Chapter 6 - The Whereabouts I

The window panes were opened, and the cold but gentle wind ushered in. Cadiz Etrama Di Raizel stood gazing out of the room's window, unto the dark lonely skies above. The moon was brilliant but the stars were barely visible. Lost in his deep thoughts, he hadn't moved since he entered his room. There's only one thing that is weighing on his mind: the whereabouts and situation of his faithful servant; Frankenstein.

Frankenstein, he has defeated the strongest of foes, survived countless battles, and grew stronger each victory. Raizel wondered. What could have happened to him? If Frankenstein vanished by his own free will, why? He wouldn't normally do these things. He always asked for permission, inform him, or at the very least make contact. Last time he's gone missing was only for a short time, and that was when a threat by the Union was looming around in the name of Yuri. However, he did none of that this time, and there's no such threat this time either. For the span of five months, there has been no trace of him ever since. At first they searched for him in every possible location, but eventually, they decided to wait.

'Where are you, Frankenstein?'

Raizel's thoughts were interrupted when he heard faint footsteps right outside the door. He tilted his head.

"Raizel-nim." Tao uttered as he slowly entered. He didn't speak a word after that. Instead, it was Raizel who told him what he wanted to say.

"You found him?" Raizel asked. A flash of excitement, little as it was, glimmered on his eyes.

"We're not... certain."

"Where?"

"In a country in Europe called France. Specifically, somewhere in Paris."

A moment of silence had suddenly befallen them. Then—

"You're going to ask me to stay?" Raizel asked.

"Yes." Tao replied, sadly. "But it appears that it's useless. However, I'm gonna asked, Raizel-nim, that you must allow us to take charge and lead, especially if a battle occurs. You must know that you're not fully healed yet."

"You're acting like Frankenstein." Raizel smiled.

"Eh—" Tao gleed. "Ah... the boss is still crazier. "

A few hours later, the three were in the air in a small private plane, flying from South Korea, bound to Paris, France.

'Gentlemen' Tao said through the microphone from the pilot seat. 'We're now 38,500 ft in the air, and less than 8 hours away from our destination. Sit tight and enjoy.'

Raizel and Takeo were sitting adjacent to each other at a single table located at the center of the passenger's cabin. A minute later, Tao exited the Pilot Cabin and joined them while pushing a cart.

"Any of you want some Ramen?" he asked. Raizel immediately sat clear from the table, expecting to be served with a bowl of noodles.

"Coming right up!" Tao entertained as he began serving.

"Tao, can you still track the location of the signal even now? We still don't know if it's really Frankenstein or not, it's best if we know his movements." said Takeo.

"I can, I downloaded the program before we left. The problem is, it doesn't matter. The owner of that signal, if they're not Frankenstein, can just remove it, or it's possible they're really not in Paris at all. This could be a trap. That's why I told you the chances are not looking very well. Let's just hope it's really Frankenstein."

"Well, if they're not Frankenstein, we can just force them to tell us their involvement on this matter. Can you trace their actual location, if ever?"

"Not right now. That signal is not a good lead. If I could go to the origin, however, no matter if they're there or not, I could track where they're really are." Tao remarked.

"Great."

"You seem very cautious about this."

"Well, I had a bad feeling about this."

"Uh, let's just eat our Ramen first."

"Probably a little later. "

"Why?"

"Well..." Takeo directed his eyes over to the person adjacent to him. Tao followed suit, and saw Raizel looking intently at his Ramen, waiting for it to 'grow in quantity'.

"Yeah, it's rude to eat first." He uttered under his breath.
