Chapter 8 - Chapter 08 - Winnie Pooh.

They, Samura, and Lora explored a quarter around the lake. They Could not go to the other side of the lake as they already had spent nearly 4 hours around the lake strolling and wondering. Half around of the lake was covered with a forest while the other half was open to the cafe sight.

"I would love to go in. It's sad we don't have enough time." Lora whined. "If I had known this earlier, I would not have told my mother we would come for the dinner," told Samura melancholy.

"Nope, it's definitely okay. I waited a month for this. We can dig into the forest next month if we haven't died by then." Samura giggled. "Yeah, sure," she added. Lora held Samura's arm with both hands while they walked out from the lakeside through a narrow path between two high buildings, which exited to the town road.

Lora was truly happy more than other days. There was not the nasty warden, whose eyes always followed Lora, Raluca who was a mental burden to Lora, All the other students who were not friends with Lora, And her father's damn rules which caged her.

The school was her cage, she was trapped inside. And Samura was happier than Lora, looking at how Lora was spending her day more happily than on other days. She could not say Lora was happier but at least this much is enough compared to what she was.

"Oh look!" Suddenly, Lora screamed, terrorizing Samura as she was in deep thought. She looked where Lora was pointing. It was a Ferris wheel. A giant one.

"I could not remember there was a Ferris wheel in the past month." Samura narrowed her eyes. "Me neither. But, can't we go there? Please... please... ah?" It was she and her puppy eyes against Lora.

"Since we have no plan either, I guess." Samura winked, smiling. Lora's eyes were literary shimmering like a baby got permission from her mother, a spoiled child by Samura.

It was quite a long walk than they thought. It seemed to appear near their eyes because of the giant Ferris wheel. Since the time was close to the lunch, they thought to grab something at the carnival. Yet again it was an idea of Lora that Samura accepted without even thinking twice. Lora asked something, and Samura said yes. That was the circle. It went without saying Samura was spoiling Lora.

They were getting near to the carnival. suddenly, Lora screamed again next to Samura's ear. She took a step back, tilting her head with her widened eyes. "What is now?" She was not mad but a little bit, because in her ear Lora's voice was still echoing.

"Look over there, do you still remember him?" Lora showed an old man behind a cart decorated with some lights, in the middle of two maple trees.

"Wow! And why not Lora?" She asked pulling her eyebrows together. "Do you want to try something from there?" Samura suggested.

"Yeah, sure I would never say no to his food." Lora agreed in a millisecond.

Crossing the road they went close to the food cart. It was a holiday weekend but there were not many vehicles possibly compared to a normal weekday.

They got near the cart like running before people started to fill around the cart. 'Winne Pooh street food' was famous in that town. Street food was always a famous thing but Winnie Pooh's was the best among them.

When they got there running a little bit, there were some people waiting for their order. By the time Winnie Pooh saw these two girls he smiled broadly and it was such a happy face to see them again. Everyone called him Winnie Pooh since it was the name on the board but actually, the fact is no one knew his real name except those two girls; Lora and Samura.

No wonder he got such a lovely and nice smile whenever he saw them. No one cared about Winnie Pooh except will he made their food. No one knew about the grief he hid within the nice smile he had put on every time. But, apart from the rest Lora saw it, the grief he desperately hid.

Lora was no different than him. That's how she managed to acknowledge other's sorrows even though she could not with hers.

"What do these little misses want?" Antoine Boston also known as Winnie Pooh asked them.

"Let me guess. Mmm... Mmm..." Before they replied he said making a thinking face, tapping his chin with one finger. They giggled at his actions.

"You will say you can't think of one thing and if you can you will eat the whole menu. Am I right little misses?" Lora and Samura looked at each other and Lora gave a deep sniff while lifting her chin with satisfaction.

"You surely know us very well, sir." Lora acted with him. they all laughed.

"If this is the case, you are more welcome to try my new recipe." Winnie Pooh suggested them.

"We are more welcome to be served by your new thing," said Lora and Samura nodded agreeing with her. "Okay then, come here." They exactly knew what he meant by 'come here'. They went behind the food cart and sat on the wood bench. By 'come here', Winnie Pooh meant that his recipe was not on the menu or it was not an item he served others.

"Will you be able to wait for a few minutes little misses?" Turning his head while making a sandwich for a customer, he asked them. They both nodded.

"While you are waiting, You can enjoy this." Taking the cap of two bottles and placing straws, he gave them a drink.

He was in this cart for 14 hours from 10 am to 12 am every day and he went only for grocery shopping. He enjoyed his own companion but he had friends everywhere. Not exactly friends but some people he knew. He made and had made a lot of recipes and according to Lora and Samura, they should be as delicious as the food on the cart and the food he gave Lora and Samura.

"Okay!" Lora and Samura looked at Winnie Pooh. "Thank you for your patience, little misses. Here is your food." With the smell and the look of their plates, it appeared to be delicious. They knew it before eating it and they did not have any doubt about that.

"Today's recipe is inspired by Korean street food." He stood professional chef in front of them and began to explain what their dishes were. This is Korean street toast, he showed the sandwich. Made with egg, vegetables, ham, ketchup, mayo, and cheese on buttery toasted bread. And this is Korean chicken nuggets, he pointed the another. Made of crispy, bite-sized pieces of boneless chicken thigh that are coated in a sweet and spicy sauce.

I made this yesterday actually. He gave them another thing that looked like garlic bread. This is Korean cream cheese garlic bread, the blend of sweet cream cheese, garlic butter, and melted cheese on store-bought rolls. They all, Winnie Pooh gave them, looked mouth-watering.

"Try it, little misses. I'm off to serve my customers and don't forget to comment about them." Waving them he went into the cart.

"Definitely won't forget." Screamed Samura.

"I don't have any patience inside me to waste another second looking at these sweeties calling me to eat them." Lora swallowed her saliva.

They first took the street toast. With the first bite, their eyes widened. Samura ate it desperately while Lora enjoyed it little by little awaking her every taste bud.

Finishing it they took the chicken nuggets. It was also delicious. Lora took her garlic bread and breaking a slice of it, she placed a piece of nugget and sauce of the nuggets on it. It hit really different taste filled with happiness and enjoyment. They enjoyed the meal more than anything.

"How was that?" After sending his customers happily, Winnie Pooh asked them.

"Marvales," Samura commented. He had a satisfied smile on his face.

"Don't ask me these dishes made me speechless," Lora told when he turned at her before he asked anything while touching her stomach.
