Chapter 14 - Chapter 14 - A Free Day.

Lora was peacefully walking around the building named 'The Sun', which had every class. First, she went toward a vending machine and grabbed a peach drink. It was somehow her favorite drink after hot chocolate. Every corridor of that building had a vending machine. It was not just a college. After all, the college was Highness Royal College.

There was a formal methodology to recruit a student to the college. No one could easily come to the college nor the college did approve anyone to enter the college. A student or the parents should have a state in the country and should have some intelligence level. If someone had a state but the intelligence level matched the college, they did not recruit that student. If someone had the intelligence level but not the state they did not accept him.

The college never gave scholarships. But there was something strange about the system of the college that Lora could not understand. She always thought about it but no matter how hard she thought she could not find it. She also said that to Samura. They thought about it together but neither Samura understood anything.

"Mmm... This is the perfect taste for a relaxing moment." Lora mumbled herself. She leaned on the short corridor wall placing her arms on it. She had her side bag hanging crossed over her body.

"I am totally free now. This is the best day ever in my life." Lora sent a text to Samura. Samura's phone in her bag beeped. But she could not hear it as she was in a serious situation.

She was fencing against the best fencer at their college. The situation occurred suddenly as they were practicing for a grand upcoming tournament. The tournament was due to be a week ahead. No one expected that the selection would be today since the coaches selected the candidates two days before the tournament.

Samura never thought she would be selected as a pending candidate for this year's tournament. On one side, she was utterly happy and on the other side, she was frustrated that thinking if she would be able to be a candidate.

She wanted to talk to Lora before her competition but thought it would be impossible to talk to her as she had a class. But the truth was Lora got free from her class. It could not be free because she loved her literature class so much but it was unexpected because she never got a chance to run away from her timetable even for a once.

Lora was happily experiencing new things after she met Samura. She identified new versions of her. She knew that the happiness would not last forever. Sometimes she got to bear the pain. For the whole time, she lived in that world she bore the pain others gave her without a single mistake from her.

Lastly, when she got to be happy she remembered all the pain and did not be happy more forgetting things. Remembering all the grieves she had and had passed through she enjoyed every moment she could enjoy wholeheartedly, so she could enjoy and remember those moments when she got her heart broken.

Lora wandered alone in the building and there was not anything interesting so she went to the ground floor to go to the moon building. On the way, when she was going down the staircase, she saw Raluca entering the building. Lora quickly went up the staircase and hid in the first class she saw. Raluca and her fellows did not see her.

She slowly peeked into the staircase covered by the wall without getting noticed. But she did not know that there was someone in that classroom except her. The person who was there was really shocked when Lora rampaged into the classroom and peeked outside. He went near her and stood behind her.

"Don't come here. Don't come here." Lora mumbled to herself. The person behind Lora had a wide smile on his face. He was looking at what she was doing with tying his hands behind his back.

"What are you looking at?" When Raluca was near the classroom, the person behind her peeked outside over Lora's shoulder asking.

Lora was shocked more than that person but instantly she pushed that person covering his mouth. Pushing him, Lora hid between the half-closed door and the wall. The person was shocked again. His eyes were wide open and he could not utter a word by the shock he got. She still did not see the person as she was looking outside of the classroom if Raluca saw or heard him.

When she saw Raluca passing the classroom without giving any attention she sighed.

"Mmm... Mmm..." That person said but nothing was cleared just a mumbling sound. Then Lora remembered what she had done. Her eyes widened and instantly she got the hand from his mouth.

"You?" Lora shouted. "What are you doing here?" She lowered her sound remembering Raluca.

"I was just roaming and I saw this class was empty and those paintings are so beautiful." His eyes lit up when he looked at the paintings.

"What was your name again?" Lora asked him crossing her arms.

"Seriously?" The light of his eyes had dimmed and he asked confusingly. "It was even an hour ago I told you my name."

"Okay so?" Lora shrugged her shoulders. "I can't remember names when I first encounter someone. It takes time." She rolled her eyes.

"Seriously, Okay. Then tell me how much time will your little pig brain need to remember my name?" He flicked a finger on Lora's forehead.

"How dare you!" Lora turned red with anger and clenched her fist. Lora was a little girl in front of him. He was taller than her. She stood from her toes to be near his face.

"Noah." He chuckled at her. Lora got angrier.

"Maybe you should eat more to gain more height, baby" Clenching her fist even more tightly Lora hit his chest. It was powerful and unexpected. He placed his hand on his chest. His expressions were so much pain. Noah groaned a little.

Lora was afraid. Even though she hit Noah she did not expect it to be that painful.

"Are you okay?" Lora sat him on a chair and gave him her water bottle.

"Yeah, it's okay. You indeed are more powerful than I thought. That hit! I almost died." He said.

"I... I'm sorry. I did not mean it. I'm really really sorry." Lora was about to cry. She had got tiny tears in her eyes.

"No, no. I'm okay." Noah stood so fast. He felt sad and guilty when he saw tears in her eyes. "I'm so much stronger than you think okay?" Noah patted Lora's head even though the pain still remained slight.

A teardrop fell from Lora's eye. Noah felt more pain seeing her tears than his pain.

"I'm sorry." Lora actually did not mean to harm Noah so she felt sad and she could not stop her tears.

"Hey..." Noah took Lora's face into his hands, placing his hands on her cheeks. He lifted her head to his eyesight to look at Lora since she was downing her eyes. Even after he did it she did not look at him. She was clenching her skirt with her both hands.

"Good girls don't cry," Noah looked into her eyes. Lora could not lift her eyes to look at him. "You did not do anything wrong. It's just a hit! Don't cry over nothing okay?" He was like a boy comforting a little girl.

"I didn't cry over anything. I... I..." Lora looked at him but she could not say anything more than that. She was locked into his eyes. In those eyes, there were so many emotions. His eyes moved with hers. He smiled softly and gently wiped away her tears with his thumbs.

"Don't cry. Your eyes are beautiful with tears. They are more beautiful when tears aren't there. So, don't cry again."

His voice was so gentle and soft. And there were so many emotions filled in his manly voice.
