When Lydia woke up, that was already morning. She opened her eyes and saw herself occupied the whole large bed in an unknown manner, and William not at her side! "Oh my God, last night I definitely slept at the edge of the bed. How do I wake up in the middle of the bed? Could it be that William's sleep was disturbed because of me? Was he angry with me, what should I do now?" Lydia was panicking because she didn't feel right about last night.
"Damn it! He already has to guess, that a man and a woman without feeling towards each other if they slept together was an extremely inappropriate thing! He must be shocked to see a woman but to have a bad sleeping posture! Wasn't it last night before we went to bed that we had a better relationship? I will apologize to him later." Lydia was determined to apologize to William for her sleeping posture last night.
Lydia stood up right away, went down from the bed and put on her sandals. But when she put on her sandals, William got out of the bathroom.
He watched Lydia distraught and spoke coldly, "Later, a maid will deliver the breakfast here. Grandma provided a private car for you, the chauffeur's phone number is on the table. See for yourself."
"That... last night, did I bother you?" asked Lydia, watching William attentively. William banged his lips and kept his mouth shut. Shortly afterwards, he looked at Lydia and asked back, "Oh? What are you asking? Do you think you did something wrong?"
Lydia secretly glanced at William's expression. She watched him and nodded her head. "When I was asleep last night, is it possible that I was disturbing you? I mean, my sleeping..."
"Bother me?" William suddenly interrupted when Lydia spoke. "Miss Ahn, did you realize that a little too late? When I was still in a coma, you should have known that. Did you not feel strange, when you suddenly awoke a stranger coming out of your bed?" William responded with an irritated tone.
Lydia frowned, slammed on her lips, and wished to explain. But by the time she saw William, her voice wasn't coming out. Lydia felt guilty, because the victim of everything was William. He was forced to marry someone he was completely unfamiliar with, even though he was in a coma. Moreover, when he wakes up, he should be ready to become a father for the continuation of the Chang Family lineage. After William woke up, he was forced to accept everything. Lydia was thinking from William's perspective in his place and felt that she could not accept that either.
"Sorry." Lydia said quietly. There wasn't anything Lydia could do other than apologize.
William looked up and set his sights on Lydia. Then he shook his head slowly and spoke, "I just realized that you have some talent, after all. For example, your ability to make an apology for everything was great. If Grandmother seeing us right now, she would think that I was harassing you."
Lydia frowned and caught a glimpse of William. She lowered her head and groaned inwardly. "What the heck is this William? Why can't whatever I do make him satisfied. Obviously, I've considered his feelings? I even apologized to him, even though it wasn't entirely my fault. He had the good fortune to be born in the Chang Family, otherwise someone like him would have been alone for the rest of his life. What a difficult person to get along with! No wonder people said he was arrogant and cold! He turned out to be so haughty! What a cold one!"
"What are you thinking?" William saw her drop her eyes and asked her in a high tone.
Lydia raised her head and saw William, and immediately bowed her head. Of course, she could not tell the grief that she actually meant in her heart. All she could do only mutter quietly, "I was thinking, now the Chang Family is aware of our relationship, what if they say it to an outsider? Or, if I encountered them by chance, what should I do?"
"I'm just asking you to keep your mouth shut, not to worry about anybody else." William walked into the study and turned on the laptop.
Lydia remained silent for a moment. She sighed and mumbled quietly. "So, the promise about not to tell the outsider about our relationship, only spesific for me alone? That sounds... like a fair agreement."
"Ha? What did you say?" William shrunk his eyes and stared at Lydia.
Lydia immediately took a step backward, shook her head in a hurry and said with a smile, "I... I'm, it's nothing, I never said anything. I figured it was morning already. I should have changed and left sooner, otherwise I'll be late."
After Lydia finished talking about it, she rushed into the bathroom. William smiled a bit at Lydia's reflection, dropped his eyes and drank hot tea.
Each minute of interaction with William in the room made Lydia nervous. Lydia was trying to cool off by taking a bath as quickly as possible. She cleaned her face and then her teeth. After that, she wore her makeup, and changed clothes at the quickest pace.
When she finished changing, Lydia chose to skip breakfast so she could leave William's room as soon as possible. But unfortunately, William realized that Lydia was hesitant to eat the breakfast that had been made. William who knew about it then called Lydia. "Where you headed to? The chef at this residence tried to cook you breakfast, but you didn't eat it?"
Lydia replied frantically at the time, "It looks like I'll be late if I have to have breakfast first."
"Oh I see, obviously Miss Ahn is used to being fed. Do you want me to feed you?" William replied in a slightly mocking tone.
After hearing William's response, Lydia was instantly shocked and her face blushed. She was confused about the answer, as she had been teased by William. Finally, she decided to have breakfast prepared and eat in a hurry. "Well... I'm eating right now. I can eat on my own, not need your help."
Without further ado, Lydia tried to finish her food as quickly as she could. Lydia didn't munch on her food, just tried to swallow it right away. William, who saw Lydia in a hurry to finish breakfast, could not help but chuckle while he continued to drink his hot tea.
After finishing breakfast, Lydia got ready to leave the bedroom and go to work. Suddenly, William's voice called out her name.
"Huh? What is this?" Lydia immediately turned towards William. William walked to the front door and approached Lydia. Lydia walked nervously backwards and frantically asked, "What haven't I done this time?"
William reached out and put a card into Lydia's hand. He was saying quietly. "You forgot to bring the number of the driver."
Lydia immediately held the card tightly. She then nodded her head and said, "Thank you."
Then Lydia turned around and came down the stairs. After leaving the Chang Residence and getting in the car, Lydia just felt relieved. Later on, she was taking a deep breath. Lydia raised her hand and clapped her own head. She felt completely helpless.
"Why did I always fear William so much?" she muttered in her heart.
