This made Deacon even more angry, he clenched his palms tightly. He thought he shouldn't get carried away by an emotion that would destroy everything, so he let go of his fist, smiling at Farley.
"Sentia, you don't mind bringing Leigh out of here, right?" he spoke to Sentia in an even voice but held meaning in it. And Sentia knew what she had to do.
"Come Leigh" she grabbed Leigh's arm, guiding her out of the restroom.
Leigh thought she would bring her bcak to the dinner table again, but her prediction was wrong. Sentia took her to the car, and not Vhaken's car but Farley's car, they were waiting for him there.
"Sentia, why you brought me here. Should we go inside and continue our dinner?" she asked surprised by Sentia's attitude, she sat beside her, but her eyes were looking towards the entrance of the restaurant, tightly
"I am afraid we cannot do that dear" she answered without turning to look at her. As if the restaurant door is an interesting thing to look at.
"Why I am in Farley car, should I be on Vhaken car. How about the other, where are they?" she became increasingly confused, her panic did not make her silent, but instead made her think of someone else.
"Don't worry about that, I sent them home and we will send you home too. Just sit and relax, alright" only now did Sentia turn her gaze and look at her with a small smile. She raised her right hand and placed it against Leigh's pale cheek, trying to coax her to calm down.
Leigh thinking hard about everything that had happened, her brows furrowed together as she remembered Deacon's words 'You shouldn't have won the project tender or should I say, you shouldn't have come to the meeting today' what did he mean by that? Did she accidentally do something she wasn't aware of? First, Farley suddenly had important matter to take care of, that prevented him from attending the project meeting, there were three other team members whose working hours were much longer than her, why was she is the one chosen and told to attend the meeting. Second, what's wrong with the project, why can't she win the project, even though the project was handled by Farley before she joined the Yannick corporation. So, it's not a coincidence. Third, from this afternoon Deacon himself had been targeting her, by attacking her with her case at the Mentay Corporation. Which in the end was saved by the tender Client by revealing the reason she was fired. And from the look on his face at that time, it turned dark and terrible. She became more confused.
Who should I ask? She turned to Sentia who was still staring intently at the entrance of the restaurant. She was the one who appointed her to take over the project meeting, so, she should have known what was going on. but she hesitated to ask, later she would thought negatively about her, even though these 2 days she told herself that she was working with the best team she had ever had. Hmm there is better do not ask now. She just sat there, silent.
Silence pervaded the atmosphere in the car. Sentia doesn't talk much like she usually does in the office. she became a completely silence person, sitting in the corner of car seat, like a statue. Occasionally she blinked her eyes while look at the entrance door.
Meanwhile, in the ladies' restroom. Deacon still stood there, indifferent. The contours of his face, which had been red, disappeared without a trace. He wore his usual flat face and serious demeanour.
"What do you want Deacon?" Farley asked him, his face now completely changed, from a sweet smile, to an even, dark, and eerie one. He looked up at him with a dagger glare, as Sentia and Leigh were already out of their reach. He stood facing Deacon with his arms folded across his chest, arrogantly.
Deacons could feel the atmosphere around them plummeting, turning cold as cold as winter air below, far below degrees Celsius in normal cold weather. He felt that Farley who was in front of him now, was a figure full of intimidation, not afraid of anything other than his master, of course because he was second to his master. The second strongest person of his master. And a trusted person by his Master. He knew very well how Farley was doing. How he handles the problem, he will handle it as neatly and efficiently as possible. He would not think twice about eliminating his enemy if it was a necessaries act, so as not to cause problems in the future. So, here he is, the real Farley, cold, dark, intimidating, cruel and even sadistic, all the opposite of his attitude he displays in the business world, getting along with humans, as much as possible following the human style of socializing. But at other times he can never get rid of his true nature.
"I just want to get along with her, can I?" Deacon asks with nonchalant voice, trying not to feel intimidated by Farley's attitude and to seal his aim there. He smiled casually, as if he had done nothing wrong from the start.
"In here, in the ladies restroom. To have a private talk, I don't think so" he remarked firmly with a firm voice. "You better get away from her, this is the first and the last warning" and this is where Farley's character is, he will not give a second chance to anyone who he thinks threatens the peace of his territory. He turned and was about to leave, but Deacon's question stopped him in his tracks.
"Why? Is it because she is a precious one to your master?" this thought crossed his mind when he thought about the possible reasons why his Lady wanted that woman so badly. It must have something to do with his Master. Everything to do with his Lady will go towards his Master. Even these two days her protective nature was getting crazy and made no sense at all. Making Ociel tense up and talk to him in an overabundance, holding back anger.
"Why do you care?" Farley retorted back with question when he already turns back and face him. He glares at him sharply and dark gaze.
"Just suspicious" Deacon replied still nonchalantly. He maintained such an attitude that he would not look small to Farley's eyes, but inside, his heart was beating fast, his body was shaking, and he was trying not to fall to the floor of the restroom.
Farley had a dark grin, his gaze growing darker, sharp and cold staring intently into Deacon's eyes, leaving no room for jokes. "Suspicious will ended by death" with that sentence had said. Farley's movement was as fast as lightning, lightning that flashed from the sky to earth ground and left no residue, only scorch and black dust. Deacon didn't see it coming. Farley's hand struck right at Deacon's neck even though the attack space wasn't that big, but he hit his target with one neat slash. His hand is like a very sharp sword. The next second Deacon's head was rolling across the restroom floor. Lifeless.
Farley did so without batting an eye, satisfied with what lay before him. With a flick of his right hand. Deacon's body and head were scorched and disappeared without a trace. It was as if he had never been there at the first place
