Eve stared at Noah fearfully before deciding that it was better to follow a random man than to wake up to see the horrors of a rich one.
"Uh… where will you take me?" Eve asked nervously while grabbing Noah's hand.
"Where do you live?" Noah asked back. "I'll drop you off right there."
"But that would mean that you'll know where I live…" Eve murmured.
Noah was still able to hear her as he grinned. "Looks like you are not too dumb. Perhaps a bit naive but that can be changed with time. I'll instead drop you off at your workplace."
Before Eve could say anything, Noah knocked her unconscious. It was probably one of the worst moves you can make while pursuing a woman but Noah wasn't doing that
Only by knocking out Eve could he directly teleport away without anyone witnessing it. Noah didn't want anyone getting suspicious of his powers.
'Though I did use teleportation during the ceremony, Erika provided me cover.' Noah thought as he appeared directly inside his unoccupied house.
He put Eve down on the floor before taking a deep breath.
'If other spirit magicians know of my existence this early on, everything will be fked.' Noah thought calmly before opening his eyes and waking Eve up.
"Eeek!" Eve shrieked before looking at Noah with surprise. She took a glance at her surroundings as her eyes widened in shock. "How did I get here?"
"Through magic."
"That's obvious…" Eve gave him a slightly judging look.
"If it was obvious, why ask?" Noah raised an eyebrow before hauling Eve to her feet.
The latter couldn't find any sort of reply to Noah's question as she silently followed him through the house.
Noah led her to his former room before approaching the window and opening it. He then looked back at Eve and gestured for her to jump out of the window.
"What happened to the door?" she questioned curiously while slipping out of the window.
"It's locked," Noah replied with a blank expression.
The two of them got to Wacdonalds this way and once Noah had made sure that Eve was safe, he decided to take his leave.
"Wait, tell me your name at least!" Eve said before Noah could walk away to find an alley to teleport.
"Noah." He replied with a wink before walking away.
Eve stared at him with parted eyes as she had heard the name before. Noah could be called a celebrity inside the city and almost everyone inside it knew his name.
However, very few knew how he looked.
'The news should slowly start spreading to the other parts of the kingdom,' Noah thought silently before slipping into the shadows and teleporting away.
He had already started experiencing minor headaches after teleporting to his house but the one he had done now stimulated his headache to a great extent.
Noah felt like clawing his head open yet was able to resist the sensation through sheer willpower.
'Let's see. Once the other spirit magicians come to know of me, they will definitely try to meet me. But once 'he' realizes that I have a time affinity, things would go to hell…'
In his previous life, Noah had always felt a mysterious power inside him.
Only after hearing Aiko's words did he realize that it was his time affinity that had been dormant inside his body due to his pure human bloodline.
'It was still a wonder how he managed to sense my hidden affinity.' Noah wondered while making his way to Stella's office.
Once he had reached his destination, his headache had once again reverted back to a minor one constantly hurting the side of his head.
"You found everything I needed?" Noah inquired as he saw Stella seating on a chair with a bored expression.
"You took your sweet time getting here." She grumbled before standing up and handing Noah ten files.
The latter skimmed through a few of them before nodding in acknowledgment.
"Nice doing business with you," Noah said before he turned towards the door and was about to leave the door.
However, Stella stopped him by placing her hand on his shoulder.
"Before you leave, I just want to ask you to come here again. I would like some more of that massage~" Stella said seductively.
"I'll think about it in the future. Until then, goodbye Stella." Noah replied before walking towards the door.
His answer was neither a yes nor a no.
"We'll meet again for sure, Noah Kairo~" Stella smirked as she saw a slight twitch in Noah's right jaw before he left the room and walked away.
'I should be careful around such women. Avoiding people for so long has decreased my senses.' Noah thought while casually walking out of the brothel and entering an alley.
He flipped the token he had gotten from earlier and appeared in the alley he had gone into after dropping Eve.
The token had taken him to the last place he had been present in the city before entering the black market.
'I'll just fly back home.' Noah thought with a sigh before activating his invisibility skill alongside 'Hermes sandals'.
He flew straight into the air before making his way to Izzy's house.
Noah arrived at his destination a few minutes later as he walked inside the house with a tired expression.
The first thing he did was to enter his room and get into the shower. Noah spent a good twenty minutes inside the shower as his headache completely vanished.
After drying off, Noah threw his clothes in the laundry where his mother's clothes were lying.
'I guess both of us are quite lazy.' Noah smirked as he knew that Erika could wash and dry the clothes in a matter of minutes.
He could do the same thing yet neither of them were in the mood to do so. Noah knew that the clothes would probably collect until they will out of fresh clothes to wear.
Noah threw a towel over his bottom before getting out of the shower. He was about to take out fresh clothes from his back but what awaited him was Erika calmly sitting on the bed.
"So, what took you so much time?" she asked while raising an eyebrow. Erika also threw Noah his clothes simultaneously.
"Let's just say that I took a few… detours," Noah replied as he caught his clothes.
"Tell me about these detours of yours after we finish dinner. Go wear those clothes," Erika suddenly smirked. "Also, you'll be surprised to see what dark element can do to pubic hair."
"Eh?" Noah blinked in surprise as Erika left the room. But before doing that, she winked at him.
Noah opened the quest menu and looked at the reward part with a sigh.
'I definitely need to know more about this timeline. Who knows what awaits me here.'
