"Let me go! Let me go!" Rina yelled as she was dragged by the bandits to where their vehicle was parked.
She turned and looked at me, I guess she was expecting me to do something but then I looked away. I knew it pained her but it was only for a moment, I couldn't act rashly now or I won't be able to defeat them all. I was burning inside of me, watching the way they were laying their filthy bands on her but I had to restrain myself from doing anything. I only hope that they don't do anything to her or I'll destroy them all even if it means harming myself.
"I ordered all of you to bring all your valuables and hand them to me but it seems you are taking it for granted," the boss of the bandits spoke as he approached us. " Since I'm a kind-hearted man, I won't mind giving you a chance to redeem yourselves. You know what to do, now begin!"
The people had no choice but to obey the order and thus, they began to submit all their money to him. Some dropped their bags of money while some dropped their accessories as it was all that they have.
"You! Why aren't you submitting yours?" The man asked while pointing at me.
"Because I have nothing," I replied.
"What do you mean by you have nothing or are you playing pranks with me?" He questioned.
"I'm not playing pranks with you! I don't have anything to give you besides aren't you too greedy for your age!" I responded.
"What!"
"Is he being serious?"
"This kid, does he want to die?"
Hearing the mumblings, I smirked and glared at the man, "I'm not afraid of you, you know why? Because you aren't worth my fears!"
"You!" The man yelled, his chest rising and falling as he stared daggers at me. "How dare you kid insult me! What are you all waiting for? Teach this trash some lessons!" He yelled at his lackeys.
It was the moment I was waiting for, the guy who had the flames in his hand rushed at me before the others. "This is going to be a tough battle, so why it is going on, gather your things and get into the bus or find somewhere safe to hide!" I turned and spoke to the young man close to me.
"Kid, do you want to die!" The young man yelled in fright.
"Haha, I can't die! Just take care of these people because I might harm them during the process," I replied and ran off, leaving him speechless. I have told him what to do, it was left for him to do it and save them or leave them to get harmed, the choice lies in his hand.
"Time to use this baby!" I mumbled with a smirk as I ran towards the bandit with the fire element.
"Kid, you sure are arrogant!" He spoke with a look of disdain on his face.
"Of course, I am!" I replied and unsheathed my sword. "Let's get things done immediately!" I added and pointed my sword at him.
"Very well then, I'll see if you can survive this blow," he responded with a grin. Standing some meters apart, he raised the ball of dark flame and shot it right at me.
I watched as it darted towards me at full speed, I had planned on dodging the attack but after thinking about it, I decided against it. I wanted to feel the power of the blessing of the God seal and so I was going to withstand the attack and try to block it with my new sword.
Even before touching me, I was only feeling the hotness of the flame as it neared me, so much so that I was already sweating. Nevertheless, I wasn't going to run away from it, it'll be the last thing I'll do. I gripped my sword and stood firmly, the moment the ball of flame came to me, I used my sword and blocked it from touching me.
"Tsk! Do you want to get burned so eagerly?" The bandit asked as he watched me.
The ball of flame began to scatter around and surround me, I was now in the middle of hot flames. It was no longer tongues of flames rather, they were growing taller by each second until they had completely covered me.
As I was surrounded by the flames, I began to feel incredibly hot, my clothes were as though they were on fire. "So much for the blessing of the God seal, huh?" I muttered as I felt a new burning desire towards it.
"Aren't you dead yet?" I heard the bandit ask in a bit of disappointment.
"Not while you are still alive!" I answered back.
I needed to find a way to control the flames which I know would be difficult, 'Well, let's give it a try ' I thought and focused my attention on myself. I haven't created any spells since I awakened my elements but I was going to do so right now, right here.
I closed my eyes and focused my attention on the eighteen red stars that were floating around in my spiritual world. Sensing my presence, they stopped floating around and aligned themselves.
'I didn't know you guys were this obedient,' I thought.
As if understanding me, they made weird sounds and floated around for a while before returning to their position.
'I'm going to show these bastards my power, so get prepared to act'
Once again, they made weird sounds and floated around, perhaps in excitement. I opened my eyes and then a circle of red transparent stars formed on the ground. The stars formed a star path and entered into me, as they did, the hotness I was having due to the flames surrounding me seized and I was able to breathe well.
'I'll see if I can control these flames and merge them with mine ' I thought and focused on the flames around me. The other bandits were waiting and watching me, if the flames don't hurt me, they are no doubt going to attack me at once. I needed to do something at once before trying to merge these flames with mine.
"Lightning bolts!" I yelled and raised my sword to the sky.
"It's the lightning element!"
"This kid! He is a lightning mage?"
The sky turned dark as they mumbled in shock and arcs of lightning filled everywhere, I then directed them to my sword and pointed it at the bandits. "Go!" I ordered with a smirk on my face.
The lightning arcs vibrated in my hand and rushed out, making swoosh sounds as they lighted towards the bandits who were left astounded by them. The lightning arcs surrounded them and began to attack them, striking them without mercy. I smirked and then focused back on the flames.
With my hands outstretched, I tried to draw the flames towards me and after some efforts, they began to come together and turn back into the ball of flames it was. It rose into the air and then floated towards me and fell on my open palm. With the ball of flames now in my possession, I could feel the power of the intermediate-level fire. I turned around, the bandits were already on the ground with most of their skins scorched and whining in pain.
"Do you think you can get away with this?" The boss of the bandits asked as he came out of his hiding, dragging Rina along with him.
"Let her go and I might consider sparing your miserable life," I replied.
"Tsk! I know your kind so I won't listen to you, it's either she goes down with me or you go down with her!" The man coldly said and immediately pulled a dagger from his pocket.
Seeing his intention, I didn't waste a second and shot the ball of flames towards him, "Rina, run!" I yelled.
Rina being smart enough elbowed him in the stomach and then ran out of his grip. The moment she moved away, the flames caught him and surrounded him, leaving him yelling at the top of his lungs.
"Are you alright?" I asked her as she ran to me.
"Yes, thank you again," she replied.
"Go join the rest of the passengers, let me finish my work with that fool!" I told her and then began to walk towards the man who was still screaming.
