After talking with Loe for a while Chi found himself anxiously heading down the hallway to Tyson's room as he suggested him to do. He was not sure what was in the room that Loe thought he would find to help him understand Tyson a bit more. Shaking slightly as he did not know what to expect when he got there. His hand raised and back straight he began to tap his knuckles against the thick wooden door. Not hearing a response after a while he began to wonder if Tyson was even in there. If he was he might have not heard him so he cautiously pushed the door open.
"Tyson?" Chi called out as he peaked his head in through the crack of the door he'd opened.
Still without a response he opened the door further and stepped inside the room. From the floor to the ceiling the room was neat and tidy. No matter what it was everything in the room was lined up in place as if the person who slept in it had trouble dealing with dirt of any kind. It was not something he would have expected from Tyson's room given how brutal the man was when killing and hunting for food. Even the floor below seemed as if it had been polished as it reflected the blue light that shone in through the bedroom window from the crystals outside.
Unlike other rooms in the house that were nearly bare except for wooden decorations Tyson's room had hand made textbooks, hand made art, and even personally sewn clothing from the leather of wild beasts. Beasts that he had taken down himself over the years. It almost felt like a normal bedroom for someone who couldn't stand having their things out of place. Walking over to the hand written textbooks he slowly traced his finger along them until one caught his eye. It seemed to be the oldest book on the shelf and yet the one most cared for.
Pulling the book out he opened it and began to look at the contents within it. At a glance Chi could tell instantly that everything inside was like a personal journal. There were no dates within it but it listed various information that Tyson had acquired about Numen's Garden over the years. He could not call it diary because there were no personal emotions in the writing. It was more like the person who wrote it obsessively wrote down every detail about the place from the places within the garden to the people he'd come across over the years and their roles within the dimension.
Has he been studying the place every time he comes here? It looks like he's even written down names of deceased.. Chi thought to himself as he scanned throughout the book.
"Have a good look?" Tyson's voice called out to him causing him to jump.
"Sorry! I saw nothing!" Chi reflexively shouted. Sliding the book behind his back in order to hide it as he turned around to face him.
Tyson was sitting on the window seal staring at him without his mask on. His usual black leather clothing was no where to be seen because he had changed into a pair of his lounge clothing since he was in Loe's mansion, a colorful kimono. It looked like he was debating on how to deal with his room being intruded upon causing Chi to shiver nervously.
Wait did he climb in through the window? Chi thought as he looked at the man. He had been alone in the room earlier but suddenly Tyson was climbing into his own room through the window.
"Give it." Tyson stretched out his hand to take the textbook back from Chi. He did not need to ask twice because the man quickly passed it to him in order to avoid further problems.
"What is that? Wait no.. Why are you in the window?!" Not knowing what to ask first Chi's voice seemed to be filled with panic.
"I often use my window when I come here to come and go.. but seriously.." Tyson did not want to explain things further about his own personal belongings so he tried to consider a way out of the situation he was in. He was not sure why Chi would look in his room but he was sure that Loe had something to do with it. That man had always enjoyed messing with him in different ways when it came to trying to pry.
"I wanted to check on you because you rushed off earlier when I was eating." Chi made up an excuse quickly to help cover the fact that Loe had been the one who sent him to Tyson's room after he finished eating.
"Little rabbit, you should know entering a wolf's den is dangerous." Tyson stood up and walked towards Chi causing the man to back up until his back was flat against the hand crafted book shelf that held dozens of hand written things. The smile on his face almost felt vindictive to Chi and yet there was something in his eyes that looked as though he was screaming in pain on the inside. Slamming his fist against the book shelf he leaned in close to Chi so that their faces were almost touching. Those golden eyes staring deep into Chi's own blue eyes. Chi could see clearly that Tyson was trying to hold something in that had him upset.
A dead silence filled the room as Tyson was caught off guard by Chi's movement. Before he had a chance to react Chi's arms had wrapped tightly around him causing his eyes to widen. He had been trying to intimidate the man so that he would simply leave the room and yet he had found himself being wrapped tight in his warm embrace. Lowering his eyes to look down at the top of the man's sand colored head he could only let out a faint sigh. He was not sure why he found it comforting.
"What are you doing?" Tyson asked him once the sudden surprise had left him.
"You're in pain." Chi stated as he continued to cling to the man so tight that his own face was buried into Tyson's chest. He knew that even if Tyson did not want to admit it he was hurting from something. It was written in his eyes even if it was something he wanted to hide from others.
"I'm not.." Gritting his teeth Tyson looked away from the awkward situation he felt like he was in.
"It's fine if you want to consider it as me just being crazy." Chi said giving the man and excuse so that he would feel less uncomfortable about him knowing that Tyson was in pain. If the man did not want to accept some one else knowing that he was hurting inside Chi was alright with him considering his hug as just a spur of the moment. He could label it as him just acting crazy right then. If it made him feel a bit better he was willing to call it that.
Is my little rabbit actually a little fox? What is this? Tyson thought to himself as he stood there. Placing his palm on the top of Chi's head so that he would calm down a bit. Tyson was not sure why he was acting so worried over him.
