Janette waited for Stella to arrive so at to hand over the letter to her while in the palace Janette felt like the only person she could trust was Stella
She heard a knock on the door,
"My lady it is time for lun..." Stella was about completing her words when the door hastily opened
"Stella I have been waiting for you"Janette said happily
"You could have just sent for me and I will be at your doorstep right away" Stella replied
"Thank you"was all Janette said
"What was the reason you seek me my lady" stella asked concerned because she saw how agitated and restless Janette was.
"Is there any way a person in the palace can send a letter out without the King's approval, it's just that... "Janette paused.
Janette saw how pale Stella became and spoke fast
"My friend Ariel need to know how I am fairing I don't want to keep her worried"
Stella nodded her head while she spoke
"My lady that will be a problem , it is not possible for any letter to leave here,the king has eyes and ears everywhere,I am truly sorry but I cannot help you."
"No worries then I will find another way"Janette smiled she knew no amount of plead would make Stella change her mind and she did not want to put Stella in trouble just as before.
Janette knew from this moment if she really wanted anything done she had to ask from the King.
Janette waited till evenfall to tell Carlos about the letter on the dinning table.
It was time for dinner ,Carlos and Janette sat close together.Janette was in her thought contemplating if she should ask the king was about the letter,
"Would you like to discuss anything with me my dear Janette"Carlos asked because he knew she was in her head and had barely touched her food.
Janette immediately came out from her thoughts
"Ahhn.... yess?"
"I wrote a letter to my friend and I would really appreciate it if you would send it out for me"
Carlos touched his jaw for sometime to consider what she has just asked,
"Is that all?"
"Ye..ess" Janette hesitated
Carlos did not know the content of the letter and he was still unsure if he could trust her the only reason he agreed to her demand was because he could toss the letter in the bin if the letter did not meet his expectations and his dear Janette would know nothing about it.
Carlos with his sharp hearing overheard what Janette asked the maid,if only the maid heeded to her , Janette ,her head would have been rolling over the floor but at the same time he was ecstatic because Janette realised if she needed something, she should go to him and only him.
"I would not be around for the week and when I get back , there is someone we need to meet"
"All your needs should be communicated through evans or Barret,but I guess to my knowledge you have not met him yet."
