With Claudia Tradio gone, Tao drew closer to Raizel to ask..
"Raizel-nim, can you tell us what the Tradio Clan Leader wanted with you?" Said he.
"She's not here for me." Raizel replied.
"Not for you?"
"No."
"Then, who and what is her purpose for coming here?"
"She's here for Frankenstein."
Raizel returned inside leaving the two puzzled.
"For Frankenstein?—" said Takeo. "What for? Surely they've met before, but I'm not sure they've talked. Must've meant that her business with him is official."
"We'll get nowhere standing around," said Tao. "I don't know exactly what's happening but one thing is for sure, things are deeper than we initially thought. I'll try searching for him by tracking his traces, if I could see any on the internet." He added seriously.
"You've already tried that many times before and you deemed it fruitless."
"I'll just try harder, then." Tao smirked.
"Well," said Takeo. "I guess I'll have to go at it again as well even if it's fruitless. I'll go visit every union lab we discovered six years ago. Maybe now we'll find Frankenstein in one of those laboratories."
"That's right! Let's not waste a second, let's go!"
The two smiled at each other as if their thoughts were in perfect sync with each other. But then—
"Well," said Takeo hesitatingly. "Let's not go exactly 'right now'. I'm kind of hungry. Let's have something to eat first. "
"Uh, yeah… I've been starving since earlier as well."
"Ramen?"
"Ramen. I said this before, and I'll say this again— this is not a healthy diet."
The two returned inside and headed to the kitchen. A few minutes later, they entered the dining room with a tray of bowls of Ramen. As they entered, Raizel was already there, sitting at the dining table; a napkin on his thigh, waiting for his most favorite food. Having prepared everything at the table, they all sat and ate together.
After a while, the three finished their meal. Raizel retired to his bedroom, and Takeo and Tao went underground, into the laboratory.
"How is it?" Tao asked.
Takeo was looking through a scope of a sniper he's holding; checking every inch of it. The weapon was chromatic black, and it could be described as nothing but beautiful.
"It felt good." He replied. "The grip, the lenses, everything. It's also very light."
"It should be. That's made of Silver-Skrundium. Most indestructible metal found on earth. Lightweight, but heavy duty. There's only very little of that around the globe. Made into nano-technology, that sniper you have there can reform into different types of weaponry, including pistols and such. You have to pair with it if you want to command it by thought. Dormant mode would allow you to carry that around as an armlet."
"This is great, when did you make this?"
"Oh, though I did help out, it was Frankenstein who did most of it. He finished that a year ago, since you have no use for it then, he didn't give it to you. That was just a prototype though, still, that's incredibly expensive so don't lose it."
"Sure." Takeo replied, his eyes fully glued to the beautiful weapon he's holding.
"One last thing, you can't feel it now since it's not activated, but that gun uses materialized-aura as bullets. It would use your power as you hold the handle."
"Yeah, got it."
"You seemed too fascinated about that weapon. You're sure you're up to the task, right?"
"um, yeah … " said Takeo, still having his eyes on the sniper. " Of course."
"Right."
"Well, let me start… "
Takeo stood straight, and Tao backed off. Silence prevailed over the room, and a cold atmosphere was starting to creep in. Takeo's hair began to move as the air inside was disturbed.
"... here goes."
"Now ..." uttered Tao under his breath. "Activate Silverion."
