Seriously, what the hell is happening and since when did I become so comfortable with talking to this guy that we now seem like chat buddies. The thought of it was unnerving and it made me stop replying his messages.
He stopped sending them too.
I plodded over to the shopping bags and emptied their content on the bed. I came face to face with couple of clothes I saw Carter pick out at the store. It didn't take long for my eyes to catch the red sequin dress that stood out among all of the others.
As expected, it's short but it looked really pretty and befitting for a party with it's thin straps and shimmery design.
