Carlos went to the north to pay the king of welua a little visit , the journey took a total of three days.
"We meet again, Helen" Carlos said as he got down from his carriage as he sighted Helen.
Carlos looked beside her and found a very familiar man close to her.
"You quite look familiar,I cannot quite recall where we met" He said while clicking his teeth.
This was all amusing to Carlos , Carlos knew Andrew,He knew everything concerning Andrew for for some reasons he did not fancy him
"Andrew Morris,My lord" Andrew extended his hand for a handshake
Carlos looked at him and smiled
"I am sorry I do not shake just anyone nobody knows who is out to get me "
"We met on the hearing day for Miss Janette"Andrew continued
"I hope we get along well"
Carlos hated the way his Janette's name slid out of this man' mouth, like they had known themselves for a long time which could have not have been true , he knew Andrew fancied Janette.
"I hope we do too unless you give me a reason not to"
"We should go in " Helen said
"We do not want to keep the king of the north waiting" Carlos said heading into the throne room.
" Welcome ,Welcome King Carlos"He greeted Carlos warmly.The King of the North knew his Kingdom,welua, would not survive without the help of decarov hence his behaviour towards Carlos.The king of welua, Nicholas, loved every form of power and respect notwithstanding how it came about and therefore he respected Carlos for his achievements even though Carlos was much younger than him Decarov was one of the wealthiest kingdom in the four kingdoms but unfortunately the other two kingdoms are not as close as decarov and welua ,decarov and welua go way back
"Oh and Helen looking beautiful as always you never age"
helen bowed her head
"This is a new Council member , Council Morris"Helen introduced Andrew which Andrew responded by bowing his head
"I got your letter about your arrival,to what do I owe this visit"the king of welua said.He knew there was a problem because the council never visits except there is a disruption or disturbance in the four kingdoms .
"What can I offer you ,I can get fresh blood or you rather take from the source"
"Your people have gone rogue and have crossed over the border to my own kingdom , thereby killing the people "Carlos ignored his questions
"And I am intrigued to ask if you do not pay your men well or they just lack the capability, Nicholas.
Nicholas knew how Carlos was , brave and his most worst personality which is he is as blunt as a knife but for some reasons Nicholas never had a problem with it ,He prefer Carlos being blunt than being pretentious like the other two kings of the two lands.
"I am capable of paying my men well, Carlos, if there were rogues that escaped from my kingdom I would have been very much aware of that"
"Hmmm"was all Carlos said , he was already getting bored and needed to be done with this
He spoke"then who was involved in the death of the people in decarov some dead spirit I suppose "he asked sarcastically
"your land is the closest were's land to decarov unlike the other two kingdoms , if the rogues were really not from here ,the rogues from the other kingdoms would have reached your land first before heading towards decarov "
"The fact you are unaware there was no rogue implies the rogues left your land"
Helen knew Carlos has always been a smart man , she admired him for that.
"That's a good theory,I assure you I will look into the matter" Nicholas said
"We will take our leave now we are coming from a far distance" Helen spoke
"Lest I forget I heard from a source the witches are having another ritual"Nicholas said as his guests were about to take their leave
"I think the council needs to look into that"
"It is a first I am hearing this, I assure you we would look into it"was all Helen spoke
