Zhang Hien returned home just in time before the others arrived. He didn't want Mr. Jiang to know he took one of his cars out to go visit his aunt.
As he crammed his book shut, he raised his head and heard the familiar sound of someone stepping on the stairs.

Like he expected, the next minute, Jiang Meiying walked in, flinging her school bag towards the bed, planning on studying some more later.
She noticed the empty plate on the bedside table and said with raised brows,
"I see you've eaten today. Did you eat well?"
"Yes and what about you? I asked the maids if you ate breakfast and they said you skipped breakfast today."
"Oh," She nonchalantly said as she grabbed her towel to freshen up. "I guess I forgot to."
"Did you eat lunch?"
"Mm." She replied honestly
She had eaten an egg salad before teaching her students today.
"But you ought not to miss breakfast. It's the most important meal of the day. Always eat breakfast every morning." He said with a serious face and Jiang Meiying gave him a salute with a grin.
"Yes- sir!"
Zhang Hien sighed and shook his head with a small smile when he realized she was teasing him for being too serious.
"It's not healthy and I don't want you to get sick." He softly said, looking down meekly and Jiang Meiying felt her heart flip in a funny way.
This man didn't even care If she ate more to look fatter than she already is... he just cared about her health.
But why was her heart beating this way.
"I promise I won't miss breakfast again." She replied.
Zhang Hien smiled in appreciation of her willingness before he quickly said, just as she was heading to the bathroom.
"We have to discuss something after you're done. It's important."
She paused and turned with narrowed eyes.
"Mm? Did something happen?"
"No... No... I've got some news, but I'll tell you after."
She didn't want to push him to say anything further, so she obediently went in to freshen up and just as she patted her feet on the soft foot mat in the bathroom, she glimpsed at her body before swiftly tying a towel around.
She looked at the space before her and imagined her interface which popped up before her.

Nodding in approval, she clicked to accept, and In the next moment, she closed her eyes as she felt a small shockwave travel down from her forehead to her shoulders down to her waist, hips and down to her legs causing her toes to subconsciously curl. She slowly opened her eyes and let out a breath of fresh air, feeling like a huge weight's been lifted off her back. She felt so light... and powerful.

She nodded and glanced over at the items left, wondering what to pick next.
"Weight loss pill? No. With my body containing manna, I might loose enough weight to get everyone suspicious of me. I don't want Zhang Hien to have a heart attack. I need to use this after a week and besides, I won't have enough EXP left to buy a new quest next week."
"Skin detoxing oil? The old Host of this body had been so mistreated in the past and this body has so many brusies and burns. They're well hidden by the clothes I wear but not this scar." She touched the scar on her forehead and grimaced. "It's so big! How pitiful!"
After pondering for a while, She bought the skin detoxing oil and agility pill."
As expected their prices doubled over and she got a different looking glass tube with a transparent oil and the agility pill worked invisible wonders in her body system as the manna supplement had done.
She's never felt as powerful as she did just now.
Suddenly she hears the sound of something crashing and the unpleasant voice of her step-mother yelling at someone.
When she pokes her head out the door to warn Zhang Hien about leaving to check what was going on, he wasn't in the room.
