Lydia was never met Andrew. If only William hadn't mentioned Andrew before, she wouldn't have thought that this Andrew before him was a cruel and wicked person. Until that moment, Lydia could not help but turn to William. She felt she knew all sorts of human relations, but she didn't recognize the real face of Andrew. How could a young William witness Andrew's cruelty while maintaining his composure calm like this? How often did William have to experience his Second Uncle evil nature and heartless stuff?
William noticed Lydia's look on his face, then he looked at her and said, "Quickly say hello to my Second Uncle."
Lydia just realized they were in front of Andrew. Then, Lydia smiled at Andrew right away, "Hello Second Uncle, how do you do? I'm Lydia."
Andrew smiled honestly and shook his head at Lydia, "Is that my nephew's wife? How do you do? You are so beautiful, as Old Madam Chang described. As far as I'm concerned, you don't have to take the senior and junior rule into consideration. I'm just an ordinary old man, if it wasn't for Old Madam Chang, not even the Chang Family gate I could enter. Otherwise, how dare I had a surname Chang? I always remember Old Madam Chang's kindness. You may treat me as an ordinary old man! No need to be shy!"
Old Madam Chang approached, with a small smile she said, "Andrew, you are mistaken. Rules are rules, we must abide by them. You're William and Lydia's Second Uncle, so don't start breaking the rules. After all, even though it wasn't me who delivered you, you are also descendants of the Chang Family. How do you compare to any ordinary person?"
Andrew with a friendly smile and a chuckle then replied, "That's true of what the Old Madam Chang said. You always are the wise one."
As he spoke, Andrew turned to look at William. Then his eyes reddened at once, while sobbing, he said, "My nephew, you are finally awakened. It must be a miracle, do you have any idea how happy I am? When I learned of your regaining consciousness, I immediately returned from abroad. Fortunately, you have recovered your senses. If only you didn't awake, what would happened to the Chang Family?"
William's face gradually displayed a mocking smile. "The Chang Family has you, Second Uncle. How come there's something wrong?"
Andrew wiped the tears off the corners of his eyes, he shook his head and said, "I know that with my own standing, there are many things I cannot help. If I help only slightly, it was the same as not helping at all. If I help a lot, I'm really scared that everybody is going to suspect that I have malice intentions. But I'm sure you're aware that I don't mean any harm. Being able to stay in the Chang Family was the biggest wish I ever had. I'm worried somebody with bad intentions is trying to lead us to believe that we have a bad relationship. This Second Uncle is so afraid that you may have misunderstood me. You should know how much I value this family more than myself."
"You shouldn't say that. I always believe in you, Second Uncle." William said with a little grin.
The corners of Lydia's lips were also raised with a small smile, but her heart was icy. It was terrifying, Andrew and William seemed to have a happy and harmonious conversation, but behind them there were full of murderous intentions.
Andrew's face once again displayed an honest and friendly grin. Accompanied with laughter, he said to William, "Oh yeah, your other family member, they're very happy to know you're awake. They'd like to come and see you. Everybody's concerned about you. They were worried about your condition at the moment. Earlier on the phone, Grandmother's sister said, she's afraid that your physique is difficult to recover as before..."
William's corner of his mouth stood up and he smiled, "I am sorry that I have worried you all. Today, the doctor did a physical exam of every part of my body. He said that there was nothing wrong and that my physical condition would improve as before."
"Sure, my brother William's body seems stronger than it used to be." A heavy man's voice suddenly came out of nowhere.
The man's voice was the kind of deep and low voice that women liked very much. Lydia felt very familiar with that voice, as if she had heard it somewhere. She swiftly turned her head and went in the direction of that voice. Then she saw a handsome face, with a great stature, wearing a casual style walking to their direction.
This man's face was very good-looking, not in any way inferior to William's face. But its nature is quite opposed to that of William. William's slanted eyes that rose slightly like eyes of phoenix, with a tall and strong posture. He had thin lips and short black hair with a bangs. Not to mention William's cold face. But that man with eyes as big as peach blossoms, he was tall but not as tall as William. He had dark brown hair and thick lips. He looked cultured and behaved in a friendly manner.
If someone compared with the seasons, William resembles a very cold and dark winter. But on the other side, that man looked like a hot, blazing summer.
Some people might liked the summer time, but Lydia prefers the winter time. Lydia sensed that although winter sounded cold and dark, but there was soft snow waiting outside. The summer was warm and burning, but the summer rains were ferocious and cruel. And within Lydia's heart, there was no better time than winter. When the snow has flown out, she can lied down on the couch in the house. Then she could drink a cup of hot chocolate, eat a light sugary snack, while watching a popular drama show. Lydia did not need anyone to accompany her, but she was able to feel complete happiness during this period.
It was the same with men, even if William seemed cold and insensitive, sometimes he said mean words that made Lydia somewhat afraid of him. But Lydia detests men who were indecent and arbitrary, more like men with handsome face, she detests it so much. There was almost a kind of prejudice that handsome men always played with women hearts. Once she saw such a man, it was immediately apparent that the man was using his good-looking appearance to mislead an innocent woman's heart.
Thus, when Lydia saw the appearance of that man, her eyebrows furrowed automatically. But soon and rapidly she released her eyebrows again, keeping a woman's modesty, calm and nobility composure.
Andrew turned around and watched that man with his eyes wide open, and he said, "Tyler, my son, have you come back already? How long you been around? Why not tell us about it? We can send a car to pick you up!"
