Jiang Meiying instructed Li Fu and Hai Bo to distribute the test sheets to everyone in the class while Da Xia fumed with anger.
Once everyone had settled into their seats with their test sheets on their locker, Jiang Meiying, still seated at the teacher's desk with her test sheet infront of her, pointed to the huge wall clock in the classroom and everyone turned.
"This period is 1 hour and 30 minutes. Which means, you all have 80 minutes for this exam whereby I'll make use of ten minutes to gather the sheets and submit them."
This was something everyone agreed to.
Without a word, she began scribbling down on her sheet, a silent gesture for everyone to start.
The class was suddenly quiet but for the faint sounds of a pencil lead scribbling against paper.
Li Fu and Hai Bo looked just as most of the students in the class did. Lost and confused. Some of these questions were so advanced and hard!
Jiang Meiying In her past life had studied science and technology and loved science subjects. These questions before her were very easy and using her method which was used in her time, she was able to solve them all without any trouble.
Da Xia glared at Jiang Meiying who had her bent to the desk the entire time, scribbling away like she was writing something off the board. The way she punched her calculator with a serious face caused her heart to wrench and twitch.
Just what did she think she was doing with that calculator? Was she actually solving these questions?! Even she didn't know her way around most of these equations...
But she wasn't worried.
Teacher Lee had informed them about the test yesterday so she had come prepared.
In a secluded place in the girls' restroom she had left her chemistry textbook lying there. If she could use her previous tricks of going into the bathroom just to peep inside, she would pass this test for sure.
Clearing her throat, she pushed her chair backwards and got up, dusting off her skirt In a lady like pose, her back, straight as usual.
Jiang Meiying looked up with a nonchalant gaze, but her eyebrows rose high enough to almost touch her hairline when Da Xia held the door knob, about to leave.
"Are you finished with the test? Then drop it right here." She pointed the tip of her pen to the empty space on the table meant for submission of test sheets.
At that moment, Jiang Ming and her friends began pulling out their Chemistry textbooks when they were sure Jiang Meiying was completely distracted.
Before Da Xia could say a word, Jiang Meiying swiftly turned like an agile eagle and flung the ruler in her hand.
Everyone ducked and hid their faces, and some were too stunned to even move, but Jiang Meiying knew exactly where she had thrown that ruler.
The entire class gasped In shock as Jiang Ming winced and let the Chemistry book in her hand drop to the ground, along with the ruler, before them all.
Shocked? Surprised?
No.
Every student In the class, Da Xia being no exception stared at Jiang Meiying with horror stricken faces.
How she knew Jiang Ming was using her textbook wasn't the question. How did she make such a perfect aim with a ruler all the way from the teacher's desk?
Jiang Meiying ignored their gazes and coldly said.
"You all have 40 minutes left. Unless you want to keep staring at me like that and leave your test sheets unfinished, then you're welcome to do so. Be my guest."
Jiang Ming, red in the face from everyone looking at her again, almost buried her face In her locker as she struggled to write.
Her heart seethed with anger against Jiang Meiying. She was the second topper in class. How could she embarrass her like this?!
Jiang Meiying made sure the Chemistry textbook was lying on the floor, out of anyone's reach before she turned to Da Xia who had frozen a while ago, staring at her like she was sprouting a third eye on her jaw.
"I- I'm going to the bathroom. Are you going to hit me too?"
"I don't care where you head to. Just to be clear, you will not be touching your test sheet once you return or not. As you're leaving, I'll assume you've finished?"
Da Xia face turned red with spite and anger.
"Are you saying I can't go to the bathroom now? Do you want me to hold it In? Are you not just doing too much Jiang Meiying?"
"I'm not stopping you from leaving, am I?" Jiang Meiying smirked, sitting back down to continue writing.
"I don't need your consent. I'll leave now and return to finish my test."
Jiang Meiying just chuckled coldly and Da Xia trembled slightly. What if Jiang Meiying refuses her from taking the test?
Looking pitiful, she turned back to her seat but not before shouting for the whole class to hear.
"Wait till Teacher Lee hears how you've bullied me!"
Jiang Meiying barely glanced up from her paper which only infuriated her the more.
After 10 minutes, Jiang Meiying was done with her test and neatly dropped it on the empty space meant for the test sheets' submission and sat there, scanning her cold eyes across the class.
"Twenty minutes left." She announced after turning to the wall clock.
Da Xia stared in envy at the test sheet she submitted. How could she have finished so fast? Was Jiang Meiying really smart? But Jiang Meiying knew nothing... how could she suddenly be so smart overnight??
This question was on everyone's mind, Li Fu and Hai Bo being no exception.
Three minutes after the test ended, Jiang Meiying went about the class, collecting the sheets from their desk. Her eyes met with Jiang Ming and she almost chuckled at the murdering glint shining in them.
The same was for Da Xia and her tropes, but she ignored them and went away with the envelope containing the test sheets to the staff room.
