Yue as she ruffled Xu Yue's hair.
"Let's go," said Bing Yue as she began slowly walking in a certain direction.
Xu Yue followed, as her father had already informed her of who would take her away to become a disciple of the Heavenly Sword sect.
Three months later,
Xu Yue was swinging her sword with great fervor. As the two of them traveled, Bing Yue had taught Xu Yue some sword techniques, which the girl had picked up at a rapid pace. Right now, she had already become a 3rd rank martial artist.
Six months later,
Looking at the secluded mountain in front of her, Xu Yue couldn't help but wonder if this was really the Headquarters of the Heavenly Sword sect.
She looked at Bing Yue with a questioning look on her face.
A smile appeared on Bing Yun's face as she saw this.
"Follow me," said Bing Yun,
After this, the two of them began walking in the mountains. After around an hour, they reached a clearing. Inside of the clearing stood a dozen pavillions.
Looking at a few buildings, Xu Yue couldn't help but think of the description of the sect her father had given her.
"This sect is extremely reclusive and strict with who they accept as disciples. It became this way after one of their ancestors was killed by the Life Goddess around a thousand years ago."
Looking at the small number of buildings, Xu Yue couldn't help but agree with her father's description.
Ten years later,
A teenage Xu Yue sat cross-legged, and in front of her stood an old man.
"Yue'ere, you should go to the outside world at least a few times to gain experience," said the old man, even though he already knew Xu Yue's response.
"Teacher, I will just stay here until my strength reaches a bottleneck," said Xu Yue.
Hearing this, the old man sighed.
"I understand," said the old man, accepting that Xu Yue would just stay here. He then exited the room.
"Old man, how can you understand my greatness," mumbled Xu Yue narcissistically.
"Going outside will only disrupt my training," though Xu Yue, when she had first heard of the lifespan of Innate Grandmasters, she had become focused on increasing her lifespan and living as long as possible.
A few minutes later,
A voluptuous woman entered the room and looked at Xu Yue.
A smile appeared on Xu Yue's face as she saw her.
"Big sister Bing," said Xu Yue as she hugged the woman.
"Little Yue, don't be naughty," said Bing Yue as she stopped Xu Yue's hands from roaming around.
"Big Sister, why are you so conservative?" asked Xu Yue as she retracted her hands.
A smile appeared on Bing Yue's face as she heard this. She bent down and looked at Xu Yue.
"I'm not so shameless as to eat a little rabbit like you," whispered Bing Yun lightly as she looked at Xu Yue with a smile.
After hearing this, Xu Yue pushed Bing Yun outside and closed the door in her face. After that, she went back to training her swordsmanship so as to calm down her mind.
Seven years later,
"Teacher, I want to go down the mountain," said Xu Yue as she was sitting down crosslegged.
"I understand," said the old man, but even so, a shocked expression still appeared on his face.
After hearing this, Xu Yue sat up and exited the room. She then began to walk in a perticular direction as if she had a mission.
After she knocked on the door of Bing Yue's room, Xu Yue directly walked in.
A pale look appeared on Bing Yue's face as soon as she saw Xu Yue. Up until three years ago, she had been teasing Xu Yue nonstop, but after that, she had begun being bullied by her.
After getting a bit closer, Xu Yue overbearingly took Bing Yue by the waist.
Twelve hours later,
Xu Yue was walking down the mountain with an energetic look on her face. She then closed her eyes and began searching for it.
A few days before, Xu Yue had a feeling like something was calling her. She later realized that something truly was calling her.
After this, Xu Yue began walking in the direction of the feeling. Even though she merely walked, her speed was extremely great.
After several days,
Xu Yue seemed uncertain as she looked at the cave entrance in front of her, but still, she gritted her teeth and entered it.
As she walked through the cave, she was shocked to hear several sets of footsteps.
She immediately disappeared from sight.
Three men with masks over their faces and black robes covering their bodies walked towards the outside of the cave.
After they left, Xu Yue continued going further inside of the cave, the call becoming stronger and stronger.
Looking at the scene in front of her, Xu Yue couldn't help but be shocked.
A vast hall stood empty as a giant statue lay in the middle. Taking a closer look at the statue, Xu Yue could see the great similarities with herself. As she got closer to it, she could see things more clearly. The similarities were frightening. The only odd thing was the small human-sized statue at the feet of the giant one.
She then looked up, seeing the closed eyes of the statue. An entranced look appeared on Xu Yue's face. She then immediately woke up from the trance as a wary look appeared on her face.
A chill appeared in Xu Yue's heart. Just as she wanted to escape, the statue's eyes suddenly opened.
