It was morning. Shu woke up when he heard a person enter his room.
"What is it, sir."
Shu asked while stretching.
"I'm just here to deliver your new uniform. Dress up and get ready. We are going in two hours."
Danny answered and left the room.
Shu rose from the bed and went to take a look at his new uniform.
It was a white buttoned shirt with black pants and a black tie.
For lack of a better option, Shu had to wear his shirt this time...
There was also a black belt with the same magical item he usually used to carry his brass knuckles.
He wore his new uniform and noticed a note was placed on the table.
[don't forget to wear a mask.]
Was written on it, and Shu sighed.
Honestly, the mask wasn't that comfortable, and he needed to keep paying attention to making sure it was placed in such a way so that no one would notice his ears were not a part of it.
He entered the main hall and saw that everyone was already waiting for him.
"Are you finally ready?"
Danny asked with a smile.
"Yes, sir."
Shu answered.
"Good, then let's go!"
Danny said, and their entire group started going.
********
They walked outside the city and into the large military camp that was staying there to accompany the weather god.
"So you've finally come."
Antony said, and his cunning smile stretched from ear to ear.
"What is it you want, Antony?"
Danny asked, getting straight to the point, and his expression showed his seriousness.
"Fine, if you don't even wanna pretend it's a peace talk, then we won't," Antony smiled and shouted, "Charge!"
In mere seconds dozens of soldiers, more skilled than average, surrounded them.
Among these soldiers were Angels, Demons of many kinds, Humans, Beastmen, Vampires, and many other races.
One such soldier leaped at Shu.
It was an angel who used his wings to increase his movement speed.
He flew straight to Shu with a spear in hand. Shu needed to do nothing but simply dodge the lance and lift his hand toward the angel's face. The angel noticed the punch, but it was too late, he couldn't evade it, and his face crushed into Shu's fist.
Shu made sure to do that punch in such a way so that it won't be an instant kill and the angel would still be savable.
Many more soldiers with varying attack ranges swarmed him and the others, and they were starting to get overwhelmed.
Three in the group are close combat fighters, so they can't fight too many enemies. It's not like as the number of enemies grows. The weaker an enemy gets.
Six are regular users of arming swords, katanas, and longswords. But even though they can easily damage many soldiers, they still need to reach those enemies, and it's a complicated task against ranged attacks such as magic users, archers, and spear users.
Eight are magic users, and while they can use area-of-affect attacks, they have their limits. Most of them are more versed in support spells and magic that isn't very lethal, so they couldn't beat their enemies at the correct pace to not be overwhelmed.
Among them, Danny, George, Shí Hóu, Momotaro, and Chaos were the only ones who successfully held their ground because they had the skills required to get over their weaknesses.
As the fight took longer, everyone was getting more and more overwhelmed.
"Danny, I need your help!"
Chaos shouted. Enemies surrounded him, and unluckily for him, they were spear users. His 'sword of chaos' can nullify magic, but it doesn't have infinite reach. Spears aren't unlimited either, but they can at least attack from a longer distance than his longsword. And archers are even harder to deal with from a long range.
"Danny, we are getting overwhelmed!"
Ishtar shouted.
She was fighting alongside her husband, Momotaro, and their skills covered each other somewhat well.
Her magic is more destructive and mightier than most of their group, while Momotaro's sword skills are only second to Chaos. But as the number of enemies increased, her spells became less effective because she had a limit on the number of high-level spells she could use in one day since they completely drained her. Momotaro is the fastest being currently alive. But even he couldn't fight this many troops at once. So they needed Danny's skill of controlling divinity and magic in the air and in the enemies' bodies to slow them down.
"Danny!"
"Danny!"
"Sir!"
"Danniel!"
"Bastard!"
While fighting, Danny heard the yells of everyone who needed his help, but he was too busy fighting that damned weather god.
Antony smirked, and Danny was irritated.
"what's so funny?"
"You can barely hold your own against a hollow husk."
Antony answered, and for the first time, he opened his eyes.
Danny looked into Antony's eyes and was startled.
In the place where there should be eyes, there is darkness. Not like he has no eyes or eyes that lack any emotion but pure darkness. It was like staring into the abyss, but this abyss wasn't an empty space. It was something with a texture that no living being could ever describe.
"What is this?!"
Danny exclaimed.
"When you decided to destroy the old reality and create your own, you allowed everyone to wish for what they want in the new reality. Even dead souls were given such a precious opportunity. My wish was to have the ability to control the bodies of all the dead people with divine blood that didn't choose to reincarnate as if they were alive."
Antony said and enjoyed the confused and terrified expression on Danny's face.
"'But how? Gifted and gods don't go to the death plain, and they can't reincarnate.' That's what you are thinking right now. But you forgot something, the gods of the old reality had many children who they had forgotten and who died during the first war, most of these children don't count as gods, and obviously, they were not gifted, so they did go to the death plain and some reincarnated, and others are my pawns."
Antony explained, and Danny couldn't remember the last time he felt this much out of control.
"Who are you?! Who let your wish be accepted?!"
Danny asked, and his eyes glowed brighter than before.
"You will find it in due time. In the meantime, what do you say I use your brother's body against you."
Antony said, and Danny was utterly shaken.
The entire reality started shaking and seemed unstable.
Antony summoned a bolt of lightning, stabbing through Danny's heart like a spear or sword.
"Let there be Chaos!"
