"Lukedonia?" Tao asked. "May I asked the purpose of our visit?"
"I merely wanted to check something." Raizel replied. "I gave an order to Claudia, to be relayed there; to investigate something. It seems my suspicions were right." He added.
Tao froze for a second. The unease he's been feeling were stronger than ever. With a deep breath, he bowed his head slightly, and said, "As you wish."
Without further question, Tao left the dining table and went to do as he was told. As for Raizel, he returned to his room, and stood there as he waited, looking out of his window.
With all the time and silence to himself, he often found himself strolling down memory lane; straying from his usual thoughts. He remembered his conversation with a friend of his 3,000 years ago. And no, it wasn't Muzaka. It was long before he met him. Though I suppose you couldn't call him a "friend". It's more like Raizel was stuck with him. However, if you were to asked this "friend", he would tell you that Raizel was like a Brother and a Son.
"I have outlived my friends, Raizel." Said he. A man with a long blonde hair, fair skin, and a comely face.
This man was sitting under the shade of a tree on a hill, watching the sunset. He turned his head to his side where Raizel was standing.
"My friends were of my kind. They could have lived as long as me, but somehow, they always find themselves on battles more than they could chew (to which is incredibly rare on its own). They're not werewolves who'd go around picking fights so I don't know how they always get themselves in trouble. Well, one of them is (somewhat), and the other? He's my right hand. Powerful, even more than Clan Leaders." He rambled. "Speaking of that guy. He's a general. And you know the most impressive thing he did? He managed to create and conjure a soul weapon from the corpse and soul of his enemy."
"Create a soul weapon?" At last, Raizel spoke. The other guy smiled as he saw Raizel's face.
"Took me this long to finally piqued your interest when I've been talking here for some time now?" He said. "Well, to answer your question, yeah. I don't know how he did it, or if he did it at all. Soul Weapons weren't as mysterious as we initially thought. I have an idea of how to make one, but I don't think it'd be a genuine Soul Weapon. Soul Weapon connects bloodline, and souls, and travels through a mysterious path of bloodlines. That, in itself, is something I find hard a concept to understand. Talking about it in natural stance, it's easy… but practically? Anyway, we've drifted from our conversation. Back to the guy I'm talking about, If you hadn't lost your memory everytime you come back, you would have known him. You guys were close." Said the blonde Noble.
"Such was my nature." Raizel replied.
"Indeed. I wonder what you were like before." Smiled the man.
The man was about to continue what he's talking about when suddenly, they noticed the presence of an approaching young fellow. The fellow was well-fit, cleaned -shaven face, and a white hair with a black streak on both side of his hair. A few seconds later, the fellow reached them.
A few meters of distance away, he stopped and kneeled to the ground.
"My respects to the Lord and the Noblesse." Said he.
"My, Gejutel, have you already finished your mission?" Asked the blonde man, the lord.
"Yes, lord."
"Wonderful. You've only been a Clan Leader for a decade but you're certainly proving yourself worthy of your Father's trust." Said the lord. He then stood up, and dust himself up. "Well, then… I'm going in first, Cadiz Etrama di Raizel."
With that, the lord left, while Gejutel stayed still kneeling to the ground. After the lord walked past him, he stood up, and bowed to Raizel.
"Excuse me, sir." He said, and left.
