Receiving the message from Dan, Hu felt that his head heated, and his heart was about to make a huge explosion.
[Your father is here, can you please come back.]
'Father! What brought you here?' The clamors in his head increased and scraped his nerves. He was behind the penthouse's door.
"Victor, we must go back," he turned back and rushed to the elevator.
Victor ran after him.
"Hey, what about us! What is going on?"
Bam growled but Chuan dragged him inside.
"There must be something urgent, let's work on this, you made me a curious cat!"
Inside the elevator, Hu drove a hand in his hair, hardly he could gasp for air.
"Master Qin, who was that?"
He could not think appropriately, why would this girl's first message be like this. She seemed panicked, and his father was not a soft man to treat them well.
Getting out of the elevator, he couldn't leave this to Victor to drive them back home.
"Give me the remote."
Victor hastily obeyed and gave him the remote. Getting inside, he started the engine and a moment later it was the whistle of tires that resonated in the parking.
Pressing on the gas pedal, he swallowed but his mouth was dried.
"Is there a problem at home!"
Victor felt the goosebumps, he only showed such reaction when disasters were dancing overheads.
"My father is in Villa."
He made it brief and it was already beyond his tolerance. Using the streets with less traffic, twenty minutes later they were beyond the railing gateway. Pressing on the remote, it ran wide. The security guard came out of his cabin when he saw the young master entering like a flash of light.
Hu tossed the remote to Victor and stormed up the stairs but before entering the house, he halted behind the door.
'Father, you won't force me to marry Anhe, would you?'
He saw the girl's car by the door, she wasn't in the hospital and now he realized how Mr. Chen had the clue of his father's presence. Anhe told him about this matter.
Grabbing the doorknob, he pressed it down, entering the corridor, he turned left. He could hear his father's voice from the living room.
"Lady Anhe is beautiful, I am sure, she suits well with Mr. Qin!"
It was Dan's voice that came outside. His heart shuddered beyond the door, these words were enough to torment him. Yes, she didn't love him but as his wife, why would she say that? Would she simply sacrifice herself for his father's wish? He never loved Anhe and saw her as a friend, nothing more.
Clenching his fist, he pushed the door and went inside. Changing that furious face with a calm one.
"Father, what a surprise!"
While everyone was shocked by the figure that just emerged, Zihao jumped up from the chair and rushed to his brother. Hugging him as hard as he could, he looked up, and his eyes sparkled. His older brother was always a hero to him since others had different types of heroes. For him, it was always Hu.
Rebecca's lips twitched, but she rapidly replaced them with an artificial smile. But Maria saw it. The whole time she took this woman under watch, the woman that Bella hated the most for misbehavior and taunts that she threw at Hu. Her daughter was pointing out right, this woman was tricky.
Dan felt the joy that screamed inside her heart, Bella's hand touched her numbed fingers. He had come back despite being busy, just for the message she had sent. Did he truly care about her? Why on the earth did she reject to work with him and trusted Qiang? He used to play with her, using beautiful words but he never proved it in his actions. The whole time being with him was veiled by stress and anxiety.
"Son, you arrived early! I was talking to your guests."
Master Qun Bin called them guests, but Bella wasn't sure if they were considered guests for her brother. He once said that Bella, Zihao, and Dan are his family, the true ones. However, first of all, was always Dan. The girl he was crazy about.
Patting Zihao's head, his hand rested on his shoulder.
"Thank you for bringing my brother."
His father sighed, "he is the only one you always prefer. Come, join our chat."
Hu walked forward and took his seat. Quickly snatched a look at his mother who had taken her place beside Dan. Why did her expression have changed? She didn't look like this in the morning, her complexion was exactly what he could remember from his childhood.

After the rituals of greeting, his father looked at Dan and trailed off, "Your sister's friend believes that our lovely Anhe is pretty."
Anhe blushed and her lips slightly parted to speak, but she changed her mind when she saw how Hu was looking at the girl.
"Lady Dan is so nice to people, don't you think that way father?"
"We just met, but as it came across, she is. As you know, Anhe's birthday is on the same day as your brother's. The families had decided to hold it together."
Dan was trying not to cry, right there. It felt awful to be the extra wheel in this gathering.

Anhe stated, killing the quake in her voice. She was embarrassed but should have come here, keeping her guard down.

Hu thought, he would never be trapped by this girl again, he would never let Rebecca ride her horse in his field again.
