The system began speaking as it thoughtfully projected an intangible hologram-like screen in front of Ubel's emotionless eyes. Then, in its robotic tone, it began to explain.
"Host is now bound to me, so please allow me to introduce myself. I will be your companion for the next many years and missions. My name is 02040, and my official system name is "The Villain System." From the name alone, you can deduce that you will be killing all the protagonists in the entire multiverse, which includes all novel worlds! "
"In exchange, you would be given resources to help you grow stronger. Aside from strengthening your soul, MMC's Center Store can provide you with a variety of other benefits. Such as a technique that could be used repeatedly to instantly form a body with a talent powerful enough to support the soul's strength; albeit at a high cost."
In his soul form, Ubel simply nodded and said nothing. He'd go into the various Novel Worlds to relieve his boredom and experience some in-world emotional fluctuations—all while leaving them in the world. And, at the same time, strengthen his soul.
After all, he still wanted to feel emotions, despite his cold-hearted attitude. For various reasons, he could never be attached to anyone in his previous world. However, the same could not be said for the future worlds.
But he had to make sure he kept all of the emotions he'd feel within the world so he could enjoy each one.
He had a goal in mind for gaining strength: creating a multiverse similar to the one he was about to enter. And, by doing so, he'd never... get bored of using his various creations, which he'd transmigrate into.

After some time, Ubel received a system notification:
[The First Tutorial Novel World Begins. Participant: Ubel. Difficulty Rank: E.]
Following that, the system immediately began the transfer and threw him into a whirlwind of time and space, immersing him in a new, unknown world...
When Ubel awoke, he was inundated with information from the system.
-
[This world is more than just a tutorial, Host; it's quite unique. In it, you are both the protagonist and the villain. It's a novel about a world where two parallel realities coexist due to a significant twist in the Time and Karma Laws. Ubel, the protagonist, is in charge of one of the realities. While the other party, the female lead, Lieb, is in charge of the other reality. However, it isn't that difficult to solve the main mission despite all the difficulties.]
The system paused for a moment to allow Ubel to process what he'd just heard.
'A tricky Novel World from the start, huh? I can sense, using some of my soul's sealed prowess, that some artifact has messed up the laws. Though I am aware that my abilities cannot be used in this world because it lacks the same strength system, limiting them to that of a normal mortal who has not yet begun cultivation. ' Ubel's eyes twinkled with a complex sparkle as he finished the thought. He hadn't been a mortal in a long time....
'But that's sort of the point. With my initial strength, I could force anyone in this world to do what I wanted. However, with my current mortal body, I get to experience a new strength system. ' He smiled, realizing he'd finally have company in this new universe.
However, as soon as the system finished speaking, it was as if a bucket of cold water was thrown on him.

[The Time and Karma Laws are completely messed up, Host. You being a protagonist while also being the villain indicates a unique situation; where the female lead, while also being the villainess, has a special connection to Host. Don't get your hopes up too soon. In any case, the main plot takes place during lunch, when the entire group gathers. Any important upcoming events shall be rementioned to the Host if needed]

Ubel sighed when he heard the final words. He did, however, nod after some thought.
Yes, it was disappointing, but that's all there was to it. It was all to keep him busy. The more he has to work, the more he forgets he was bored.

The house he was in had two floors: an upper floor with a room where his sister lived and a lower floor with a room near the house's door where he was. The stairs to the upper floor were on the opposite side of his room.
That way, he could leave the house freely—and stealthily—at any time.
As he walked out of his room, he noticed his sister, who appeared to be naked, wearing a pajama that exposed a portion of her chest, and a man—whom he remembered from his memories—wearing the same thing and leaving the room together.
An anxious, passionate face is hidden beneath a tight bun of brownish, coily hair. Ubel's response is awaited by dancing blue eyes set deep within their sockets.
A rose tattoo was visible just beneath her left neck. This is Herrllich's face.
Ubel was drawn to her for some reason when he came across her, as if there was some art at work.
But he simply shook his head at the thought, knowing that such a thing was not possible in this world.
Her aura was fiery crimson. She made people who saw her sense her uniqueness at first glance, much like a sun blazing brightly among the stars.
Ubel's brows furrowed as he recalled who this man was. It was Ubel's best friend, or rather, Ubel of this world, whom he had known since childhood.
Blonde hair is pulled back from the face, revealing a long, troubled face. Purple eyes, placed appealingly within their orbits, look over with a worried expression.
This is Nutzlos' face. In contrast to Herrlich, he had a tattoo of a judy blue flower on his neck.
Despite his gleaming features, he exuded a cold aura that made others instinctively avoid him. It was like an enormous icy spike in the middle of the water; the fish would avoid it because shards of ice could fall on them and kill them.
And it appears that his meeting with his sister and closest friend was predetermined by fate. After all, he awoke early and happened to run into them as they exited their room at the same time? There was no such thing as coincidence in this world; only fate existed.
He recognized them as potential protagonists the moment he met them, and their opposing tattoos confirmed his suspicions.
He could already see the previous him opposing their relationship and forbidding them from meeting. But, that relationship of theirs worked at the end of such debates, deepening their bond to the greatest extent possible, ending with reconciling with Ubel.
He didn't have many memories of the world's future because he didn't let the system inform him. He simply inquired about the necessary memories, which would be crucial plot points.
He was unconcerned about other things, such as obtaining vengeance for the protagonist or villain.
It was ridiculous to seek vengeance on people from another timeline when events had not yet occurred.
Furthermore, his mission this time was to restore the world's Time and Karma Laws. And to do so, he had to meet the 'big boss,' who was in possession of the artifact that had messed up the Laws. And his 'villain' identity fit with the name of his system, while also adding to his secret identity in this world...

"Ubel, what are you getting up so early for?" Herrllich, his sister, called. Her tone was tense.
Nutzlos, his bestfriend, quietly held her hand when he heard her trembling voice, which didn't escape Ubel's notice.
"I've gotten up this early to attend to a personal matter. What is it that is going on between the two of you?" Ubel inquired, his eyes narrowing.
"This... We're..." Herrllich paused in her speech, as if she was stumped for words.
Never one to pass up an opportunity, Nutzlos squeezed her hands even tighter as he slapped his chest and said, "We're dating, Ubel. Sorry for not expressing our feelings sooner, but we love each other. We're mostly concerned about your reaction. "
"You two have worried far too much. If I knew about your relationship, I would openly respect it." With a smile on his face, Ubel stated.
"But don't ever think of hurting her, Nutzlos," he continued, his expression was threatening, as he faced his bestfriend, "she is my sister and the only family I have left in this world..."
"I hereby swear to the heavens that during my life, I'll only have Herrlich by my side, no one else. And I will love her for the rest of my life. Regardless of the hardships we would confront. " He interrupted Ubel before he could finish his sentence with an aura he had sensed several times; it was unmistakably the protagonists'.
He was curious as to what the stumbling block in their relationship might have been now that it wasn't him.
Would it be some childhood friend of his sister, or his bestfriend, that secretly developed a crush on them and only recently discovered it? Or would there develop to be any insecurity problems between the two?
He didn't know, nor did he want to. Just continue on with their plot to unfold. It wasn't like they would interfere with the main plot any time soon anyway.
The oath was formed by the world, and if it was broken, the person who took it would have his soul vanish from existence.
