Janette went through the passage accompanied by Stella to go meet Evans,
"My lady"Evans slightly bowed,janette bowed in return
"We shall begin from the garden"
"I will be delighted,lead the way then"janette replied
While janette was behind Evans,her eyes were searching for any escape route, therefore she wasn't paying attention to Evans.
"I guess you weren't paying attention to Evans"
janette jumped out of her skin because she wasn't expecting him to come right now.
"I thought you were going to be back by evenfall." janette said
"I never knew you could miss me this early " Carlos said Smirking
"I was indeed happy when I found out you weren't around,it gives me a feeling of safety"janette replied him looking straight into his eyes.
"A feeling of safety, you say"Carlos Said calmly
"This castle is surrounded with vampires,my dear Janette . If not for me you would have been somewhere else definitely not in this world" Carlos smirked when he sensed fear emitting from janette,her emotions were in rollercoaster.
"I see why they say education takes a part in someone's life .I therefore do not blame you for your dullard nature" Carlos deadpanned he knew she didn't attend an educational system.
Janette suddenly looked angrily at him but was still wary of him afterall,he is a King.
"Least I forget,what were you thinking before I arrived" Carlos asked because he felt her heartbeat hitched and it paced fast
"and why would you care "janette questioned back
"Everything concerning you is what I care about,I hope you weren't planning on escaping Janette " he said and looked deep into her eyes smirking.
"You can't escape from the claws of a big bad wolf and even you succeed, I will find you and bring you back here where you belong " Carlos said looking straight into her eyes without blinking.
Janette palm began to sweat, she used the small kerchief to wipe up her face
"if you may excuse me,My King , i think I will be on my way to my room,my feet are already sour."
while janette had turned her back to leave,
"janette.." Carlos called her.
"Do you in any case know someone in the council or maybe as an acquaintance "Carlos questioned her
Janette thought,
"Not that I know of,My king"
"hmm." Carlos wondered why the council will take up on the matter,when janette was not of the higher class .
"It won't be a problem if I escorted you back to your room " Carlos said this coming to stand beside Janette
" I'm sure you have a lot to do,I wouldn't want to bother you" janette said
"But I insist " Carlos said
When they got to the King's quarter,he followed janette to her room.
"Thank you,my King" she bowed about going in
"Words has reached my ears that someone has reported of your disappearance to the Council and I wonder who that might be,going against me..."carlos said rubbing his tongue against his protruded fangs
" I guess I've been too lenient" Carlos Concluded
"So why do you tell all this to me? "janette questioned.
"Smart aren't you?"Carlos said
"indeed i told you for a reason " he smirked
"I want you to exaggerate a little", he said twirling his hands
like saying you came on your own accord" Carlos Smiled with his fangs still protruded
"why would I do that,when I want to get out of here, away from you"
"I believe you have a friend ?"Carlos said trying to remember her name
"yes...Ariel, and her poor mother , you are a smart woman and knows what to do"Carlos said fiercely
"You wouldn't dare" janette said terrified because those were the two people she care about.
"Do not test me ,janette, I'm not someone good,I'm not nice therefore my words should not be taken for granted" he said this ,walking to his room in his quarters.
