William seemed too angry with this gesture and grumbled at him fiercely, "stop chasing after innocent lives, Roger! We are not vampires! Stop taking harmless lives for your malicious desires!" He clenched his shoulder tightly proclaiming his threat.
Roger smiled at his kinesics and slowly unleashed them from his grasp. "Don't avoid my question, big brother! You were so worried about her that you even came looking for her! Woah! But why are you in your invisible state?
Why aren't you appearing before her?" He murmured in a low voice while glaring at William.
"Hey! You jerk!"
Both of them flinched with the sudden call and noticed that she had an oblivious look on her face while staring intensely at them.
"Hey? What are you murmuring while turning back? Who are you talking to? Are you some kind of lunatic creep?" She sounded quite infuriated during walking close to him at a slow pace.
Roger turned back at William once and winked with a foxy smile on his face. He abruptly put his hands inside his pocket and looked at her densely.
"Nothing much! I was just shocked to witness your ignorance, my dear duckling!" He grinned at her with an obscure resonance.
She halted with his response and frowned her eyebrows. "What? Duckling? Hey! Are you crazy?" She walked closer to him and yelled ferociously while rolling her eyes in anger.
Roger seemed to enjoy her unique reaction and sneered mystically.
"To be honest, you seemed like a charming lady from the outside but has a bad mouth from the inside, so I decided to call you with that! I generally like to name people according to my preferences." He grinned and turned back at William to observe his expression while conveying his thoughts to her.
William was staring at him intensely with his eye colour changed to the usual black. He was consistently glancing at both of them from behind.
"Who are you? And why are you pestering me so much, jerk?" She outraged her frustration towards him being unable to hold it back.
Roger again turned back again at William and smiled devilishly.
"I am quite surprised by your assumption about me, but..." While speaking in a coarse voice, Roger stared intensely at her. "I am the one, who saved your life today!" He answered with a mystic smirk leaving behind everyone startled.
Sherry was stunned by his proclamation and gawked at him obscurely. "Wh-What?" She inquired.
William walked close to Roger and groaned at him with agitation. "Hey, what the hell are you talking about? Don't mess with me!" He warned him with a dense resonance.
"What are you talking about? Are you the one who saved me? Who are you?" She was getting impatient with his declaration and was interrogating him persistently.
Roger gasped at her inquisitively. In the shadowy moonlight, she appeared as the divine Moon Goddesses, standing before him firmly.
Her black shimmering hair was constantly waving with the mild night breeze which she was caressing while interrogating him. Her eyebrows frowned but her eyes looked quite profound.
Somehow, her gaze looked a bit glum. As if she was deliberately trying to hide her unspeakable pain behind her by acting all tough.
Her compactness and stern attitude piqued Roger's interest a furthermore. He cryptically glanced at William and brought his face closer to him. "If you are reluctant of taking your credits, I will gladly have them." He whispered to him with a cunning smirk.
"Well, I couldn't let you die before my own eyes helplessly. So, I decided to save your life." Roger continued.
She glared at him intensely for a moment with her fretful face as if she was lost in some deep thoughts. After a while, she sighed heavily and turned her face away from him.
"I don' believe you. I have seen the eyes of the person for a second and his eyes looked so cold... It was definitely not you. I don't know, why are you stealing the credentials of the person but this trick won't work on me." She replied to him in a firm voice.
After answering him, she gallantly started walking away from him towards her home. But after moving a few steps ahead, she halted and looked around her. She was looking for someone as if her heart perceived the presence of someone there.
William unknowingly smiled at her action, "she is definitely quite mystical." He thought with a small grin.
"Why does it feels that someone has been watching me silently here, apart from this jerk? Why does it make my heart so restless? She thought with an anxious gaze while heading back again towards her home.
Roger was watching her from behind as she left slowly. "Sherry Crawley... quite interesting," he murmured in a dark voice with a sneer.
As soon as Sherry left, William glared at Roger intensely with a disgruntled expression. As if he was a bit offended by his naive gestures.
"We need to talk." William firmly declared while ogling at him.
Roger was quite amused to see William getting hyped up about Sherry. With a foxy smirk, he nodded his head. "Go ahead," he answered.
"Why were you pestering her? Why were you dragging her in between our brother's conflict? She was already enough disturbed today for even taking away her own life! So why were you lying to her about saving--"
"Did it affect you? Aren't you too concerned about her?" Roger interrupted him sharply with a frivolous tone. His eyes were fixed on him during replying to him.
William was getting impatient with his vague response and suddenly grabbed his shoulder before interrogating him further. "Roger, stop making me mad!
Don't always get on my nerves with your stupid games." He sounded quite a menace while answering him.
Roger casually unleashed himself from his grasp and ogled at him for an instance. "I have never seen you getting hyped up for a woman, is she that special?
Or you are just allured by her smell?
