Chapter 13 - The awakening - Part 2 The Struggles

Free to go, Ciaran can now relax, he knows he can fly home, go back to work and start a future whatever that may be. Life was quick in Spain there was always sun, always good times until there aren't good times.

For Ciaran he was faced with an impossible situation, had it happened 6 months before he would have likely received a long custodial sentence in Gibraltar but we will come back to that, first we will talk about what happened in them six months.

Booking the flight to go over to help his sister, Ciaran's intention was to fly over and prioritise his sister a hundred percent, whatever that may look like, he had booked a one-way ticket because he wasn't sure how long he was needed.

It was around a week in to him being there when his sister asked if he really needed to go home, the correct answer was yes, legally he needed to go and serve the remaining seven month's probation, work wise no as he was working for an agency and had not committed to any further shifts at that point.

He had agreed and no arm twisted needed, he decided not to tell his probation officer straight away and started looking for work, he was very fortunate that someone within her network had hurt his back and need help restoring properties for a few weeks, because of his capabilities the boss had decided to take further jobs on and give Ciaran more permanent work for as long as he wanted.

Ciaran had started to become established in Gibraltar and that is required to get anywhere there and it wasn't long before he was able to get in to the hospitality trade, that's where it went wrong from there.

Ciaran's first job was in a restaurant on a marina in the prominent area of Gibraltar, he was fired on his second induction shift, he had meant to be shadowing someone for his first two shifts but both shifts he had not only been left alone, the new supervisor Juan who had just been promoted was struggling to manage, Ciaran had decided to step in and that did not go down well.

Forty-five minutes in to his second shift, Juan had pulled him aside and as good as shouted at him, Ciaran had gone to the head chef because the tapas menu had finished and there was a table of seven women who had been set on tapas while they had their conversations, the head chef had agreed to serve them tapas and after letting the guest know, Ciaran went and updated the Juan, he went mad and sent Ciaran home.

His next job wasn't so bad, he started working Las iguana's first international restaurant in Gibraltar, but when the job wasn't so bad, some of his colleagues were insufferable to work with. While Ciaran would be working off an order list on a screen to his right, his colleagues would be stood on the opposite side of the bar demanding other drinks further on the list and yes, they may have been easy to make or just grab, but not only would it be disruptive when it comes to the order screen, the items they were demanding had been beers, we are a cocktail bar and prioritising beers over premium cocktails is defiantly bad for business.

Ciaran had enough one night, it had only been nine on a Friday night when he reached boiling point, he had two people shouting at him for drinks, he went to the general manager and told him he needs to make it stop, he told him if he doesn't like it, he can go home so you could guess what he done, he grabbed his stuff and walked out.

The following day the general manager called him and asked him to go in to the restaurant and talk Ciaran agreed and went in a couple of hours later. They were able to come to a comprise for Ciaran's return and Ciaran agreed to attend his shift the following day.

Ten minutes in to his shift, one of the more prolific colleagues that continued to shout at Ciaran had started on in, this happened in front of the general manager, but it wasn't until Ciaran reacted that the general manage said anything and it was to Ciaran to calm down. The general manager had left and it had just gone downhill from there, it was deep clean day and Ciaran decided he was going to start on the soft drink fridge, he could be out of the way and of view.

He could hear the bloke he was having trouble with talking about him to someone else, Ciaran told them he could hear him and he started speaking Spanish. One of the things he had kept saying to Ciaran was no half measures whenever he forgot a garnish of straw with a cocktail, so when the bloke hand only cleared half a table and then came in to make a tea, Ciaran took the opportunity to say it back to him and another thing that didn't go down well.

The bloke had started threatening Ciaran, telling him that he was going to return when he was due to finish work and beat me up, Ciaran to get loud now telling him why wait, they were both their now so why not now, the shift supervisor then told him to calm down. Ciaran asked why she had not said anything to him and her reply was that she had not heard him yet, he was stood in between us at relatively equal distance.

Ciaran walks up to one of the I-Pads to clock out when the supervisor puts her hand in the when and begs him not to quiet, Ciaran walks to another I-Pad to clock out where she done the same so he goes to grab his stuff and leaves but just after he left, he released that he had forgot his glasses so he had to go back. Ciaran walks in to the restaurant and in to the cellar to get his sunglasses and then walks back out not saying a word but his head held high.

He then went on to work for an agency and was contracted to waiter at Gibraltar's most prestigious hotel, he didn't last long, he had kept being told to stop talking to the guest unless they spoke to him and the trouble with that, because of his British accent most of the guest were asking him questions and starting conversations. The final straw was when they wanted him to wash all the porcelain with bleach in the glass wash machine and not only that, they wanted him to polish glass with a small amount of washing up liquid in hot water.

Then next job Ciaran had was a waiter in a restaurant at a leisure centre, nearly all of the staff either couldn't or wouldn't speak English and they were all lazy, he had done some shifts in the night club above, that's where what I was talking about at the start of the story and again back to that later. Ciaran had been fired because of that incident.

But during all this Ciaran stood stronger after each job, he went there with his sister being priority, what he found is they shared it and they had both help each other heal, he now had the responsibility to uphold it and more for himself then his sister, it was more important for his sister because of her employment.

But in facing all the struggles with the jobs and the incident, Ciaran found the power within him, when someone that has lived a life of trauma and keeps receiving blow after blow, he had also been of his medications that help with his though and mood for a while, finds the strength to not only live through blow after blow and not only live through but not let the emotional effects bother him for long.

This was when Ciaran had decided to move in to Spain and it wasn't long before Ciaran got a job at an Irish themed bar. The time spent around the people he had met there, as well as the time he spent with himself, creating a life that he was happy with, he took up a new hobby that at the time he was aware of what it would mean to him in the future.

When it comes to healing there is no limit and he dived right in, for Ciaran the more he faced his demons, the more knowledge and one of the main things Ciaran had said for years "knowledge is power".

What Ciaran didn't know was that with his love for healing through meditation, frequencies crystals and earth stones, he became aware of his soul purpose, he is a Dark Empath and a healer, he even uses methods such as Tarot and witchcraft and with his practices, he become more aware of his path and that path led to his return to England.

But Ciaran could not have achieved so much if it wasn't for his sister's support and guidance, as well as her patience and she had also provided an environment where he could fully relax for the first time in his life. His sister's guidance led to his awakening.

Ciaran's path after his return to England will be released in over several parts at a later date.
