Last night when Leigh and Vhaken left Nightime, Farley felt something odd, at a glance he saw a black mist surrounding vhaken's body. He squinted his eyes, seeing once again clearly but the mist was gone.
Vhaken's car sped out of the parking lot and drove onto the highway at a normal speed.
He put his hand in his pocket to fist out his cell phone. He looked through the chat app history, tapped on Sentia's name, and there he found Leigh's home address.
He walked towards his sports car. Go inside, immediately leave the Nightime to the same road as the direction Vhaken's car went. He kept his distance so as not to appear following them from behind.
When he entered the housing complex, he slowly drove his car. The car stopped a few yards from Leigh's house. Turn off the car engine. He sat there watching Vhaken lead Leigh into the house.
The living room light on. He's assuming Vhaken is igniting. then one room turns on but only seconds later turns off again. After that the lights in another room turn on, after 10 minutes the lights in that room turn off, he assumed, the last room was Leigh's bedroom.
He waited patiently, he thought that soon after Vhaken would come out and go home. Too bad the living room lights turn off without him leaving the house. His jaw hardened. He gets out of the car and locks it.
He walked to Leigh's house, as he reached her front door house. He held the door handle, only for a moment there was a click sound could be heard. He slowly opened the door without making a sound. He walked in, and there he saw again the black mist surrounding Vhaken's body. He walks towards him. Stopped a meter above his head, observing.
Deep frown on his forehead. See what happened. he glanced for a moment in what he believed to be the room where Leigh was sleeping. A second later, he turned back to Vhaken who was lying on the sofa. He was struggling to defeat the magic power that enveloped him. His body almost moves, if his hands do not quickly make the movement. A beam shot out of his hand and flew towards Vhaken. In an instant the black mist disappeared. And he was fast asleep.
After making sure everything is safe, under control. Farley, stepping out of Leigh's house, walked to his car which was parked across several houses from her house. Arriving at his car door. He opened the door and hop in. Then he started the car engine and drove away from the housing complex.
The car continued to drive on the dark road at night. The highway looks wide, there are only a few cars passing it from the opposite direction. His mind, thinking hard about what happened. what power enveloped Vhaken, but he felt he knew that power. The power that had been thousands of years did not intersect with him. And survived thousands of years anyway, nothing happened, more precisely no magical power appeared before him. Then why only now appears again. What is really happening.
He looked at the car clock, it was 2 o'clock in the morning. The car kept going, passing the neon lights one after another. Until his car stopped in front of a modern house, surrounded by vast fields with unkempt wild plants.
He gets down from the car. Walk towards the front door. Then pressed the doorbell. A minute later the door opened. Sentia's figure appeared behind the door with one hand rubbing her eyes, which were dazzled by the light of the lamp on her terrace.
Eyes narrowed sharply, when she saw Farley standing in front of her house with a tense and dark face. "Farley, what are you doing here?" she asked curiously, even though she knew something had happened. He wouldn't appear in front of her house at a time like this with such a dark face, sending chills down her spine.
"I need to go to Yannick now" he said curtly and then he told her what had happened. "Can you check on Vhaken tomorrow morning?" he asked after he had finished telling her everything.
"Yeah, sure, you can count on me!" she remarked emphatically. "When will you be back?" she asked, because she knew that tomorrow there would be a final meeting with a stalled project and he had to attend the meeting.
"I'll try to return as soon as possible, but if tomorrow morning I'm not back. Can you find someone on my team to replace me?" he answered uncertainly, for indeed he did not know for sure how long he could do what he wanted to do. He hoped that what he felt tonight was just a coincidence.
"Hmm do they know how far this project has been handled?" she asked worriedly. The last meeting present was only Farley and he had not discussed it with the others.
"I will send the data to you, the only change is Leigh. The others also have other project meetings that are no less important," a suggestion that seemed uncertain came from his voice.
"Are you sure? She's only been in the office one day, you think she can handle it?"
"I hope so"
"Okay then, be careful, always on alert" she warned him sternly. Because she herself was also worried.
"Make sure, tomorrow you check on Vhaken" Farley warned her again. He always looked around and made sure nothing bad happened. he always dispels anything that disturbs the peace of the company, especially his master.
And after saying that, he disappeared from there. Like he's never been there from the start. Sentia saw her partner had left, she closed the door. Walked into her bedroom, not to sleep again, But to the table in the corner of the room. She made a mini office in her bedroom if something like this had happened. Because the things that just happened require special attention from her.
She opened her laptop which was lying on the table. Pressing the power button, after the screen on and ready to use. She opened the camera app. After she clicked, the screens that appeared after that were several small camera screens recording the events in that place.
She clicked the screen on the Nightime camera. Yes, Nightime, is actually one of the companies that was opened by her master, to support and build the spirit of his employees. They can go there at any time, by getting a discount much cheaper than other customers in general. And if they enjoy there without remembering the time, and the night is too late, they can stay there until morning.
Sentia, replayed the camera footage while Farley's team was there. And also, Farley was given her the exact time when it happened. As the camera footage replays, she watches Vhaken is walking towards his car while guiding Leigh. And there she saw the same black mist that Farley was talking about.
Actually, ordinary cameras can't record the magical events that occur. But with her special eyes she could see through certain media. Her Heart beating fast. This was the first magical power she had seen after thousands of years had passed. She only hoped that Farley could confirm it without any untoward things happening.
