Jang approached Ubel after the immobilization pill was placed into his mouth and said, expressionlessly, "Do you think you have the right to choose whether or not you could accept our assistance? You're merely a mortal. What do you consider yourself to be in the presence of a being that has already surpassed mortal limits? Nothing. So, stop your foolishness and place your hands here."
Following that, a blueish orb appeared in front of them, most likely from one of the two's spatial rings.
Jang then stepped forward and pulled Ubel's hand, putting it on top of the orb.
And something that wasn't supposed to happen in this timeline occurred. A blood red glow emerged in the sphere before a few sentences floated above.

Ubel could then feel things happening in his current body.
The first apparent difference was his eyes and nails going red whenever he sought to detect the elements around him.
It was strange since it defined which attribute he was associated with.
Ubel was brought back to reality by Jing's cough, who continued, "Now that the restriction has been broken by the Supernatural Sensor, you may finally begin training in the Elementary Way."
Before starting, he took a deep breath. "In the "Elementary Way," there are five major ranks. The first includes perceiving the elements granted to you and then comprehending how they function. But first, before we go any further..."
Jing stared at Jang, who nodded in reply, as they waved their hands together, producing a massive barrier visible to those with element sensory but invisible to the human eye.
Ubel was taken aback since he sensed another spell at work that he recognized.
It was a space-time barrier that caused the passage of time here to be slowed.
But when he saw they could utilize space and time laws, he shook his head, knowing it was only natural...

The two came to a halt a few minutes after executing the spell to replenish their energy.
Jing then created a spatial bath tube a dozen minutes later; as the two began dumping resources into it.
To humans and even certain supernaturals, such materials were priceless treasures. They were, however, worthless to the two.
As for what such resources were, they were crystals carrying the elements of the evil attribute—containing energy and a little insight inside them. There were also herbs that could be beneficial in tempering the body, etc.
They didn't stop there, though. Jang used a Time spell to accelerate the time within the bath tube after all of the resources were accumulated. As such, all of the resources were dissolved into liquid at a rate observable to the human eye.
An hour or two later, the tube was finally filled to the brim. The two moved, pulled the immobilized Ubel into the bath tub, and started watching him.

Meanwhile, Ubel wasn't paying any attention to real life. He received a system notice, which startled him because, with his present meddling, his mission had become as simple as a tutorial world should be...

[Host. The total number of Novel Points [NP] accumulated is 239,604. The change was lifted to the Special level. What precisely happened was that the two sons of Ubel would appear to him from the future as his demise approached, and try to assist him in unlocking his elementary sense far sooner than he was supposed to. However, with the assistance of the plot, it was forced to not work until the specified moment. However, because of the influence of Host's body, the forced plan is rendered ineffective.]

He was taken aback at first, then nodded in understanding when he realized what had transpired.
His body contained a powerful soul, albeit in a sealed form. As such, it required a physique as strong as it is, or a talent comparable to it. And it was so monstrous that it quickly got free of the plot's constraints on him.
Such an occurrence merits the designation "Special." It couldn't happen no matter what; not even if another MMC participant showed up. However, because of his unique situation, it was easily averted.

He eventually let out a sigh of relief as he was brought back to reality and realized he was in the middle of a bath tube.
The first thing that came to mind was to flee. But, realizing where he was, he came to a halt.
He began immersing himself and discovered that his body was beginning to refine itself.
The training should have just improved slowly. But, with the gathered resources at hand, it progressed at breakneck pace.
His flesh and organs should have been the only parts of his body that were tempered. But, with knowledge of the key plot points, Ubel needs far more power than that.
He required the legendary trait to "battle a rank or two above him." And he needed to temper... everything in order to do so. His cells included.
The resources amassed began to deplete swiftly, as all of the trillions of cells in his body were tempered by the elements.

When the two saw what was going on, they assumed their father was simply crazy.
Body tempering was notorious for inflicting excruciating pain on their organs, but Ubel goes to great lengths to purify even his cells.
They suspected him of being a masochist, but pushed that notion to the back of their heads. Masochists like being struck physically on the outside. But he was destroying everything, including his cells, internally.
But they quickly realized what was going on. It took an insane amount of tempering for their father to acquire such power in their future. And there might be a reason why he required more strength at this time.
They didn't come here knowing anything about their parents' lives. They merely employed the spell to attempt to change their history. They were surprised to learn that Ubel could begin training right away, as it was not what was planned.
But they neglected the consequences of returning to the past. They placed their lives at risk for it. After all, if their parents became stronger, they wouldn't have to fear being killed constantly in their future timelines.
As a result, they proceeded to pump in more and more resources without hesitation.
They arrived with a million times more resources than they needed. It was insane, yet it was a thought that came to them just before they were going to regress in time.
And with that, Ubel's insane absorption proceeded, as the two pumped more and more resources.
