"What happened? I've believed you would calm her down."
"Mom, I made a huge mistake. I haven't told her that Hu was my brother before, and I was reporting to him about her matters. Now she believes that I was spying on her, but my friendship was real with her. I knew that if she realizes the truth this will happen but I handled it to get close to my brother. But mom, Hu loves her, I did this to make my relationship close with my brother, now I feel guilty."
Maria shook her head, ah, Bella! This wasn't good.
"Anastasia knew about this?" Maria Yang asked.
"Mom? Why do you ask? I say I've told her the truth behind our friendship! What are you saying!"
"Her mother said once that she was in love with Qiang since she enrolled in law university. Anyway, they knew each other before you girls meet them. Maybe I am wrong and she was a true friend until she couldn't resist her heart."
Bella's body chilled. Why was it so twisted? What her mother meant was dangerous.
"Be careful, Bella. Dan has vague memories of her past, she is pregnant and sensitive now, and we are responsible for this condition; go tend to her, I will talk to your brother when his guests take their leave."
Bella nodded and went to the back stairs that led up to Hu's chamber.
'I hope what I assumed is wrong, did Anastasia abuse, Dan and Hu, to reach her goal? That girl was as greedy as her parents.' Maria thought. It was giving her a headache.

Inside the room, Dan was embracing her knees, drowning in her spattered flying thoughts.
'I am sinking inside a void, in a life full of mysteries which I have no clue how to unlock, I can't even control my heartbeat! I can't drag down these people with me. I don't have the right!' The breeze flew inside, dancing with the white lace curtain, nuzzling her burning face.
She was peering at the sky, it was getting cloudy again. She loved the rain, but either time it was raining heavily, her heart became cloudy too, with frantic clouds that used to roar, darkening her life with no mercy.
Clenching the doorknob, the door clicked open and Bella walked inside. She didn't want to knock and be refused. Besides, it wasn't locked, Dan never acted like a snobbish child.
Slowly, she approached and took her seat on the floor behind the bed, where Dan was leaning! Dan's eyes were full of wandering tears that couldn't leave her sight.
"I am truly sorry, Dan, I know it can't be a good excuse but I always loved you as my sister. The sister I've never had to share my misery with."
She glanced at where Dan was staring and bit her lip, "you were the only one who discovered my secrets and my weakness. You were the only way I could get close to my brother. You mean too much to me, that was why I wanted to protect you."
Her fingers curled in her blue jeans.
"I feel that I am lost, diving in a gap that I see no light!" She paused to swallow her gulp.
"I don't know anyone, I don't even know myself, what can be worse than this? Before I discover who I am, I am growing another life in me. Am I capable of it? To be a mother?"
Bella's eyes averted on her, she turned to her, snatching her fingers that were as frigid as ice.
"I don't know how you want to face this throughout life, but I won't leave you. Not for feeling guilty about hiding things from you but for the love I have for you. Dan, my brother is not a bad man, all I know is there are secrets about your past, dangerous things and he wants to keep you safe. I trust him, so can you trust him, can't you?"
Dan's eyes moved on her, "Anastasia, why did she betray me? The moment we told her about Qiang and me, she exposed a happy face. What happened then? How should I tell Qiang that I am pregnant? Should I even tell him that I carry his child?"
Bella shook her head, "no wait until we visit a doctor. Please forgive me, Dan! I can't live like this."
"I forgave you. But what should I do for your brother? See, his father came along with a pretty woman, do you think he can accept me?"
"Hu has told you about his friendship with your father, hasn't he?"
"I don't think we can relate this together. "
Dan thought it was right, these two were whole different things, and they couldn't predict what would be the outcome of what they had accomplished.

Inside Hu's office, his father sat at the table, while his son was on the other side.
"Well, I hear you, tell me that this similarity of her surname is just a coincidence."
Hu drummed his fingers on the arm of his chair. His eyes were on the glassy table, thinking about what Dan would feel after hearing him mention a girlfriend, of course, it would be her, his wife.
"Not similarity! I found her years ago in an orphanage. That was a coincidence because I searched everywhere and when I was disappointed, it appeared to me. I came here secretly, just to find her."
"Why is she here then? Why did not you tell me?" His expression had gotten sour, he was squeezing the pen he picked from the table.
"I was about to call you, but you came here!"
The man smashed on the table, bending on the table, "Hu don't play with me! It has been years passed since you know, if I wasn't coming today, then you wanted to delay again. Do you know that if you put her in front of cameras, her life will be at the ridge?"
"She had lost her memory, I cleaned every trace that could drag her enemies to us. Just relax, father."
The man spread on the leather chair, pinching his nose bridge!
"I realized that something is wrong the moment she didn't recognize me. The girl had killed three men and escaped, it was all I discovered."
"A car had crashed her on the road, the man took her with him. This is how they couldn't find her. Her face has changed, they can't recognize her."
Hu wasn't sure to tell him about the marriage case but it wasn't the right time.
"She is my girlfriend, I have to keep her close to me."
A pair of eyes darted on him, fiercely, "you love her! You did it since that summer."
Hu's complexion was serious, he never had joked with his father. Especially, about the women of his life.
"I can't accept this!" His father added, frankly.
