Their moans sync with each other. Jeremy thrust harder, groaning, holding to her hips tightly, nearly scraping his long fingernails to her flawless skin. Both of them assured the door's locked, and no one would come in to intrude their heated exchange.
Jeremy screamed out as they reached the climax. Tina couldn't help but to spread her legs apart, couldn't move an inch, and let Jeremy hover to her top without even withdrawing. Jeremy kissed her earlobe, whispering, "I like your strawberry scent today."
It was too seductive to resist. When he came out, he flopped down on Tina's side, and hustled the comforter on top of them. Jeremy draped his hands on her waist, cocooned his head close to her shoulders, and breathed heavily.
Tina couldn't help but to admire Jeremy's skills. She leaned her forehead to his, and both of them closed their eyes. It was the only moment she waited for at least a month. Tina caressed the side of his face, waiting for him to say anything, but he didn't.
Tina whispered, "How is the Calvorite going? Is it the same as I used to receive from the reports?"
Jeremy didn't have to answer that. He looked her in the eye. They both sprawled onto each other's body as the silence ensued to both of them. Jeremy asked, "Didn't you believe every accomplishment report I do?"
Tina got bewildered. Why is he asking her of that thing?
"Not that at all, Jeremy. I used to question Sam's report all the time. He was doing it wrong every time. The Tempus Moneda of the one who ran away isn't activated that well. They still believe it would activate in a matter of 2 weeks."
Jeremy had a stash of secrets, too, including the one Leo reported when he barged inside his office. Sam Grobes might have a lot more, but Jeremy knew his secrets wouldn't get revealed that fast if he's doing the business in bed.
He had to continue this affair for him and his family to be safe.
"Tempus Moneda has its own faults, too, Tina. The fugitives might have deactivated them, but it wouldn't scrape off the fact THEY… still had the time chip inside their wrists."
Jeremy's words made Tina thought over. She turned to her back and sat up. All naked and showing off her chest, Tina stared at the door, wondering what she'd do about the fugitives.
"Yeah, I've known that, Jeremy. What would we do with the ones who ran away who deactivated their time chip forever? Sam Grobes isn't as competent as the former head sector. He doesn't know what to do at this type of crisis."
Tina brushed her fingers down her smooth hair. It was getting difficult as the time passed. Jeremy stood up, all appalled by her statements.
"Activating it is the flaw of the time chip, Tina. It has to have a lot of process before we see the difference between the citizens of Telamur and Calvorite. One genius must have spread the code secretly, that's why the influx of fugitives flocked through Calvorite," Jeremy stated.
He was thinking that critically, too. Jeremy didn't know what kind of a mind that person had for him to figure out the Tempus Moneda. But one thing's for sure: Jeremy had a suspicion on who was the first fugitive who have done that.
Jeremy isn't certain about it, but catching a glimpse, something in it lighted up the bulb.
"We have known that Telamur inherited the Gelcius' precious time chips. Still, an order from me has to be effective as of now. But Sam… he didn't know what to do. He's too clueless to move on with the investigation and deal with the prisoners and his citizens. For sure, it would take a lot of punishment before he woke up, Jeremy."
Tina was facing her worries. This is what he liked about the affair. Jeremy has little feelings for her, but he would never exchange his peaceful life to a dangerous one. Tina Yunis is dangerous, but one snap of a finger to the man he liked, she'd obey.
It was part of his observation to Tina. She faced a lot of horrifying situations, but the one she's scared the most was when… the people no longer obey her.
That's why she's dealing with the protest, with the people who turned up against her, to the runaways and fugitives commanding the government to enforce another set of rules and oust Tina Yunis from position.
At the right time, it will come. Jeremy wouldn't be there to her side. He's with his family, and will protect them until the end. Tina was too madly in love to realize Jeremy can betray her in the finish line.
He was just using her for convenience.
"Why would you punish him instead of helping him? Sam is pretty new compared to me, Tina. He does know the basics, but his judgment was still shallow. That's why he couldn't help to take two steps at a time, Tina."
Tina thought about what Jeremy had in mind. It was something that she never thought about. Besides, she doesn't like to help other head sectors, too, because she had a lot in her plate at all. She wouldn't resort on being a hero that claimed everything.
Jeremy added, "We have a lot of fugitives in our plate, and I hope the Cassanos will do a good job with them. Plus, your daughter is in inspection team. She's going to skim through their plans, too, for it to be thorough and clean."
Tina sighed. Her mind still roamed around the time chips. She ordered to obliterate Gelcius, and one flick of a finger, Telamur would get wiped out too if they don't follow her orders. Jeremy, who got ahead of time, swung his legs and pulled up his jeans.
Tina turned to Jeremy, saying, "How about reliving the cruel punishment the Tempus Moneda had when Gelcius was still alive?"
Jeremy froze. What does she mean? The poisonous dye that they activated whenever a Telamur citizen is breaking the law, she's going to order it back? Idris would be bloody if it announced publicly.
He turned to Tina, asking, "Are you turning to a dictator again, Tina?"
She once became a dangerous leader of Idris. Tina killed a lot of innocent people in Gelcius for rebelling to her. Jeremy wouldn't be that confused at all if her habit of killing someone would resurface. It's in her blood.
Seeing the Idris people in misery was her lifeline.
"It's common law, Jeremy. Besides, the time chip has been designed to have that. We just have to reactivate it again. That way, the spies would no longer lie to you about killing someone even if they didn't."
Jeremy's struck by lightning. Tina crossed her arms over her chest, concluding, "The people under your wing couldn't be trusted, either. Their words might swarm with lies. It's too dangerous to give in all when you have nothing in return."
She shrugged, and smiling at Jeremy innocently. He got stunned to his place.
In this way, activating the Tempus Moneda's punishment would be a signal to war. He had to give his people the heads-up.
Tina retrieved her lingerie underneath the bed and wore it in silence.
"It's already dinner. Let's wrap up the business from here," Tina announced.
