Slowly, Takeo's aura emanated from his body. A blue luminous field of energy changed the atmosphere inside and as it did, the weapon Silverion started. It glowed a dark violet outline, and Takeo felt his power being sucked out.
"I see. This weapon really does harness Ethereal Energy." Remarked Takeo.
"Yep, when Frankenstein heard about our battle six years ago against the werewolves after we gained our Dark Energy, he thought of an upgraded version of those bullets you used, unlike the bullets, this has the ability to easily harness energy"
Takeo raised Silverion up on his chest. And in a small voice, he said;
"Dormant Mode."
As he said this, the nanotech weapon transformed and as if it was semi-liquid; clung onto Takeo's right wrist before it hardened once more, but this time into a black armlet.
"Well, thanks, I guess." Said Takeo. "I'll return the favor next time. For now, give me the locations of all the laboratories we've determined."
"I've already downloaded it to the GPS of the helicopter you're using. They would appear as a dot. "
"The search is on, then." Said Takeo, extending his right hand.
"Yeah. Be sure to update me on every development." Tao replied, shaking his hand. "Someone's on us, Takeo, be careful."
"C'mon, we've faced tougher foes before. Is there anyone or anything to fear more than beings who can shatter a mountain in a single wave of their hand?" He grinned.
Tao smiled upon hearing this confidence from his partner. Indeed, after the enemies they've fought, who could make them feel scared anymore?
"I guess you're right."

It was morning. Tao was thinking how much has happened in just a few months, especially these past few days. Frankenstein's gone missing, M-21 is out, and Takeo just went off earlier to a mission. Tao knew he had every bit of reason to be worried. However, something about this morning worries him. Lying on bed, he woke up anxious, and a feeling of unease crept in inside of him.
Though he always worries about his comrades' safety, he knew they could protect themselves and were not that anxious about the whole ordeal of them being alone, one by one.
If it's not about his comrade, "then what is this unease I'm feeling right now?" He asked himself.
Lazily, he got up; wore his indoor sleepers; brushed his teeth, and washed his face. After all of that, he stretched his limbs and cracked his joints like a normal human being, trying to get lively in the morning.
Before coming out of his room, Tao did a few reps of Jumping Jacks to ease his feeling. "Great!" He said right after.
He opened the door and exited his bedroom. He went straight to the kitchen; opened the fridge and got whatever he could see that he could eat right away.
On his hands were loaves of bread, cheese, apple, chocolate bar, and a carton of milk.
He went to the dining table, and was able to take a seat when suddenly, Cadiz Etrama di Raizel entered the room. He halted.
"Uhmm, sir, g-good morning." He greeted.
Raziel did not, as usual, return pleasantries. With a very uninterested face, he just stood there for a couple of seconds.
"Tao," said he, at last. "Prepare everything there is to prepare. We're going to Lukedonia."
"R-raizel-n-nim?"
Tao was surprised.
