Jackie watched in confusion as the red light began to grow bigger and brighter. It didn't take long for Jackie to realize that the light was getting closer. Adina moved to the right, stepping out of the way.
The light kept coming closer until Jackie was able to see that it was a man who looked to be on fire. The man was flying towards Jackie so quickly that from her sitting position, she had no time to move.
Jackie closed her eyes and waited for the impact to come. The impact never came. Jackie slowly opened her eyes. An all-black figure was standing in front of her.
The figure had red veins all over his body and was holding Alvis back with his hands. The figure punched Alvis back and grabbed Jackie. It dragged her back and away from Adina and Alvis. "Are you good?" it asked. The voice sounded familiar, though slightly muffled.
"It's me, Isaiah," the figure revealed. Isaiah helped Jackie to her feet and turned back towards Adina and Alvis. "Impossible," Alvis said, a shocked expression on his face. "I stabbed you through the heart." "You didn't do a good enough job," Isaiah replied.
"You take care of Adina and I take care of Alvis?" Isaiah asked Jackie. "Yeah," Jackie replied. Isaiah kneeled into a starting position. Instantly a red aura fired around him.
The aura was much more intense than it had ever been before. The energy being released was so intense and volatile that Jackie had to shield her face.
"Meteoric Burst!!" Isaiah yelled as he rushed forward at Alvis, releasing a massive shockwave behind him. Alvis widened his eyes in shock as Isaiah punched him in the face. The punch generated a massive shock that blasted Alvis back. Isaiah continued the assault.
He flew around Alvis at extreme speeds, punching and kicking Alvis. Jackie turned back to Adina, who was watching with a horrified look on her face. Adina shook her head and faced Jackie.
Adina began to ripple and contort. Her face was full of rage. Jackie watched as Adina began to grow to massive proportions. Adina stood 40 feet above Jackie with tentacles sprouting from her back.
"This ends here!" Adina shouted, raising a massive fist. "You're right, so outta the way!" Jackie yelled back. Jackie threw her dagger. It rolled along Adina's back arm as Adina slammed her fist into the ground.
Jackie slid under the fist and dragged her dagger along Adina's arm. The dagger cut the slime but did no permanent damage. Jackie jumped up onto the arm, picking up her dagger and dragging it across Adina's arm as well. The tentacles began to stab at Jackie.
Jackie weaved through the oncoming tentacles. Some of the remaining tentacles formed a wall, trying to block Jackie from going any further. "Kitsune," Jackie called. The fox spirit jumped up to Jackie's location immediately. It directed a beam of Chi at the wall, blasting a hole right through it. The hole began to close.
Jackie dove through the hole head-first and rolled to regain her footing. Jackie looked at Adina's chest to find what she was looking for, a solid ball. Jackie jumped up to Adina's head. "Prominence revolt!!!" she yelled, plunging her daggers into Adina's head.
Jackie dragged the chi-enchanted daggers down Adina's front, only clipping the ball and cracking it. Adina howled in pain and shook Jackie off her. Jackie landed on Kitsune and the two began to run to avoid being stabbed by the torrent of tentacles now falling upon them.
Isaiah was flying at monumental speeds while dragging Alvis along by the neck. Isaiah slammed him through asteroid after asteroid, melting them with the sheer amount of speed he was using.
Alvis struggled to get Isaiah's hands off his neck but found that Isaiah's grip was much too tight. Isaiah grabbed Alvis by the legs and spun him around, flinging him through the nearest asteroid.
Alvis penetrated the asteroid and reappeared on the other side. Isaiah quickly caught up with him and grabbed his hands, spiking him downwards. Alvis plummeted to the ground.
Isaiah flew below him before he could be grounded, however, and kneed him in the gut. Alvis wretched and spat out blood. Isaiah waited for a few seconds, then flip-kicked Alvis into the air.
Alvis was blasted up several thousand miles before slamming into a particularly massive asteroid. Isaiah watched with relief on his face as Alvis disappeared from view. Isaiah turned and flew back over to Jackie.
Isaiah looked and saw that she was running from a massive Adina, who was chasing after Jackie with an unusually strong bloodlust. A bright red light flashed from above.
Alvis had fired a beam of antimatter that was headed straight for Jackie. Isaiah rushed over to Jackie and landed in front of her as Adina began to back off. Isaiah used half of Dark Inferno to form a shield.
The beam of antimatter hit the shield, forming a massive explosion. When the smoke cleared, Jackie saw that the shield had been annihilated, leaving Isaiah half-covered in Dark Inferno, half-exposed. Another bright red light flashed from overhead.
Alvis was plummeting toward the two like a meteor. An idea popped into Jackie's head as Isaiah kneeled, exhausted. Jackie mounted Kitsune and jumped over Adina's head. Jackie landed back on Kitsune on the other side.
"Final blast!!!" Jackie yelled. Kitsune opened its mouth and fired a massive and powerful blast of chi. However, Kitsune was facing the wrong direction. This had been part of Jackie's plan, however, as the blast began to push Adina towards the impact zone. Isaiah got up and flew over to Jackie, weaving around and destroying the tentacles that got in his way.
Adina had just gotten under Alvis when he impacted the ground, annihilating the asteroid. Jackie and Isaiah were blasted back. They were both caught by Kitsune, who had jumped in the way seconds before. Isaiah and Jackie slid to the ground next to each other.
The space in front of them was filled with rocks and slime. However, Alvis was still alive, floating in the debris field, his aura raging. "I've got an idea," Isaiah said. "Go ahead," Jackie said, panting. "I'll fly behind him and fire my life-form disintegration ray," Isaiah explained.
"That's way too slow to hit him," Jackie replied, shaking her head. "That's why you'll absorb and regurgitate it," Isaiah continued. "But what if you're caught in the blast?" Jackie asked. "I'll be fine," Isaiah finished. Isaiah got up and flew at incredible speed toward Alvis. Alvis dashed towards Isaiah in return. Isaiah waited and then sped off to the side.
Alvis turned around confused as Isaiah began to channel energy. "You won't survive this," Isaiah said mockingly. Isaiah channeled all of his remaining energy. A massive and raging red aura appeared around him as he announced the name of his final attack.
"Flame Nova!!!!" Isaiah yelled as a massive beam of red antimatter fired at Alvis. Alvis quickly moved to the side to avoid the blast and flew up to taunt Isaiah. "You thought you could kill me with that slow-ass move?" Alvis asked laughing. "I'm insulted."
Alvis's face turned from one full of humor to rage in less than a second. Isaiah finally ran out of energy and stopped firing his beam. Alvis grabbed him by the throat and held him up. "Then maybe you should take your insulted self and look behind you," Isaiah retorted.
Alvis looked back at Jackie who was channeling energy in her hands. Jackie began to pour her energy into the ball turning it from red to blue to gold and decreasing its size.
Jackie pulled her hand behind her and then whipped it out. "Burn out," she whispered. The small sparking ball of energy flew out slowly. The ball slowly reached Alvis and Isaiah.
Alvis laughed as the ball went in front of his face. "What is this?" Any's reply was cut short as the ball exploded, generating an explosion so massive that Corey and Lennox were able to see it, thousands of miles away. Kitsune shielded Jackie from the explosion as it annihilated Alvis and anything that was left of Adina. The explosion raged for a minute before finally dissipating.
Jackie looked all around the cleared-out space and finally spotted a black ball. She and Kitsune flew over to it and inspected it. The black ball disappeared, revealing Isaiah who was, for the most part, unscathed. "Told you it would work," Isaiah said, smirking.
