Bam was leaning on the wall, his eyes on his cellphone and smirking devilishly. Chuan yanked him and parted from the wall.
"We are done right?"
Hu pointed out the way and directly walked to the elevator.
Ding!
The door slid open. But it was full, two familiar people featured them, one was Dr. Melissa Chen and the other was Edward Chen, Anastasia's father.
Walking out, that flourished face of Bam ran murky. This couple, he disliked to see them.
"Mr. Chen, what a coincidence!"
Dr. Chen pouted, she didn't wait to greet him, this man's sister had beaten her daughter and ruined her nose. Anastasia was strong that she could stand up this soon.
"It seems, we had upset your wife."
Hu stated, he had guessed that this crafty couple might attend on his way. Half of Green Hospital belonged to them.
"Good to see you, Qin Hu! Don't mind that, she was scared seeing our daughter with a bloody face. I see that you visited your brother."
Hu shook his head, this man already checked with security and received a call from them regarding his presence.
"Not for Qiang, this time. He must be punished for his awful addiction of making mistakes. I came here to visit lady Anastasia. By the way, we couldn't congratulate you on the engagement. You surprised us all."
The Merchant was a tall but chubby man, his head bald with glowing skin that could reflect the light. His wife was beautiful, but there was no image of her before the surgery.
"I appreciate your favor, are you rushing? We can have some coffee together." Turning to the other boys said, "you didn't attend the feast, I would like to have a conversation with you, I've heard that Mr. Qin is in the town."
'Father is here?' Hu was stunned, his eyes traveled on the boys they were amazed too. If they knew, they wouldn't hold it in their tummy.
Hu had no relish spending time with them, the priority was to find the video and get Dan to a good doctor. On the other hand, he saw Mr. Yang's car in the parking which meant his guess was right. They wanted to use a wind-brought opportunity to push up with Mr. Yang's influence.
"Maybe some other time, I have things to do. I hope your daughter gets well soon."
Bowing his head, they got inside the VIP elevator. Not even trading a word, as the elevator had the technology to record with voice.
'Father, what are you doing here? He would always inform me. He must be in the Villa now. Startled by seeing Maria there.'
He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose, getting out of the elevator, they went to Victor who was beside the car, his face was pale.
"My mother called, Master is in the Villa."
"I know, Victor, we will go to my apartment, it is close. Bam must work on something, then we will go to the Villa."
Victor nodded and they got inside the car.
"Could you take all the data off her phone?"
Hu asked.
"She will implore to you, I heard everything through your phone, she denied but obvious was it, she is lying."
"Yes, she was laying. She was frightened too, but I guess she has something about me that she would want to expose soon. I heard from a close source that merchant Chen had me on his list for his devil daughter."
"Karma! It had beaten Qiang for his treason."
But Hu couldn't focus now, it had concerned him why his father came quietly without informing him but this merchant knew it. Was a predicament before them?
"Bam, take the video from her and every evidence related to us. Ruin her data and devices with a virus."
Bam winked, he would make certain that the witch would not harm sister Dan and Bella.
"Don't worry brother, I will do something to her that no one ever can bring her stuff back."

Back to the Villa, Maria grabbed Dan's hand, "are you alright, my darling?"
Dan blushed, this woman was now her mother-in-law, she was a very nice woman and her tenderness could bridle a heart. Perhaps, she could be the mother she always pleaded with God to have.
"I... I am sorry, the fray began because of me."
The woman's eyes ran even more caring. Tears glinted, and hugged Dan, "after what I heard, your heart must be broken."
After being alone, Dan asked Bella to tell the truth to her mother. They had the right to know about Qiang and Dan. Besides Anastasia was the snake that crept into a friend's skin.
"I will come with you for the experiments, I have a friend who has a private lab. She can help us. But promise me to stay healthy, no fight again, okay?"
Dan nodded, unwanted tears had been traveling over her cheeks. The woman released her from her arms and turned to Bella, "don't worry about your father, I will convince him not to nag about you being away. But keep your studies appropriate, promise?"
"Yes, mother. You have my words, I will take care of Dan and my studies, but please do not tell father when he is panicked."
Dan rolled her head down, "can we keep it between us? I am being shy if Mr. Yang looks at me in another way."
Squeezing her hand Maria accepted, "In my opinion, this must remain between us for now," asking Bella, "how did your brother realize?"
"When she didn't pick my call, I found no one but him to trust."
"You did well, last night the air was terrible. She has a bit of fever."
Dan bit her lower lip, yet dangled with her two-sided desires, she would want to make Maria close to her son, due to what Hu expressed about her past, and they were close and this could bring many things with it. Should she tell Maria about her marriage? She loved her, but could she accept this despite having someone else's child?
Swallowing her urge, she closed her eyes, and opened her mouth, "we are not done yet, Mr. Qin proposed to me that night and we got married."
She didn't dare to open her eyes and discern the woman's shocked face, instead, two warm palms rested on her cheeks passionately.
"He couldn't find a wife better than you."
Her eyes lashes shuddered. Tears shimmered and fell.
"Open your eyes, I always loved you, you look very good with my son. You will warm his heart. I know it."
Dan opened her eyes and at the same time Bella rushed to them, they all needed a hug. She was scared when Dan showed this courage but also happy that her mother would cover them. It had lessened the heavy burden.
"Mrs. Yang, we have guests," Xue announced from outside of the room that was given to Bella.
