After Ludis picked up his pace, he hastened himself once more, and led the group. As they reached halfway through the Kertia's domain, Ludis suggested they move on foot. They steadily headed down, and started to walk.
"You said this is the land Rael manages, right?" Tao asked. The three of them were walking on a moor inside the Kertia's vast lands. Kertia's land is on the northernmost part of the Kingdom, just ahead of the forbidden forest, and is surrounded by mountain ranges on both the west and south sides, and forests on all sides. The middle, however, was nothing but plains and so, Tao and the others could see the towns very well even from incredibly far distance. As well as the glorious castle that stood in the center of it which attracted his attention.
"This is."
"Is he here?"
"No," Ludis replied. "Rael-nim hasn't been back for a few months now. They're on a mission together with Seira-nim."
"I see… lucky him."Tao uttered with a wry smile.
"What's that?"
"Nothing."
"Anyway, noblesse-nim, let's enter the forest ahead."
Raizel nodded, but kept his sight ahead.
"I've been to one of the caves in the east." Said Raizel. "That's where I found Frankenstein with his science, doing experiments. Where I restricted his use of his powers. However, I heard he has another lab around here."
"That's what you wanted us to locate, sir?" Ludis asked, to which Raizel nodded in response.
"I see, the reason you first had us check the one in the east first in your orders was because you're searching for someone's presence. If they're not there, they should be ahead."
The group entered the forest. It was dark and eerie. The tall and thick trees covered the land; no moonlight could enter. The owls coo, and the wind whistles through the holed and hollowed barks. With their supernatural vision, however, navigating through this dark and dreary place was an easy task. After about ten minutes, they exited the forest which would have taken a few hours if they had been normal humans instead.
As they exited, they were met instantly by a steep cliff, straight into the deep dark waters of the sea.
"The island's up ahead. Let's go."
The three, through flying over the waters, went there immediately. They had just landed on its shores as Tao looked at Ludis for instructions.
Before Ludis could tell them, however, they noticed that the noblesse's face was suspended in disbelief; staring straight into the forest ahead inside the island, as if he's sensing something.
"Raizel-nim?" Uttered Tao.
Raizel's countenance changed as he began to move ahead. Straight into what may be an enemy territory.
"Did Raizel-nim sensed something?"
"I'd say so. I heard the noblesse's senses were far above everyone else. I guess I don't need to tell him the location."
Tao and Ludis immediately followed before him; going where the Noblesse went. The two wondered what it was that had caused the Noblesse to have that alert expression. The two readied themselves as they progressed onward, to what seem to be an unknown.
