Galactic Year 2175, Bludfist Tower Penthouse
After we "ate" breakfast, Earlan led us out to the living area of the penthouse. Standing around the low coffee table were three women. Two of them, I didn't recognize, but I recognized one of them. Standing next to these other two women, laughing and talking, was Lenora.
"You sly vampire." I said to Vladimir. He smiled and put a hand on my shoulder.
"Come, young Lord Alex, meet my daughters." He led me towards the group of women, clearing his throat as we approached. All three of them turned to look at us at the same time and I saw Lenora's eyes flash brightly when she saw me.
'Oh this is going to be trouble,' I thought to myself, stepping over to the table and taking a glass of wine.
"Lord Alex," Vladimir began, "These are my three daughters. This one, on the far right is Lady Silva, the middle is my daughter Lady Christine and last, but not least, my youngest daughter whom you have already met, Lady Lenora." Vladimir introduced his daughters to me and gave me a sly grin at the end when he introduce Lenora to me again.
"Yes, Lord Vladimir, I had the privilege of dancing with Lady Lenora last night at my celebration. Though I must apologize, I do not remembering seeing any of your other daughters last night."
"Ah yes, Lenora went to the celebration on her own. They were all supposed to wait for tonight, but Lenora couldn't wait to meet you." Vladimir teased his youngest daughter and she blushed and hid her face.
"Well I am glad that I got the chance to meet her last night. She could be herself without me knowing her background. I would have done the same thing, were I in her shoes, my lord." I replied, grinning at Lenora's reaction to being called out.
"Well I don't blame my sister one bit," Christine gave me a dazzling smile, "You are a very handsome young man, Lord Alex, and I can feel that there is more to you." She licked her lips seductively and her eyes glinted darkly, the crimson color flashing in the low light. "Your eyes, my Lord, will you tell me why they are such a color? Yet they hold more power than even my father's eyes?"
I smiled and let my blood boil a bit, "It is due to the purity of my blood, my Lady." Their breath caught and Lenora's sisters both looked at me with wide eyes when they felt my bloodline's power for the first time. "I am unlike any vampire in existence, my Lady. In fact, your father and I both believe that I do not have the usual constraints of our species when it comes to reproduction."
"You mean?..." All three ladies spoke at the same time, their eyes growing even wider as their jaws dropped open.
"Yes, my Ladies, there is a very high possibility that I can reproduce with vampires and humans naturally." The words hung in silence for a few minutes while the daughters of Vladimir contemplated the meaning of my words. The silence in the room was broken by the voice of Lenora.
"M-My L-Lord.... W-Would you b-be-become m-my..... m-m-mate?" Her face was beet red and she couldn't look me in the eye after she spoke.
"Oh how bold sister! Beating Christine and I to the punch I see!" Lady Silva laughed musically and put a hand over her mouth. Smiling beneath her hand, she looked at me and winked. I smiled and spoke once more.
"You know that you cannot be my only mate, right?"
"I-I know that! But I still want to be your mate..." She curled in on herself a bit more and I felt sorry for the girl. She knew what all of this meant but she still wanted it. Who was I to deny a beautiful woman her desires?
"Then, my Lady Lenora," I walked in front of her and took her hand in mine, "Would you do me the great honor of Tying yourself to me?" It was a proper proposal, I was always going to give one, but I never thought it would be to Lenora. I though this decision would be more political and not involve anyone's real feelings. Oh how wrong I was!
"It is all that I wish for, My Lord," Lenora bowed her head as she spoke, still unable to make eye contact with me. I put a finger under her chin and raised her eyes to meet mine.
"Raise your head, My Lady, for you are now my queen. You will rule over these vampires with me in the future and, hopefully, bear our living children." I leaned in and kissed her. She froze for a few seconds before melting into my embrace, forgetting her father and sisters standing right next to us.
"Why stop there?" Christine spoke up, "You said it yourself, My Lord, children take time to grow and the future of our people rests with you. I do not know about you, Silva, but if I could be a mate of the greatest vampire then I would chose that every time. No matter how many other mates he has." I turned to look at Christine and Silva who were now standing closer to me, both with their hands raised. I raised an eyebrow and looked to Lord Vladimir. He had a fatherly smile on his face, but I could see the glint in his eye. He was feeling nervous.
"There is no reason why our clans' bond cannot be strengthened even more, my Lord. I would be honored to be chosen by all three of Clan Dracula's Princesses."
