'Anyway, I can't die because the penalty of dying is too painful for me. The penalty is temporary termination of the account. Since a device was available for one account only, the temporary termination of the account can only mean you can't play again, unless you pay 1,000$ to revoke the punishment. For someone like me, this penalty is unbearable.'
'No. Wait. Isn't it weird? In the first place, how did I end up acquiring such a special mission? If I remember correctly, a player can only be granted a special mission if he or she passed a hidden requirement that only a few staff of the game company knew. In this case, did I pass a hidden requirement for me to be granted this mission?'
'Uhmm….. that seems impossible to happen, especially since I have just started this game. What kind of hidden requirement could I achieve in this short amount of time?'
Ranz asked himself in puzzlement.
He heard from those streamers that a special mission was super hard to acquire. Anyway, this is the weirdest special mission he ever knew.
Ranz shook his head to clear his mind. 'I have no time to think about this matter right now. Before that, I need to first find a way to avoid dying in this game. I just started this game and then I immediately faced with danger? This is not good. I have no money to pay the death penalty. I can't die. The things I have worked so hard for the past few days cannot be wasted. I need to think of a way.'
After shaking his head, Ranz turned around. He looked at the Altimeter and he found that his altitude was 1300 feet. His distance from the ground was getting lower and lower and he could also see now the small details that were there.
He also noticed the four flying monsters were getting closer and closer to him.
While looking at the Winged-Bubble as if it had become a soccer ball, Dawn couldn't help but laugh.
"Hehehe!"
He laughed while showing a sinister grin.
"I'm pretty sure whoever was on board that Winged-Bubble is definitely shitting his pants right now!"
There was a pleasure on his face as he said those words.
"Indeed! Let's go, let's see what his expression is like!" Lonewolf said those words without hiding his excitement.
They sped up flying towards Ranz. The two of them had the same thoughts.
About a few seconds passed,
"Wait…" Ranz's eyes widened at what he saw. He noticed that the two flying monsters were actually giant insects!
'Wait… are those Bettleflies?!' he shouted to himself, sounding excited.
Now that he has seen it in person, it was even more amazing to look at. He used to only see it in videos and pictures.
He then noticed something on top those Bettleflies.
"Players?" Ranz asked when he noticed human silhouettes on their back.
He also noticed that there were two more silhouettes behind them. He narrowed his eyes and tried to identify their forms.
Because they were getting closer and closer to him. They were also getting bigger and bigger in his sight. Thus, their visage became clearer and clearer.
Afrw seconds later, he finally identified the two other creatures.
'Those two… t-they are Fierce Vultures!'
Ranz didn't miss learning about monsters in this game. So no wonder he knew what kind of monsters they were. He suddenly remembered that Fierce Vulture's main attack was Wind Vortex.
"Then there's no doubt that those vultures are the source of the vortexes that hit the Winged-Bubble!"
After shouting, he saw that there were two Wind Vortexes again coming in his direction.
Seeing it, he realized something.
"Does this mean that those two players are the real targets of the vultures?! And because they were going in my direction, every time they avoided the vortexes, the vortexes continued in my direction!"
'Dammit, I need to tell them not to bring the vultures here.'
"Hey! Don't be here— "
"Daheck!"
Suddenly, his speech stopped and he was stunned when he noticed that another two Wind Vortexes were speeding toward him.
He gulped down subconsciously. It was as if cold water had poured over his body.
Out of reflex, Ranz applied his hands to the transparent surface of the Winged-Bubble and he tried pushing it unconsciously. He was trying to push it away from the trajectory of the vortices.
He wasn't flustered or anything; he was just out of option.
Ranz didn't know if it would be effective or not, but he was able to dodge the first vortex. However, the second was able to hit the Winged-Bubble.
He was like a ball being kicked hard again. The Winged-Bubble sprang rapidly towards the village. Now he was on top of it and the shadow of some people below could be seen. However, although his altitude dropped, it was still not enough for him to survive if he jumped from his current distance.
Fortunately, that vortex did not penetrate the Winged-Bubble. Because if it happened to penetrate, he would definitely be dead. It would have been okay if the attack came from the players because he knew that the players had no damage to a newbie like him. Therefore, he would definitely be fine even if they hit him.
However, even if the vortex didn't penetrate, that was still not enough for Ranz to be complacent because he noticed that the Winged-Bubble had a big hole.
While trying to come up of a way, it came to his mind that it would have been better if the Winged-Bubble just fell on the ground.
'The Winged-Bubble is also a barrier so I'm sure I won't get hurt too much even if it falls. '
'The only problem is... is if the Winged-Bubble will eventually break before it happens. Since I'm still Level 0 my stats are surely low.'
Ranz didn't know how much his total stats, so it was unwise to depend on it.
The question is, will his current stats be enough to help him survive at this altitude if he falls?
'The answer is... that's impossible but there's also a miracle.'
Ranz looked again at the two people riding the Bettleflies. For some unknown reason, they were still heading in his direction as if they were intentionally—
'Wait… perhaps they really mean to lure the vultures towards me?' Ranz suddenly suspected.
"Hey!" He tried to call them. "What are you doing!"
If the Winged-Bubble was hit once more, it would definitely break.
"Hey, Dawn! Look! It looks like the newbie inside is in panic!" Lonewolf shouted.
"Muhehehe!"
