Hendrix was still in thoughts when Ava's words cut in, bringing her to consciousness.
"Hendrix, what are you thinking about?" she demanded.
The sound of her voice was so thick, and it expressed the manner in which she was tensed, knowing fully well that the man didn't even have a word to offer how now.
Ava had noticed that Hendrix's mind had drifted away from her, coupled with the fact that several thoughts kept on spreading through her mind. It is kind of sick no matter what happens, and the look that swept through his entire face just made it look all the same weird.
Blinking severally, Hendrix tried maintaining his gaze on the lady's own.
It was awkward, but whatever that feeling looks like, he maintained it as much as possible. Clearing his throat, he let the words slip out of his mouth as that was super important.
"Ava, I think you should have some rest, that would be of great help to you right now," he said trying not to push forth a simple discussion.
There is no doubt that Ava was beautiful, and that is the only thing that makes him to think in every shaded in the light that he wants the lady as his already. Thinking about that gave him an idea all the same.
Ava was fuming at the mention of those words, she was just trying to bring Hendrix to awareness, and it has turned out to be something else, quite sick than what he gets on the ordinary.
"Hey, Hendrix, I am fine, just a mild headache..." she said, and her words were truncated when the young man cut in, saying,
"And the fact that you are hungry," Hendrix added teasing her, but still maintained a very grave look on his face.
"What?" Ava asked.
She couldn't believe that the young man had accused her of hunger. As such, she made the man raise her brows at her, staring quizzically as if she hadn't heard what had just been saying.
Hendrix wanted to laugh out loud at this moment, but he knew best not to do such a thing because it might not be funny at all, hell no! Taking a deep breath and releasing it, the young man decided to speak out what he had earlier said, making point of the fact that he had used those words, and is conscious of the fact that he has.
"Wait, what, Hunger? Oh yes, my daughter hinted to earlier that you've literally starved yourself for a while now, how pathetic is that?" the young man demanded as he eyed the lady in altering bewilderment.
Ava's heartbeat tripped severally, and the fact that she had not even noticed that Sophie had been vigilant enough to notice that she had starved herself so much, there is nothing she can do about it right now.
The truth is that she had saved enough money for the trip, but not much to permit her to eat to her satisfaction, considering the fact that they have a two way journey to make.
"Hendrix, what do you want from me?" Ava asked as she grits her teeth in trouble.
Hendrix had her eyes on the lady's own, there is nothing he can do about it, and the more he had the urge to tease her in peace, there isn't much of a thing he get his mind throbbed it all in one.
He was aware of the fact that Ava was going through hardship, but he hadn't thought about it to be this tough, and that is just it.
"Ava, just tell me, why did you starve?" he questioned as his eyes were glued to the lady's side, and that was truly awkward.
The young lady sulked, she had several things going on in her mind, and that was sick, and the fear that consumed her, all she did was to heave a gentle sigh while she prepared her mind to say the things that were there.
Right now, she was already angry, and as she suppressed the anger that threatened to spill over the place, there is nothing she could do when angry then.
"Hendrix or whosoever you call yourself, I think you should fucking let me be, for your damn information, I had to starve because I was trying to provide at least a sensible meal for Sophie while we get here. Had I known we wouldn't even be welcomed in this place, I should never have opted to come in the first place," Ava's sullen words came out of her throat.
Indeed, she was in despair, the anger was now evident in every corner of her body, and indeed, there is nothing she can do say or do again, other than controlling her temperament that had snapped off so fast.
Hendrix's jaws dropped down immediately, that is crazy how he felt that way because no lady had ever made him feel this way.
"Lady, you should at least save one respect for me, I didn't make you broke or something," the young man spat out as he snapped at Ava with his sarcastic tone.
Ava was truly going to have to murder if anyone doesn't hold her so hard. There is something that needs to be done and the fact that Hendrix was being blunt to her is the case where she can't even do anything about it.
Hendrix had just made it her fault that she had brought his baby, she has nothing to do in this case, the fact that he had spoken to her in that manner is so sick. In anger, she decided to unleash the anger in her.
"Hmm! do you even hear yourself talk, Hendrix? if you hadn't used that thing dancing between your thighs to impregnate my sister, I wouldn't have been here, thinking of a way to make her see her father, a man that isn't even worth it at all," Ava blurted out.
That was the hardest she could do, to talk, and in all positions.
