I looked everywhere.
Every single place I knew I could find him in a hotel as big as this. The pool where I suffered my humiliation, the indoor golf course, the tennis court, the lounge, the bar…every single place that screamed fun in this hotel but I didn't find him. Neither did I find Carter anywhere.
"Aarghh…! Where is he?"
I was this close to,losing my mind and going for my hair again so I can pull on it…it's become an habit of mine when frustrated but I tried to keep my cool. I spent so much time and money trying to look this good even if it now feels like a total waste of time.
It was already noon. No sign of Douglas Castle, Carter and not even his blonde bimbo.
I was at the last place the hotel could boast of as a fun place and there was no sign of Douglas.
