Linx kept stealing glances at Dana as they rode in silence to the agency. When she came out of the dressing room he had forced her into he had imagined her coming out in heels, a short black dress--his favorite color, glamorous makeup and well styled hair but when Dana stepped out his imagination was crushed but damn she looked good in the outfit she wore, they were a bit baggy but it suited her quite well, it was after all the trending dressing style right now in the country. Linx couldn't take his eyes off of her even as he acted like he was unimpressed with how she looked and had just instructed her to join him in the car.
Finally they got to the agency walking a little in front of Dana, Linx was grateful for the distraction from all sides as everyone tried to greet him, which he of course ignored, not like he felt above anyone he didn't want to fuel their pretence cause most of them didn't actually like him and were the same people to quickly attribute his success to his family name, which he hated. As Linx and Dana walked into the agency all eyes fell on them, more curious stares lingered as she moved hurriedly trying to meet up with Linx's pace, she could hear her heart beating as she tried to avoid everyone's unmoving stare at Linx and especially her "focus Dana" she muttered to herself.
"Our super star is here" President Li Huoyu announced as Linx walked making heads turn to face the door where Linx and Dana stood. President Li was a good looking man in his 40s, at a young age he had quit music after three charts toping albums and decided to create a music company which had done so well over the years signing and making big stars among which was Linx, Starlight's beloved Linx a combination of talent and influence which made him one of president's Li's priced artists despite his arrogance he still tolerated him a little tantrums here and there wasn't worth him loosing an artist like Linx or getting into the Feng family's bad books.
Linx snorted at the president's words as he drew near a chair and sat down, joining everyone else on the round table.
"It's nice to see you're doing well president Li" Linx said nonchalantly as he gulped down a bottle of water that was in front of him.
"Ah it's the universe's good grace" president Li added smiling at himself before he asked the question which had been on his mind since Linx walked in with a beautiful looking tall girl behind him. He knew everyone that worked directly with Linx or was close to him but he didn't know her, so was she a model cause she looked much like one despite her shy kind of nature as she kept her eyes down.
"So who's the young lady behind you" President Li finally asked. Linx raised his eyes up to meet the president's before it gradually wondered through the room noticing everyone eager stare.
"That isn't what this meeting is for is it? Anyway to stop everyone from staring at me like a hawk I'll tell you. "She's my PA".
"PA? The HR team lead blurted out unconsciously, noticing the way Linx stared at him he carefully removed his lances smiling awkwardly.
"I thought you didn't want a PA, president Li said eying Desiree who pretended to be busy with the files in front of him.
"I changed my mind so?
"According to the company's rule you can't employ anyone to be your PA if the company doesn't approve of them, that's after they've undergone the interview for it" the talent scout manager Miss Su added whilst giving Dana a pained glare.
As Dana heard the word Interview her brows quickly shot up, if they conducted an interview she was sure she won't be able to hide certain things about her past like her real name which she had changed to Dana.
"I don't care about that, she's my PA and that's final and about the trip to Korea, I'm not going ask another artist to"
"They specifically asked for you Linx.
The organizes asked for no one else but you, it's a huge deal and quite good for your publicity and that of your new album outside the country." President Li quickly added sounding impatient, this boy showed up with a girl the company didn't even know about as his PA and now his avoiding to go on a trip that the company stood a chance at benefiting so much from, this was the exact reason he always sent Desiree to talk to him.
"I said I'm not interested" Linx shot back as he stood up from his seat to leave.
"Attend the Event and she skips the interview process and officially becomes your PA or we find you a new PA" President Li said looking directly at Linx who had crooked his head back to meet his gaze. Linx was stubborn but he was a business man and even though his conditions goes against the company's rules he was ready to make this exception.
"Fine! I'll send in my own conditions" Linx said pissed as he walked out of the meeting room with Dana moving behind him as he angrily hurried out.
His response had shocked everyone and greatly annoyed one person Miss Su who couldn't believe he had just for the first time agreed to something he was against, everyone knew he never went back on his words but now? Just cause of that girl he had accepted, something was definitely off miss Su gossiped with her assistant as she angrily went back to her office.
President Li on the other hand was quite surprised but his happiness overwhelmed it, for the first time Linx accepted without making a huge fuss.
Everyone gave way as Linx angrily walked out of the company, no one dared to some much as try to greet him as his face had turned red in comparison to his flawless face that was all over the company's walls and cardboard cuts.
"He still looks so handsome even when his angry" a petite girl said to her friend, chuckling as she watched him walk out in ewe. When Dana heard her she scoffed "I don't know what spell he's casted on you all to even think that" she murmured to herself.
When they got outside the company Linx was already in the car.
"You can go home from her, works done for today" he said looking forward as he started the car without sparing Dana a glance.
Dana looked over at her small waist watch, it was just 3pm what would she be doing till 5pm when she had to meet Bingwen (Minde) besides she didn't understand why he was so furious.
"But senior it's just 3pm"... Dana said. Without answering her Linx rode off with speed.
"Arggh how dare he! " Dana screamed after Linx's disappearing car.
