Chapter 52 - Honest

Right after dinner, Leo tugged in Zella's wrist and rushed towards the third floor, when, at first, it was out-of-bounds. Leo walked down the hallway while squeezing Zella's hand.

She giggled on the way, asking, "You ordered me about not coming in here at first, right?"

Leo chuckled, opening the door towards his home office, and didn't answer. It was the happiest he had been for the past few days. And ever since that night, Jeremy's order to him has long gone. He doesn't care about what will happen now.

Leo closed the door, letting Zella to lead them to the couch, but he tugged her closer, kissing the back of her ear. She smirked, dawning upon the touch he gave. Zella liked the smell of mangoes in his mouth.

Leo wrapped his arms around Zella's waist as he nibbled onto her ear, planting light feather kisses down the nape of her neck. It turned her on, pushed her behind down his crotch, and whispered, "You can't resist me anymore, right?"

Leo journeyed his hands inside her shirt, holding onto her bare abdomen, while he kissed her shoulder sloppily. He breathed, "I can't hesitate when I'm around you. I'll pounce whenever you're present, my wife."

His hot breath lingered in her naked shoulders. Leo traveled his warm palms upwards, sneaking in two fingers inside the cusps of her bra, and Zella felt alive already.

As he was about to unhook her bra and let it fall on the floor, Zella broke apart, brushing off his palms, and turned around, mumbling, "The lights are turned off, Leo."

It was too seductive. He had gotten bewitched. No one can defend him from catching the romantic spell. Leo held onto her waist, caressing her slim back, and leaned down, kissing her longer. They both responded passionately. Oh, so sweet.

They didn't even bother to brush their teeth before nibbling on each other's mouth.

Leo broke up for an inch, answering, "Let it still. I want to f*ck you while the lights aren't on."

Everything he says made her egg on, raising the tension, as if it would give an air to breathe. Zella tiptoed, slinking his arms around his neck. Leo didn't want to get used to being aggressive, but he liked to do it for her. Only to her, the woman he loves.

Leo tapped the back of her legs, and she obliged already. She jumped, wrapping it around his waist, and arched her head back to give Leo an access down to her collarbone. Every touch he made… waking up the senses she never identified for the past years.

No one can make her feel aroused and at the same time, pleasurable as it goes on.

Zella traveled her fingers down to his polo, and unbuttoned them one-by-one. With Leo's teachings, Zella can do the tasks at the same time. As Leo walked towards the office table, he realized how it was too dull not to give a proper christening towards the wooden craft.

He put down Zella in a sitting position, kissing her down to her shoulder, and wore off her top. Leo threw the shirt on the corner of the room, and held both sides of her cheek, giving her a longer kiss.

Zella held onto the collar of his polo, slid her intricate fingers inside. Leo helped her, crumbling it into his fist, and threw it on the side, too, making Zella giggle.

Leo got puzzled, but Zella just kissed his cheek. Both of them stopped for a while.

Leo held onto his waist, asking, "Why are you giggling?"

Zella soothed his arms, and the hairs in Leo's skin stood on other end.

"Everything you did today was all honesty. You never even get past the rule one," she whispered. Leo looked her in the eye, tilting her head to one side. Lavender's right. No matter how he said that his feelings were a lie, it would never turn out to be one.

Leo had completely fallen in love with her.

"I won't lie to you, Laina. I'd never resort to that kind of thing. Because in that, I'll lose your trust, and if I lose it, I'll conclude you'll never love someone like me."

As Zella admired his bare chest, her delicate fingers wondered there, not meeting his eyes, even though Leo kept on staring at her. Zella's eyes were painted with happiness. Even though it's a twinkle of light, Leo had seen it through the darkness.

"I'd never felt so good in my entire life, Leo. I don't know why I'm saying this to you… but with you at my side, I feel assured."

Zella shifted her eyes, meeting his. Leo's heart was nervous, enough to break all of those hopes of living with her forever. All of her words get too attached, and those words carved themselves inside his chest. No one can erase it anymore.

"I feel safe in your arms at night. I've known that if someone tried to hit me, you'll be there, covering it for me. I might not be able to remember anything, but I have to say how much I loved everything about you, Leo."

That must be the sweetest confession he ever had in his life. Leo had never dated women, but when he accidentally got married and faked their license, he knew exactly what a heartwarming experience it was.

Leo swallowed, letting her finish. He doesn't want to interrupt those desirable sentences he craved for a while.

"You leaned into me and I feel like I can share my whole world with you. You pull me closer and I feel attached to everything. I loved it when you're inside me, and I'll cherish the sound of my name in your lips, Leo."

Zella's tone broke out. The tears burst in her eyes, and it made Leo anxious. She closed her eyes, holding onto his naked shoulders, and flailed her head low. Zella sniffed in, but Leo raised her chin.

She looked at him again.

"Why are you crying?" Leo asked. He wiped the tears away from her cheeks.

Zella contemplated the words. She's scared, as Leo sensed. Would it be worth it to kill her if she's horrified about something? Leo found himself getting softer each day. He wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't able to wield a knife anymore.

"Don't lose me, Leo."

It's those three words that pierced through his heart. He creased his forehead, and didn't seem to get what she said.

"Don't let yourself lose me, Leo. I don't want to stay away from your side. I wanted to be in your arms, close to your forehead, and kiss your lips. I'm afraid that if you do, I wouldn't be able to live anymore," Zella confessed.

Leo gritted his teeth. It echoed through his heart.

"I heard the Cassanos wanted a lifetime seal of guarantee. Bring the head of Zella Albert and I will give you all of that."

Leo kissed her all of a sudden. It was the only reassurance he could give. No words, just a kiss. Zella held onto his head, pushing it closer to her, but her tears wouldn't sto at all.

He unhooked her bra, and let it fall to their feet.
