The next morning me and Willow got dressed with matching jeans and simple black shirts. We ate some waffles and syrup almost as if it were a normal day which is strange to try and think about. I mean a few months almost maybe even a year! We don't keep track of time at this point but almost a year ago we were struggling to survive and we still are but it's more humanitarian. I took a bite of another piece of waffle before checking the time. "Willow, What the hell. It's four in the morning!" Kyra whispers to Willow in shock. Willow's eyes open in shock as she glances over upstairs towards the rooms and then the clock. "Well that explains the reason Haro isn't awake" Willow said sounding dumbfounded. "Obviously" I say with a slight sigh before getting troubled thoughts of what the weird potion things Haro had in the basement were. "Kyra, I want to know what Haro has been up to but it's so secretive which makes it more suspicious" Willow spoke as she looked at me with a slight smirk or mystery. "Willow.. That wouldn't be right." Kyra protested with a slight feeling of nervousness and temptation.
Willow begged me quietly with pleading eyes so, dubiously I nod and she smiles cheerfully before jumping to her feet and grabbing the basement handle but I put my hand on her shoulder so she stopped and looked back bewildered. "If we get caught it's our fault." I warned her and she looked disinterested but my firm grip said otherwise, we entered the basement and saw the same setup of potions but Willow walked over to the safe and saw it left open. Inside there was a little vile with a purple liquid that seemed thick, me and Willow decided to confront Haro about whatever was going on down here. All the weird potion stuff and the safe and vile but they both had a feeling they shouldn't say anything just yet. "Maybe we should ask?" Willow asked falteringly and perturbed. "I do agree but maybe later? alright." Kyra took in a breath and stared at the vile Willow now had the vile and nodded to me as if I understood but I just nodded back and we walked back to our rooms making sure to hide the vile in a drawer.
I walked over to Haro who was normally eating a lollipop for breakfast. "You should eat breakfast, you know?" Kyra sighed as she looked at Haro who just glared. "Get to the point i'm tired." Haro said nonchalantly, "What's in the vile?" Kyra asked timidly. Haro's eyes widened at the mention and he looked as if he went back to calm before removing the lollipop from his mouth and looking Kyra in his eyes. "What vile?" he asked acting super dumb. "I'm not stupid stop playing dumb!" Kyra shouted. "Solution." Haro said quietly. "Solution to what Haro? specify." Kyra said with a snappy tone and an impatient face, "The zombies, Kyra I can stop the zombie apocalypse but i'm slowly testing them all and the closest i've gotten is that vile. I-- need that vile!" Haro seemed impatient as well and looked her dead in the eye as he spoke. "Why didn't you just tell us earlier? Why did you hide this, there was no point in making us worried and wait for something as-- oh.." She stopped realizing she was being over dramatic. "This is a serious matter, Kyra." Haro said but I knew that so I know and went up to my room to retrieve the vile, I gave him the vile and Willow walked out of her room with tired eyes. "I heard the entire thing but i'm going back to bed so if I forget to remind myself-- then-" Willow was too tired to even speak, but was too tired to comprehend what was happening.
I lead Willow to her room almost like a child before going back to Haro, apologizing, and going back to bed wondering if I handled it correctly.
